I dropped off my car and I always get a little uneasy at auto shops cause you feel like you're vulnerable but my experience was amazing. I checked in and waited in the lobby. They have free water, snacks and coffee. They came up to me shortly after and said that my sensor wasn't working and there was no pressure on getting it replaced. They said it would cost about $200 to fix and it actually was the price I was expecting if that was the issue. I just didn't want to pay that for a sensor. And the mechanic told me that he doesn't blame me. I asked how much it would be and he said nothing. They even adjusted my tire pressure since some were off due to filling it with air at the gas stations and they aren't the most accurate. I really wasn't expecting this kind of service and would come back to this place in the future for services to my vehicle. Awesome place!

Within 48 hours of the oil change, I experienced a significant oil or fluid leak that has since caused my serpentine belt to pop and my engine to overheat. This has resulted in both safety concerns and costly repair needs. However, now the door locks do not work. I called this morning to offer them the chance to remedy it, and instead was told that the door lock actuators must have failed (mind you, that would be a completely separate issue/repair). Well, given that the locks worked fine when I dropped the car off yesterday, now after the master switch replacement they suddenly do not work, it's only logical to assume there must be an issue with that new master switch and/or the installation work. They couldn't accommodate me today, and I'm about to start a new job, so I don't have the ability to bring it in later due to their inconvenient strictly M-F hours. I asked if there were any other options, was thinking maybe a discount or partial refund since I am now stuck with needing yet another repair after their work, but no dice. $480 down the drain. Next time I will go to O'Donnell Honda to have truly affordable repairs, done right the first time, and by a shop that stands by their work.

Doc was my mechanic for many years. At first, I was allowed to be with the car as his son worked on…read moreit he would chat with me. But later even after covid lifted he stopped letting me be in the waiting area. The last oil change as I was driving had the oil filter fell out and all the engine oil spilled onto the streets. I brought the car back and told him the engine is really loud. It sounds like metal grinding. Doc took a look and filled it up with engine oil and installed the wrong oil filter and told me I would be good for another 6 months at least. I listened to the engine and it didn't sound right. I brought it to the dealership that then diagnosed it as a failed engine block. Metal was inside the engine and it needed replacement. In addition, the second oil filter wasn't even the correct filter for my car and was two turns from falling out. Oil was already leaking from it. The bottom of my car was coated in oil, and it could have caught on fire. Fortunately it didnt, and Doc owned up to his mistakes and his business insurance covered the repair. However, that was another hurdle to over come as it got delayed for months. It is very difficult to find a good car shop. Bless you if you have one.

He was able to remember me by my voice, and never failed to call me by name. Talk about customer service! I went in for drums and shoes. It only cost me $83 more than doing it myself. The price is unbeatable. What's more, they have some laminated sheets to help explain all of the repairs. Those tools were instrumental in helping me explain the repair to my wife.
