I used this shop to sell some jewelry and I was disappointed by their inconsistent information. First I went to the location near me and was told that I needed to go to their other location in order to get full price for the items I wanted to sell because they could only give me a price for the gold, not the jewels (precious stones). I explained that I'm disabled and that getting to the other location would be a hardship for me, but they insisted that's where I had to go. So I made the difficult trip to the other location and they told me there that they had no way to figure out the worth of the stones, so they would only give me a price for the gold. This means I could have sold the jewelry at the first location and didn't need to go through so much trouble and pain. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to sell to them because it's not possible for me to get around and check other shops, but they deceived me so I don't trust them to make another sale. read more

I don't know where to start on just how good this place is. Well, let me first say that I would go here first rather than any other pawn broker. I don't work there I don't have any connection to this place other than being a customer. I had a fire in my apartment and lost everything except a few guitars that I had in pawn,.but I had no money. They held my stuff for a year and didn't close my ticket after finding out about my situation. Also I went to another pawn broker a few times and felt like I went to the mafia. Their rates at Paradise were so much more reasonable. I mean a million times more. I can't say enough just how much kindness they showed me. I didn't read other posts but people get mad if they don't get everything they want. Or someone was in a bad mood and they didn't like that. Trust me, you can trust them. Thank you guys read more

Recently conducted a bit of business here-- staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Although I only have a few experiences to base my opinion on, I found them to be reasonable and fair throughout the transaction, and feel like I would be able to recommend them and their services to a friend with confidence. Note: I was pleasantly surprised by the number and variety of musical instruments here, mostly guitars (and accessories), keyboards and percussion, but other instruments as well. One potential caveat: tried to take advantage of a "check in on Yelp and receive two months, no interest!" offer; however when I went to complete the transaction, I was told that I would in fact, have to pay the interest if I wanted my stuff back-- but that if I took a screenshot of the redemption code/page (?) and I don't know, showed it to someone else at the store (who? when?) that somehow they would make good on their offer. Needless to say, this was a bit off-putting, especially inasmuch as my experience up til then had been first-rate. But I'm hoping that this was just a bit of 'end of the day' confusion and that they will honor their offer. I'll follow up here in a week or so with an update. read more

Horrible customer service. Got to the store at 6:58 to take my jewelry out because I won't be able to do so tomorrow when my ticket is up, and did not want to pay unnecessary interest. They would not open the door for me. Store hours are to 7 pm then honor that. I even called a few mins to ask if they can stay open 5 more mins which wasn't even needed. If you want ppl to get to the store at 6:50 then advertise it. Good customer service and a lil compassion goes a long way. read more

Went to Sam Ash to get some microphone clips, as the ones I had had the wrong screw-on attachment. Marc Wasserman was super helpful. He showed me how I could adjust the clip myself using a dime and didn't need to buy new ones. Saved me about $25, and he even gave me a dime to use! I had no problem adjusting the clips and now they work like a charm. read more

If you want to risk losing your money in this place, by all means shop there. Their prices are steep and so when I found the item I purchased at a lower price I tried to return it, still unopened. But guess what? No return policy, only credit at a store which you now have to spend your balance in even though you now know that more than likely it's marked up more than in other establishments. Stores with no refund policies in general should be avoided unless one has no choice. If you must shop there then just do your research beforehand. Caveat Emptor, let the buyer beware! read more
