Ordered 2 smoothies for myself and my mom. I had the Mombo Passion Smoothie and she had the Hello Mello Smoothie. I'm new to this smoothie world, but I'm loving it here. I thought my smoothie was good, I wish I had a different base because it really muted the flavors. My mom thought the same for hers. No fault of the store, but good to know for next time! I first heard about Paradise Smoothie at a Yelp Elite Event at Burn Boot Camp. I had been wanting to try them for awhile and finally got a chance to try them a week ago. My fiancé and I were looking for something quick and healthy. This was the perfect place. We were greeted by two cashiers. We were able to ask questions and they were able to help us out. We both decided to order the Superman. My fiancé decided to add banana to his, but I kept it pretty straightforward with apple juice as the base. Once we got our drinks, we were able to sign up for the rewards program. The shakes were very good and fulfilling. The customer service was great too. As you walk in they were very welcoming and friendly. I told them it was my first time here and they went over their favorites on the menu. "Trying to eat healthier" so I was looking for a smoothie place in the area. This place popped up so I decided to stop and check it out. I never knew this place even existed. The employee, who was friendly, said it's been there like 5 years. . I stayes in the area for years I was shocked. Anyway, it's not a huge building. Has a few chairs and doesn't feel cramped at all. I tried a large, Tropical Blast since it was my 1st time there. I aways try what seems like it couldn't be messed up before I venture out. She even gave a small sample too so I'd be sure it was what I wanted to leave with. That's a VERY underrated, HIGHLY appreciated gesture from any place. The smoothie itself was great. I went in to get me a smoothie one day. I had some hip pain and the owner Ron was telling me about this natural pain killer called Vye-Dre-Shun!! I ended up buying a 8 oz bottle of it because he said the more you drinking it the better it helps! Y'all the pain subsided and I woke up the next morning like the pain had never been there! Now my grandma has be buying her some every week to help with arthritis! This place is awesome! The owner just came into Planet Fitness and introduced himself. My friend said she's been before and that their healthy juices taste great. I checked them out after my workout and was so pleased with my Green Forest juice! They even have juices specifically for certain conditions like cancer, high blood pressure, and weight loss. They are a friendly married couple and it's a very nice establishment. They have a 100 score on the wall. They are conveniently located in the Kmart shopping center, just a short walk down from the gym, and have been open for a few weeks. Firstly, this place is Black-owned which is great! Secondly, their smoothies, juices and shakes are tasty and unique in combinations. Their protein shakes aren't vegan so I've never tried them, but they do offer a nice selection of protein powders--which is great since they are conveniently located next to Planet Fitness. I particularly love their fruit smoothies, like their Hello Mellow and their Mango Spice. Both super refreshing! Their smoothies are inexpensive (even if you get a large), and they also offer various energy/health shots and boosters. However...they lack professionalism. I can't count how many times I've driven to this place and they do not open on time. Like I totally understand if a business is like 10-15 minutes behind, but they sometimes will open an hour later. I once tried coming in at 8:30AM on a Wednesday (since they supposedly open at 8AM), and called the number provided on the entrance door thinking that maybe they were just setting up inside or something. The owner picked up the phone and I asked if this place was open today. His answer? "We open at 10 today." Dude, seriously? Where was the memo on the door or something? I've learned to never come by here in the mornings because more than likely they will not be open on time. I hope they will improve with this! read more

the employee was talking all her cellphone the entire time laughing. it took her 20 minutes to make a smoothie bowl. then she got the order wrong when I paid for extra stuff. I called them twice and they did not answer. the bowl was more of a juice it was watery. My husband and I decided to give this place a try today & we weren't too happy with the quality of the smoothies. My smoothie tasted like a healthy slushy (and if that's what you like your smoothies to taste like, then perfect) but basically ice and juice blended. We were looking for fresh fruit smoothies- made with fresh fruit. I usually feel full/satisfied after a healthy smoothie but this was just like having a cup of juice. My husband's smoothie was also mediocre. The barista poured his smoothie and it wasn't enough to fill the cup so she put it back in the blender and added more ice... basically stretching their products. Oh and my husband got a ginger shot which he said was watered down. I may give them another try (because I want to support my folks) but hopefully the quality is better (after quarantine). read more

When he called me to see what I wanted to order, the owner was informing him of a blend that was really good. Good meaning: flavorful, detoxing, protein, and a good balance of greens and fruits. I really love this place!!! I'm hooked!! They have so many good recipes that I always have trouble deciding what to choose! I've had several different juices and they were all good! The owners are extremely friendly. I've meet both of them. They told me that they were the new owners as of recently. You can tell that they are extremely passionate about their products and providing healthy food options. I'm also happy that they are on Grub Hub.
