I financed my IPL. Equipment with Paramount Financial services,the person who helped me in the whole process is Drew Kabo. Drew is a very professional ,very helpful and friendly person. He never ignored my emails or my calls even after the whole process was completed,always get back to within the same hour or two.unlike other sales people that as soon as you sign the contract ,they don t know you anymore. I used this company to finance my photo booth purchase. I've had an auto withdrawal for the monthly payments for over a year for the same dollar amount. Suddenly this month, I'm hit with an additional $100+ charge with no warning. They stated it's a property tax. Today I was asked to remove my review from a company representative. I read my thoughts I decided it was best to rewrite this review instead of removing this completely. During my call with said representative, my review had apparently made some noise with an upper level management team member (my assumption) as it was suggested that if my review was not removed there could be possible legal action taken on me. Ask yourself, is this a company you would like to do business with? Allow me to keep my thoughts vague, to the point, and simple. My experience with Paramount started two years ago with a lease on some equipment for my business. The contract had it's ups and downs but I from what I recall, the contract phase seemed rushed. My sales person didn't take the time to review options for me and being in the position I was in, I needed the equipment. The situation was enough for me to replay the series of events in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Shortly after my contract started, I received a letter that my contract was sold to a company called FinPac. The next 24 months I paid all my payments to new said company and confirmed at the end of my contract (that was explained to me sold) that my final payment was made and I would have to revert back to Paramount for further questions. I thought this odd as my contract was sold to another company and now I have to deal with the originally seller. Come to find out, after my final payment was made with FinPac, Paramount sent me a letter trying to continue my lease on equipment. Once I saw this letter come across, I sent an email immediately asking for an explanation and stated I'd my lease was done (so I've been told). The response was simple and direct without providing any assistance (at first) as to why. I was given three options which included an option for me to keep my equipment if I made a final and full payment. I'm lost here...I thought my contract had been sold? I asked for further details and was given an example of "have you had your mortgage sold to another company" suggesting this was similar to this experience. Odd to think a financial company would have the right to sell a contract but yet at the end of the contract reserve the right to continue the contract, after it's been sold?! This is where I'm lost and this no longer makes sense. Final result, I have decided to pay the final one month lease to end my contract with Paramount (so I hope) and move on. My worry at this point is, because my review is one star and I am an unsatisfied customer, will legal action be taken place on me or will Paramount take a moment, listen to my concerns and attempt to make me a satisfied customer? I'll happily update as necessary. read more

i called the sales department at paramount and spoke with a salesman named Craig Colling , i was trying to lease a peice of equipment (a printer ) for my business in California , we are a fairly new company but we have over $ 80,000 in collateral and assets and our personal credit was not bad whatsoever , also we dont owe a single penny to any of our vendors and we are making a good amount of money per month . i was informed that the situation was good and there should be absolutely no problem , with our $8,000 down plus our credit and income (our credit by the way was ran , reviewed, and discussed before they sent it to a THIRD PARTY ) i was not informed that it would be another third party that would actually be making the decision for them but infact i was told that it would be just sent over to their under writing dept for a quick review and then we could go on with the paperwork , NOT THE CASE , in fact they dont make any of the decisions they seem to be more of a middle man and not a good one at that , when the decision came back i was told it was turned down due to lack of credit and leins , which is impossible since we have got over 22 years of credit ,3 cars paid off and the only loans we have are our truck which has never had a late payment and a $42 a month merchant credit card machine lease ,also with out a single late payment ..... when i asked to speak to someone higher up i was given nothing but smart ass answers such as "well im the manager in the sales dept you can call me anytime " ... he was condesending , rude and unprofessional , i guess this company only leases to people with an 800 score on there credit !!! this is yet another prime example of whats wrong with this country today the rich get richer and the middle class are getting poor , i am so frustrated with this company and their lack of ability and lack of work ethic to try and make something happen , Had i known they were just going to screw me around and run my credit (which lowers your score ) i would never have made the effort to call them , paramount financial is a joke ........... read more
