Their food is always fresh and tasty, the service is usually top notch and the saje is probably the best shawarma you can get! Love that it's cut into pieces and put on the grill to make it crispy! The three dips are always a go to for us as a starter, and the spicy potatoes were quite tasty, though not spicy enough! It's a go to spot for me so I will be definitely coming back often! - the_halally

    Veggie pizza!

The veggie mashrooha (pizza) is always consistently delicious at various Paramount locations, including this one. Their wraps, kabob and falafel are amazing as well! Excited to try more of the menu. 5 stars especially because I appreciate the swift and easy delivery when ordering during this time. It's so lovely during Ramadan (and this time we got a free special treat!)

Authentic Lebanese food! My husband and I always always order a Yallah Special. It is basically an Arabic Poutine with fries as base, topped with Chicken Shawarma and oodles of Tahini and Garlic sauce. It is a pretty good deal for the price and I can never finish it by myself. It is an appetizer but we make it our main meal along with creamy and thick Hummus and freshly baked complimentary Pita. Being raised in Dubai I am pretty picky with my Lebanese/Arabic food and my way of judging the authenticity of a good Lebanese restaurant is by it's Garlic sauce and I am pleased to tell you that Paramount has the real deal people! #Lovemylebanesefood

If you like middle eastern food you must try the food here. With Arabic food, sharing is the way to go. We ordered a few appetizers; hummus, fattoush, Greek salad, baba ghanoush (not pictured), tabouleh (not pictured). The reason I love going here is because of the appetizers, they remind me of how my mom and aunts make appetizers; in the traditional Iraqi way. The salads are zesty and sour, which is very typical of Iraqi cuisine but it's so delicious. The ingredients are all very fresh. I highly recommend trying the hummus and tabouleh, they're addictive. For our main meal we ordered a giant mixed platter with a bit of every meat (lamb chops, chicken souvlaki, beef schnitzel, chicken schnitzel, beef kebab tenderloin, Iraqi beef kebab). This was so delicious, everything was cooked perfectly. If you only want to try one meat I would highly recommend trying the lamb chops, I could easily eat 20 of those. The schnitzels are quite popular amongst kids, I remember ordering those all the time and they still taste as good as I remember them. And of course all the sides are amazing (especially the fries). For dessert we had tea and creme caramel, a great way to end the night. This place is awesome, we'll continue to go here especially for events (they sometimes bring DJs). The place is very clean as well (bathrooms are spotless).

The space feels upbeat and is suitable for both casual meals and group gatherings. The menu features a wide range of Turkish and Lebanese dishes. We ordered "Fig Salad" and "Gul Gul Hot Mix Platter" for appetizer; aromatic and fresh. For entrée, we ordered "Mix Pide", "Gul Gul Special Chicken Shawarma" and "Mix Grill for 2". Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked and beautifully served. We ended our meal with "Turkish Coffee with Baklava" and "Turkish Tea". From vibes and friendly service to delicious food, Gul Gul offers them all.

For food, we had (1) the tabbouleh salad (this is essentially a parsley salad with tomato, onions, and it's quite tart/tangy - this was probably my fav dish), and (2) the mix grill platter for 2 (this had chicken, beef, fries, barley rice, peppers, tomatoes, pita bread, and garlic dip - this was very good as well and allows you to try a lot of different things). The service was also great - we had a small complaint on one of the chicken wings in our platter and the server came back and replaced it (and more), free of charge. We came here on a Friday night and was surprised by a live DJ who was playing music. The vibe here was super chill and fun on the Friday night, especially with the live music, dancing, and shisha. I'd definitely come back and try their other food items.

I'm visiting Toronto and wasn't sure what I wanted to eat for dinner so I headed to Yelp, read…read morereviews, and chose Palmyra. I'm so glad I did. This is a small, family owned establishment. The family was actually sitting down to dinner at the end of the day when I arrived approximately an hour before close. It was wonderful to see them eating together. I was immediately greeted by one of the employees. He was very friendly and allowed me to take my time. I wanted to try a falafel because I love to try several menu items. He accommodated that and allowed me to order a single falafel patty to try. I was stuck between choosing the Palmyra Platter or the Mixed Shawarma plate because, as I said, I like to try several items. I ended up choosing the mixed shawarma plate and ordered it as is. The falafel was crispy and I could taste the herbs mixed in. The sauce drizzled over the top was the perfect addition. I was so glad I tried it. I was so eager to taste it that I forgot to get a photo. I chose the mixed shawarma plate thinking it would be a more manageable serving for me to finish than the Palmyra platter. I was sorely mistaken. It was easily enough food for at least 2 people. This was well worth the price point. The salad was fresh and crispy with a good variety of vegetables in it. I really enjoyed the vinaigrette they used for it as well; just tangy enough. The chicken and beef were crispy on the outside and tender inside. They had good flavor and were not dry at all. The spicy potatoes were a tad spicy for me but I still ate them. The rice was ok in my opinion. I had enough left over to eat a second time. I will definitely visit here again on a subsequent trip so I can try more of their menu items. Overall this was a good experience for me.
