I just received a letter from Keystone basically dismissing me because with my recent near death…read moreexperience of having RSV and bacterial pneumonia at the same time which is deadly enough ,my lungs are destroyed because of Covid during the first go round when everybody was dying, I went to Keystone for help. They insisted I had asthma. I do not have asthma. I've never had asthma. I told them what they were hearing was my destroyed the lungs because of Covid but no, they know better because their doctors and prescribed for me a stupid steroid and an inhaler and told me just to take that and I'll be fine. Needless to say try taking the inhaler only for it to create a wet tornado in my lungs that caused me to choke so severely I had to be rushed to the hospital because I could not breathe. The following day I called them to tell them this and their response was there's nothing more we can do for you and hung up on me. Talk about shock and a slap in the face. I already knew this was a bad partnership. after being severely ill and hospitalized numerous times after seven weeks, I took it upon myself to search for a different primary care doctor. My 1 st complaint to them was when I had requested my own bloodwork. I was told they could not email it to me due to HIPA privacy laws . I had to physically go down there and pick it up, which is fine ;however, once I arrived at the office I walked in, just said hi I have some lab work to pick up. They handed me an envelope. Didn't ask me who I was or to see any ID how is this standing by the Hipa laws? I asked if they wanted to see ID they said no. I asked how do you know who I am "? they said you called ". I said how do you know it was me who called because you're handing over personal information blindly by someone who may not be the patient and then I was ignored. Patients be warned...

I was honored to work with them as my cousin was on hospice. He lived at the Eagle 1 hours for approximately 2 years and passed away Nov 17,2024 and the staff did not leave his side. The management and staff went above and beyond what was required of them. He was treated daily with kindness and respect and will say he was quite spoiled. In his last hours staff came in and said their goodbyes. These are precious memories. They were there on their off time and would come in just to spend time. The Administrator and Supervisor both came in the night he passed away. They are more like family now and would not hesitate to place someone in their care. Much appreciation to Dallas, Courtney, Candy, Britany and the staff at White Oak Hospice. You are all angels to me.

I have a parent that lives here. The facility at first was great and the managers were great-until…read moreyou lived there for a few months-they are now gone. The new managers are fine but if you complain they punish the residents by ignoring them. They describe their facility as "fine dining". They allow people to sleep with their head on a pillow on the table, residents to where slippers to the dining room, residents in "independent living" are in wheel chairs and need help getting to the table. It is obvious that Salmon Creek is not an independent living facility but now an assisted living and memory care facility without a certified nurse on staff like most facilities. I would not recommend to anyone looking for a good independent living facility.

There comes a time in your own life when you have to deal with hospice for a loved one. I have been…read morethrough it with my Dad and my oldest brother. Now it was time to see my Mom got the best possible care in the final stages of her life. Through the hospital we were hooked up with Keystone Hospice after efforts with palliative care were not enough anymore for Mom's emphysema. They were at the hospital quickly and talking to us about our options. Mom was in pretty rough shape, but she wanted to be home to die and once we relayed that to Keystone, they were on it. It took 24 hours to stabilize her enough for the ambulance ride from Boise to Nampa, but they got her home. Keystone supplied a bed, bedside table, wheelchair, potty-chair, and everything we needed to keep Mom clean and comfortable. A team of four people came to the house before Mom arrived and trained me on medications she would need and when to administer them. A case worker, social worker and religious support were all there to welcome Mom home along with a nurse. The days passed and Keystone never lost touch. At one point Mom complained about the air bed being more uncomfortable than the bathtub. I called and asked for another option, and they were there in a less than two hours with a foam mattress that made Mom happy. Mom saw her 89th birthday, which was a goal of hers. I had three more beautiful days with her before she passed one morning. A nurse was at my door within an hour and a few minutes and took care of Mom getting her ready for the funeral home. Losing a loved one is horrible no matter how you slice it, and I cannot thank Keystone enough for their magnificent work before, during and after hospice. These amazing people are your go-to in the Treasure Valley.
