Do not move here! None of your concerns will be addressed, I sent this email to the property manager October 6, 2023. Do you think they've cared to respond? Of course not, they receive their rent every month. Spiders are hanging from the breezeways and when you ask for pest control that we pay for they say they are going to pressure wash the breezeways, that was 2 months ago. What's the point of closing the exit gates when the entrance gates are open? We let anyone in but it takes longer for the residents to get out. Rent elsewhere

I lived at Windsor Sugarloaf for over 2 years and I'm happy to share my experience…read more Staff - the management team (previous and current) are professionals and seem to genuinely care about the residents. Parking - parking is generally not an issue but if you park between the building and the massive construction your car will be covered with soot every day. Parking lots were repainted last year and is billed monthly (see fees). Walking - this was one of the main selling points for me. The circular track that surrounded the green space has been destroyed so that an eye center can be built. Now the sidewalk ends in front of our property and creates issues with no sidewalk. Value - just like many places, the rent here is close to $1800 for a small 650 sq ft apartment. My rent was $500 less when I moved in and was raised every renewal. Fees - do not rent here without obtaining a fee sheet. You pay a monthly fee to park, to access amenities, for common area upkeep and common area utilities and also for trash pickup. These fees are mandatory and in addition to rent. Privacy - the layout provides a sense of privacy if you have the right u it on the right floor. Entry level (first floor) is best b/c you're on a slab, no stairs and your deck is raised. Find a unit with a 1 as the 2nd number. Safety - I felt safe living at Windsor Sugarloaf. The people are friendly and many have dogs. I never had a bad interaction with anyone in over 2 years. I had several packages disappear but believe that was likely a wrong address issue. Common areas - these are mostly underutilized from what I saw. The pool and gym are immaculate and maintained. The pet area had a complete makeover and is great for socializing dogs. Not so great - Be prepared for all manner of inspections. I had no idea there would be so many people coming into my apartment on a consistent basis. 3 fire inspections in less than a year, air filter change, light bulb changes, fridge filter change, smoke alarm inspections, dryer inspections etc.... I had people come into my apartment whether I was home or not at least every other month. This may be a concern for people living alone, with pets or if you're used to privacy. I recommend Windsor Sugarloaf as a family friendly rental option. The construction is an eyesore and the loss of the beautiful green space between the complex and the street is unfortunate and may be a factor for some people. There is an abandoned (yes, abandoned) building next door that used to house seniors with memory issues. No idea what will happen there but pay attention because that building connects to the complex via the back gate and walkway.

My experience dealing with Windsor-Sugarloaf has been good. I am pleased with the customer service…read moreI've received. Tia doesn't miss a beat either. She's professional, friendly and prompt. Thanks to the entire Windsor-Sugarloaf team for your efforts - they've been greatly appreciated!

Do not move here. I encourage everyone who has a bad experience with this property to report it…read moreeverywhere! We must warn people that the staff, especially Lisa do not care. Please believe the negative reviews and notice how they pick and choose who and how to respond to. This place truly is infested with insects as others have mentioned. I am one of many residents that they chose to not allow to the lease to be renewed because they wanted to renovate the apartments. We honestly put up with the issues in the apartment unit we stayed in for years and was intending to move out eventually, but the way they went about it was wrong towards me and so many other tenants. They overcharged us during move out despite us cleaning the units and any damage we visibly patched showing the effort we made and yet they bluntly lied during move out inspection and when we tried to dispute it they refused to make any changes. It was a shady business practice to jack up rent leading up to the move out and inflating the process during the move out inspection knowing the true reason they did it was to put that money towards the massive renovations they did on the units. I personally know the tenant who moved into our unit and the entire unit was completely renovated. You have been warned and don't be shocked if they end up responding to my review denying and coming up with false accusations to cover up their lies and mistreatment of residents.
