Charlie Lou's holds down what only a few places and the city can. Just opened for a week by the time I got over, they are mailing it early. I got the cheesesteak and fries, $10. And boy is it delicious. Exactly what you want in the sandwich of flavorful but not dry. Yet no so greasy I am wearing half of it. That's just the cheesesteak. I'll be back to try the full menu, especially the really good looking breakfast.

I went with a 12 inch, and was surprised to see when it came out that it was actually just two 6 inch sandwiches. This worked out great, because I only ended up eating half and was able to take the entire second 6 inch sandwich home for leftovers. Overall, the cheesesteak was delicious and the leftovers heated up really well. The STS sauce is kind of a mix between thousand island and chipotle mayo. Interesting, but good.
