For the price it couldn't be beat plus it had honey baked ham turkey, ham and bacon on it which is a steal of it's own - the meat from this place is so good. I will be back for sure. I ordered two sides of broccoli and a pecan pie, unfortunate they were out so I asked for cheesecake instead. To my surprise I was told I could not exchange my pie for cheesecake because the price point was not the same. I offered to pay the difference and I was refused this option after speaking to the manager. The manager would only allow me to exchange my dessert for another pie which all they had was pumpkin pie. My nephew has an allergy to pumpkin which is why I wanted cheesecake. Instead of the cashiers and the manager not willing to listen to my concern my nephew could potentially have an allergic reaction on Thanksgiving! Instead of being concerned of pricing in ever increasing costing world my concerns for my nephew's health is at risk all because of pricing. I'm giving this place a zero. Three times I ordered food only to find out when I got there nothing was ready. Two of the times were online order made at least an hour in advance. TriHealth gave all its employees a voucher for this place. I was extremely surprised to see a quarter ham as an option. I'm glad I was able to grab a quarter ham just in time before Thanksgiving. Customer service here was extremely friendly, professional and quick. I made sure to call over the phone first to see if they took my voucher and the lady knew right away what I was talking about and provided directions. I arrived and there was a LOOONG line, but luckily an employee came out and let all TriHealth employees go on a shorter, separate line. Lines went fast! The ham was great as always. It had a nice glaze to it and easy to cook. I recommend coming here to anyone looking to buy turkey/ham/sides for your next holiday dinner -- or for any special events. read more

I bought a quarter ham from the Kenwood store last Sunday (December 29th). Had it this evening (New Year's Eve) and it was almost inedible because it was so salty. I spent almost $70 for this ham and was nowhere near the quality of the ham I've purchased from HB Ham in the past. Very disappointing, won't buy another ham from HB again. read more

This Honey Baked Ham has excellent and friendly service!! Most people only stop in at major holidays like Easter or Thanksgiving but give them a stop the rest of the year. Even when there is a line down the street trying to pull in for their Easter ham, the staff here is kind and calm! read more

So I needed to pick up some certificates for my employees (as a late Christmas and New Years appreciation token) and decided to stop in at Honey Baked Ham. For the amount of certificates that I needed to purchase, the store manager waited on me. The employees were very friendly and courteous and they offered a corporate discount based on the size of the order. There was going to be an hour or so wait until the certificates were printed out and the manager even offered to drive down to Oakley (where my plant is) and personally drop them off. It was certainly refreshing to see some good ol' fashioned customer service! This location also offers individual sandwhiches and lunch plates as well as catering (I am uncertain if all locations offer this or not). They also gave me their lunch menus, catering information, and a coupon sheet that I included when we passed out the certificates. The only drawback, and it is very slight, is that the entrance and exits are not clearly marked and I accidedntally entered in through the exit. For future ham purchases, we will definitely be back and we may try them for a catered lunch in the near future. read more

Wow has this place gone downhill. I brought some family for lunch and to buy a ham for their visit and I was embarrassed I was raving about it on the car ride there. The place was filthy! So filthy we took our lunch to go. The sandwiches we no where near as good as I remembered. The worst part was I paid $80 for a ham that had no glaze. Just some burnt sugar where I hoped the glaze would be. I called to let them know and they wanted to argue with me about what the glaze was supposed to look like. Stopped by for lunch yesterday while in the area. near Trader Joe's. Place was empty at 1:30 but I got prompt and courteous service upon walking in. My BBQ ham stacker sandwich was tasty (and a little messy) as it was a toasted sandwich with honey baked ham, lettuce, tomatoes and onion and smothered in BBQ sauce. I stopped here one day for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I wanted something quick and relatively inexpensive and this hit the spot! I ended up getting the ham sandwich on a croissant and it was great! The ham was flavorful and the bread was soft and held up the sandwich well. The cut the sandwiches in half which I appreciate. This location is great if you just want a quick sandwich or to pick up a turkey or ham. However, the catering is a different story. I've placed a catering order for my work several years in a row. There is always a glitch. Not sure why, but I placed a catering order again this year. The process was: 1. Call the Kenwood location and no one answered the phone after several attempts. 2. Placed the order via online catering. 3. Called the store the next day to be sure they received the order. They asked me for the order again. They also told me that I would need to pay in person since I was paying with a gift card. 4. Went to the store in person to pay with gift card. Two people were at cash register trying to figure out how to process it. 5. Called day of scheduled delivery to make sure they were coming on time. Scott the manager put me on hold for 7 minutes and never came back so I called again. He had no record of the order. Seriously. Went to look again and put me on hold for 10 minutes more. Never came back to phone. 6. I then got in my car to go pick it up. Called from my car and got a woman that said could I give her the order again over the phone and they would make it up. Seriously. 7. Arrived to pick up order to be told that it was ready and the reason it was lost was "when you pay in advance, it goes to a different spot and we didn't see it." I then replied that maybe they needed a new system and Scott said "thanks for helping me do my job." Really nice. 8. Brought my order to my job only to see they shorted me 4 sandwiches. Never again. I wanted to try HoneyBaked Ham for the first time so I downloaded the app and got a free ham sandwich however when I went in to redeem my coupon I asked the cashier since the turkey was the same price of the ham could it be traded out she said yes then when it came time to pay the manager came and said nope even though my friend had just got her turkey sandwich instead of a ham sandwich taken off how come it was different for me the lady said the manager said that it couldn't be done which I know it could be because my friend just did it then she was like if you can't have the ham sandwich you're not getting anything so I disrespectfully left the store that is rude customer service! First time they were 45 min late, Called in order last Friday for 17 box lunches that was suppose to be here Monday at 11:30, now its 12 so I call concerned, person who answered the phone said she didn't see the order this morning, which was the same one I placed it with. Omg! How haven't I eaten here my whole life? Amazing fresh food with a friendly smile at this establishment. Clean lobby with a smell in the air that'll make you extremely hungry. The sandwiches here are all fresh, lite and hearty. I'd like to see one of these places in place of every McDonalds. Delicious healthy food! Please! Look at a ham salad recipe! It should be more than ground ham and mayo. Any recipe you look up includes sweet pickle; many also include chopped hard boiled egg, celery, onion, and a dab of mustard. This was a big disappointment. Add to that the fact that spiral sliced hams are available at any grocery now for a fraction of the price, and it's hard to see what's keeping this place in business, outside the 2 big ham holidays. I know their catering's dependably good, for office parties and such, but for a home party, it doesn't come close to home cooking. read more

I ordered catering from HoneyBaked Ham for an Executive Meeting on 9/16/15. As an Executive Assistant I frequently order and set up meeting lunches. I was told my delivery would be here between 11-11:30am. At 11:46 they arrived WITHOUT the meat tray. I had to tell the driver it was missing, he had no idea. When I did tell him it was missing, he says "oh that must be what was left in the refrigerator that no one knew who it belonged to." If there was an entire meat tray left at the store and no one knew who's it was, I would certainly be checking my truck to make sure everything for my deliveries was accounted for. The driver did go back to the store to get the tray. I called the store manager and was promised that he would be back in touch with me in regards to my lunch and I have yet to hear from anyone. I will never order from this store again. The Executive Meeting that was taking place had to eat their lunch in shifts after the meeting was over. It was an embarrassment. read more
