Our family has been a resource family (foster family) for over 10 years and this business has been by far the worst to deal and coordinate with. The new ownership is terrible. The CEO (Kelly Malloy) is horrible to communicate with and downright abusive at times. She places the parents rights (keep in mind they are the ones that lost their children in the first place) above the children. Makes no effort to be flexible and has even threatened to cancel the kids visits due to us questioning their visitation protocols. I truly miss the last ownership. We had no issues for 3 years and now it's just a nightmare. Avoid at all cost and if the county/state assigned you here, plead to get moved elsewhere. Mary Ann is absolutely amazing! she is kind and nurturing and you can tell that the minute you meet her!!! She is has good positive energy, just this easy breezy, comforting and always welcoming way about her. I always look forward to my visits each week but she really has made this very uncomfortable/awkward situation much easier for both my daughter and I. This center is completely unprofessional and bias. They seemed fair and clean. Then bam they took my money and it's all a joke. I was offered one time and I agreed and then was informed they offered me a time with no supervisor and changed it to another time without telling me till 8 pm the night before the appointment was scheduled. I own my own company and I would never in a billion years offer a client a time that I wasn't sure was available, and I surely wouldn't wait until 8 pm to inform them of the time scheduled for the next day. I do not recommend this provider unless you have no employment and no life because they are 100% not professional at all! Update this facility is bias and retaliates when you stand up for yourself. The center was texting me at 9:30pm arguing with me over the professionalism of her services, and now she retaliates due to me filing a complaint with the BBB about her facilities professionalism! I started my visit with my daughter at this facility. At first it seemed or seem inviting and great. But a year into me being a client. The staff/visit facilitators are so unorganized. Half of the time they ask me for payment again which if you were to see prior to my arrival I have paid. In advance. There internet Wi-Fi is seldomly working. Oh like I prior mentioned I have been with parenting time for over a year now and just 3 weeks ago. I was searched, which is fine., they usually do. But this day the facilitator searched me with a metal detector wand, making me feel like a fugitive, so uncomfortable . I also let the facilitator know how I felt. She just had nothing to say. I understand but should have been done from the beginning and I would have not felt like so, with that being said, if these were or are the rules & protocols then it should have been done from the beginning is all I'm stating. On two occasions with two different facilitators my daughter was extremely uncomfortable and she was honest about it. She's 13 years old. This prompted me to seek out a new facility. It's just. Difficult because I'm not familiar with the Sacramento. just yesterday I received a schedule with fees increase. I'm looking elsewhere not happy!! read more

As the reviews show, they do not care about children and merely about a paycheck. Unfortunately, due to the action of the other parent we are forced back here. We were here a few years ago and I had a restraining order. They did nothing to keep me or my child safe, and repeatedly forced us to violate the restraining order. The father was so bad they eventually terminated our contract. They're letting us back now because they only getting about their money. I'm working hard to get us to a new facility. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! There are better, cheaper, safer, more professional options. They also are extremely biased! They omit things in their reports to fit a certain narrative. Seems like they support the toxic parent and have it out for the healthy parents. That's my experience and looking at these reviews, the experience of others!! In 8 years they haven't changed. SMH. I want to thank Parenting Time for their participation in our family's situation. I have read many of the reviews including the one from the noncustodial parent involved in our case. What concerns me is that anyone can write anything about any company that they want when they are unhappy with the results of their situation. We were not always happy with what transpired in the visits with our children and the other parent. We were not happy when mistakes were made or visitation times were confused. These things happen. This is a company that works with a highly volatile matter. They work with Angry people who don't like each other, who have to try and get along enough to see their children, hopefully for the right reasons. Not always. They have to work with Mom's schedule, and then Dad's schedule, and then the supervisor's schedule and sometimes the kid's schedule and no one wants to cooperate because no one thinks they have to. SO the facility gets blamed. I know for a fact, one of the reviews stated that the customer came here for six months and then after one month somewhere else went to Unsupervised visits, insinuating it was due to the incompetency of this facility. That was a false statement. That particular customer is STILL on supervised visits and will stay there as long as they choose to make poor choices and put their children in harms way. I didn't always agree with the way certain situations were handled and yes some mistakes were made, but I have to say that being involved in this kind of family matter, I believe this facility kept their professionalism and has conducted themselves as well as could be expected. Someone will always be pissed off. We are all dealing with a very sensitive situation, but I don't think this facility has made it worse. I do believe they have tried to make it a little better. My family has been involved in this situation for over 10 years and it can be much worse. I thank Parenting Time for their participation in our family's matter. By the way, the non-custodial parent that complained about them, is the one who insisted we use them to begin with. They simply did their job. I am very grateful for parenting time. We have several years of experience with them now and they help make what used to be a very stressful situation much easier. They recently changed ownership and the new owner is sweet as pie. She has made a beautiful, clean and safe space for my child to visit his father. There are many different rooms to choose from , upon availability. There are age appropriate rooms for infants all the way up to teens. My son is a teen now so he really enjoys the room with the video games. He always looks forward to his visits there. They have really made an effort to create a comfortable, homelike environment. There is a park across the street and places to eat. They even get to walk up to the street faires and events that are hosted on Taylor road, weather permitting. I felt that Alex was always inappropriately dressed, treated me like a prisoner, and when I tried to find a new agency I was advised by several agencies that they were getting a lot of Parenting Time's clients come to them. The staff was bias. The manager was extremely rude. The prices are outrageous. Their location is hard to find. Also, when I went at my scheduled time, no one was in the office. My ex is driving with my children on a suspended license. I asked for that to be documented for family court, they refused and was extremely rude. This service is amazing. The facility is comfortable and spacious, very welcoming for families. The staff are top-notch; they establish ground rules to keep everyone on the same page and create a calm space for meetings to take place without drama. This place was a nightmare from the first orientation. Telling me to lie to my children if they ask me what's happening or why they can't spend time with me. When I responded that I have never lied to my children, the manager Chelsea immediately responded that I wouldn't be able to have any visits with them. That was within the first 15 minutes of walking in the door. I continued from that point on to be consistently bullied and threatened from then on. My visitations with this company lasted almost 10 months and during this time they did nothing but humiliate me by talking about my case among themselves while I was in the other room and when I tried to make a complaint, again the threats would continue. "It doesn't sound like you are going to be able to have visits anymore then" is the response I would receive. After months and months of trying over and over again to swallow my pride I actually had 2 people follow me out of the business and take the time to sit down and write out a witnesses statement to what they saw happen. I was in tears.They will not answer a phone call but only text, which is ludicrous. On my child's birthday I called 2 days prior to clear bringing them gifts which I risked bringing anyway since I had been given no response, they wanted to refuse me in giving my children sealed toys that clearly were not tampered with. Eventually they terminated my visits because they said I was rude and threatening, I have every correspondence to prove this is not the case at all. The real reason being I would not be bullied further and requested the owners contact information which I never received, only a termination text message. There are many more examples of incredibly unprofessional behavior but I don't have the time to write them all down. Please, do not go here. The manager Chelsea will do whatever she has to do to make you the villan. The fact that you are in this already tough position will only be made worse by these lying self serving people. They will manipulate the things you say or do. They will remove entire conversations from the interactions you have. They will say we never got a text when clearly they did. They will even lie in their reports to the court stretching out your requirment for their involvement in you case. Please find another place, as not only you but your innocent children will suffer more than they have. If anyone knows the contact info for the owner of this business please let me know. Since termination of my visits there is have requested this information 3 times in the 10 days to which I have received only the text, you are no longer a client. Do not contact us again. Parenting time was clean and spacious there're many amenities. The problem I have was they allow the children to have ear buds in both ears the entire time therefore subverting the order for mandated and supervised visits. Furthermore as a business take place in a home within the rooms within the home whenever I visit occurred the children were encouraged to roam about the premises unaccompanied by a monitor therefore also subverting the mandate of the court. When I question this I was told we can't make the children feel uncomfortable or make them visit with you or talk to you. I said yes I agree and understan since I'm paying hundred dollars to visit my precious children that they would at least be in the same vicinity and the possibility a visitation what exist. It seems to me like this as a legislation issue. The laws in place or Prozac and do not reflect modern electronics. They should also stipulate that the child be in the same room as the parent. I did supervised visits here for about 6 months right before they moved. Didn't get me anywhere was just a total waste of time and money. The visit reports were not helpful and the staff were obviously and totally bias towards the custodial party. They would omit entire pertinent conversations but include every time we coughed or sniffled or tied our shoes. The "progress notes" I paid for had text messages selectively deleted. They constantly mix my name up with the other parties name and document the times and dates and other details incorrectly. One time, Chelsea sent me an entire 30 days of the WRONG families progress notes, including their personal details, "private and confidential" conversations, texts, etc. She tried to blame it on Microsoft and said she'd send me a copy of the letter from them when she received it but never sent me anything or apologized. Totally incompetent! They also raised my rate and only gave me one day prior notice. The place stinks like mildew probably has toxic black mold growing in the walls or something. Besides all that, they're ok. I would not recommend them. I've moved on to somewhere else and after only one month I got unsupervised visits. Six months of visits at Parenting Time didn't so anything to help me or my family they dragged it out forever and got me nowhere! read more
