I was scheduled weekly for care, but had a family member in critical health so I had to cancel three appointments in a row, all of which was done with plenty of notice. Once my issue was resolved I called daily; sometimes even twice a day to attempt to reschedule and my calls were never returned and I'd get a random text with an appointment time that I never made. I would even say in my messages how many messages I've left and not even a single effort to return my call. I can't speak for any care received as I was only ever to been seen there for an initial visit. Very disappointing for our community and care,'if you have any other option at all- I'd suggest anywhere but Burger Physical Therapy!

My 20 month old son was recently diagnosed with Autism and he's had over 5 evaluations for…read moredifferent things just in the past month. After his Occupational Therapy evaluation at Kaiser he was denied therapy because he was "delayed, but not delayed enough." Knowing that my son could really benefit from OT therapy, I contacted the Alta Regional Center who referred my son to Monica at Little Bird Courage Company for an evaluation. She came to our home this past Tuesday and was with us for over 2 hours. She is extremely knowledgable and worked very well with my son. He was tired and fussy and she gave him all of the time he needed. She also took the time to explain a lot of things about our son that we did not know, like why he did certain things and how we can help him modify negative behaviors. I really appreciate the time she took to explain my son's behaviors to us because in all of the evaluations he has had no one ever tried to help us gain a better understanding of my son's ASD and Monica did.

His bedside manner is always phenomenal and treats you like family. He listens and is super patient with us and my daughter who has a genetic disorder and epilepsy. Their EEG tech-so sorry I forgot her name, she is also incredible. Usually my daughter fights when they put eeg wires on but with her, my 6 year old daughter is mostly calm because EEG tech is so sweet & friendly- she's also super fast and efficient that it's a breeze when my daughter has to get her wires on and get taken off with her. The girls in the front are always fast when it comes to paperwork and giving messages to Dr. Raina- they are always polite & friendly. They understand there is a need to get out of bed and try every day to improve or at least continue to be functional at the level they have attained. Physical therapy helps keep the mind to be more alert and able to process and communicate more effectively. It helps prevents infections and bed sores by not remaining in bed for hours at a time with no movement.
