I just tonight went on the Midnight in Paris on Wheels tour. First off-- Nicolas was so great to communicate with for booking and confirming the tour. It was easy to contact him by email or Facebook. When you are coming from out of the country, that makes all the difference. Very much appreciated. He incorporates a mix of history, culture, and interesting tips into his tours. We did the photo package, and he honestly made us feel like celebrities. I mean, who doesn't like (or deserve that) every once in a while, especially on a trip to Paris?! It was well worth the money. His friend, Tsil, was on our tour taking photos as well and was so friendly/talented/professional. We were lucky to have them both. This is a straight-up ZESTY tour. It's got flare and funk and is a great way to see the city.

This is the best way to experience Paris. Nicolas is an…read moreabsolute gentleman and an encyclopedia on everything Paris. And his ride is special, something you will fall in love with instantly. The latest addition of a see through roof ensured that we were cozy for the midnight ride during the beautifully lit cold evening in Paris for the new years. Nicolas picked us from our hotel and so began the joy ride. He made sure he took us to the landmarks in Paris but along the way he revealed the secrets of the local nook and corner of the city. Every time we stopped by one of the many gorgeous remnants of Paris's history, Nicolas took candid pictures of us. Very quickly we realized how popular Nicholas is in Paris. So if you have any questions at all or need suggestions, ask him. We were also given a fine bottle of champagne which we enjoyed by the Eiffel Tower at the stroke of midnight as it sparkles for one last time for the day. Can you beat that? Ofcourse! We then stopped by a local creperie to devour the best crepes in Paris. Did I fail to mention the looks you get all along as you drive through Paris. It's as if the car is the darling of the city. I highly recommend the midnight tour, be it your first time in Paris or your 10th. I guarantee that you will stumble on something new thanks to Nicolas. You will not regret it. Until next time friend... Au revoir!

Francois was our tour guide. He was wonderful! He showed us a GRAND time around Paris. We only had 3 days in Paris and the scooter tour gave us a taste of all the beautiful landmarks. We love Francois so much we decided to tour the next 2 days with him by foot. He was able to take us to all the places we wanted to go to and more!! He took us to the best ice cream place in Paris! You can bank on that. He was very knowledgeable, kind and patience. He has great photography skill so you're guaranteed to have great photos in Paris. He's also a foodie so he'll show you all the best places to eat in Paris, like a local. He saved us so much time and trouble. You will not regret your time with him. The Highlight of our Trip!…read more Our original thought was to book a two hour evening tour to see the lights of Paris and as a means to get back to our hotel in the 6th from Bistrot Paul Bert in the 11th. What we got was so so much more. Yves picked us up right on time and took us on a wonderful cruise of the backstreets and boulevards of Paris. First stop, we wound our way through the back streets to Montmartre, Pigale and Sacre Coeur to see the panorama of Paris by night. A mass was being conducted while we were there, and of course, being Paris, Yves served us Champagne to better take in the view. A little note about our little car the Citroen 2cv. What a marvelous way to see Paris on a clear evening. With its open top it allowed the cool evening air in and the view of the city to envelop us. And very comfortable indeed. We continued through the city: le Opera, the Marais, The Pyramid of the Louvre, Place Vendome, all the while Yves pointed out historic monuments, restaurants and bars to try and the history of Paris. And speaking of Yves -- what a kick! Always smiling and waiving to people, locals and visitors alike -- you could see their eyes light up and their smiles burst as we drove by waiving back at us -- or I should say back to Yves, our ambassador of goodwill for the evening. He said it was the car -- but it was him! The man's personality is infectious. Just before being dropped off at our hotel, Yves took us down along the Seine, among the picnicking locals and the boats -- magical.

He picked us up at our hotel, asked what we wanted to see, came up with a realistic route for our hour, and away we went! Along the way he gave us commentary and answered questions - very friendly. At that time of night, traffic had lessened and we saw a lot. Cruised by the Eiffel Tower and stopped to get pictures. Flew into the center of the traffic circle around the Arc de Triomphe. Cruised down the Champs de Élysées lit up for Christmas. Stopped for a bit outside the Louvre. Passed by the Opera House. And finally stopped at Notre Dame. Then back to the hotel. Friend and I had tried to book a tour last time we were in Paris, but they were sold out. That was in summertime and I can imagine how fabulous it would be then with the top down. It was still lovely in December with the top up. This time we booked about a month in advance and know it will be something we'll want to do again on future visits.
