I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a nail salon. From the beginning, the technician was extremely aggressive--he kept forcefully pushing my hands down, which made me tense and very uncomfortable the entire time. I showed them a reference photo of exactly what I wanted, and the final result looked nothing like it. When I politely brought this up, the situation only got worse. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the owner grabbed my arm and dragged me over to another customer to "explain" the nails in front of them, which was incredibly inappropriate and humiliating. I continued to calmly express that I didn't like how thick and poorly shaped the tips were, and the owner suddenly became hostile. She started yelling at me, refused to fix the issue, and ultimately kicked me out of the salon. As I was leaving, she followed me outside, continuing to yell and act disrespectfully. When I mentioned I would be leaving a negative review, she escalated even more. This was not only unprofessional, but completely unacceptable behavior. No customer should ever be treated this way. I appreciate the fact that Daisy dedicates a hour to every pedicure and take her time! I love talking to her she's so sweet! Absolutely ridiculous experience. I called ahead and the lady was very kind on the phone, saying she could take me for a simple manicure and pedicure with gel. Once I arrived, the service took over 2.5 hours for something very basic, and she charged me $180 -- cash only! What joke! She justified the price by saying she uses "high-quality products," yet there were no signs anywhere showing prices or mentioning that it's cash only. This is not Los Angeles or Carlsbad, and I've been to many salons in Carlsbad where I've never paid more than $90 for the same service -- and I always leave generous tips. She said my skin (legs) were very dry and she did extra moisturizing and my fingernails were thin and weak. She painted them with a keratin nail hardener and top coat. I came in yesterday for a regular pedicure and a dip manicure and I'm so happy with how my nails turned out! Daisy really took her time and made sure the dip was well done and not too thick. This is the best place I've gone to in Fallbrook or Oceanside for dip. I can't remember the last time someone actually took the time to make sure my nails were perfect. My aunt had an appointment here with Ann (as confirmed in the text messages shown) and upon arrival, we were met with very hostile push back that we never made an appointment. We even showed her the text messages to confirm that we indeed had an appointment and rather than just apologizing and offering to reschedule us, Ann and the rest of the salon (workers and patrons alike) were verbally abusing us, telling us to get over it, "stop making it awkward and just leave". Ann insisted that "she never confirmed the appointment" - but why would she need to re-confirm an appointment for a time slot she provided? The whole thing was just baffling. Wish I could give no stars. Very disappointed in the service and outcome of nails. I showed a picture of what I wanted but was talked out of It because they didn't have the color or type of sparkle I wanted and showed me three different options to pick from instead. I decided I just wanted black with purple sparkle but Her husband tried to tell me that it wouldn't look good and that I should do black French tip instead. He was very rude and kept complaining about how small my hands were and asked why I'd even get them done because they looked like baby hands. He proceeded to pull on my hand and roll it around telling me to loosen up and kept tapping my hand when we wanted me to move it or give him another finger instead of telling me. He was too rough and made my ring finger bleed. After the first coat he had me put my hand in the uv light to dry and when I brought them out and he tried to do clear coat it smudged and said it was my fault. I began to cry because I just felt like nothing was going right or how I wanted. Daisy came over and tried to finish what he started but She started arguing with me and telling me why I shouldn't be crying and that all her customers are always happy and going on about her good reviews. She raised her voice and Just kept trying to prove a point, very unprofessional. And to top it all off it was $80 and that's because she was giving me a discount for being unhappy.. yea right. I was visiting Fallbrook from out of state. After checking around - I found Paris nails on the web and went for a regular manicure. When I arrived - the door was locked and there was a sign: " by appointment only ". Decided to leave - but they opened the door and let me in... They were not friendly but took me without appointment. Place looks nice but weird feeling. Shock #1: Lady sent me to wash my hands... I am thinking if I'd do pedi - I had to wash my feet too? Shock #2: They didn't tell me they take cash only. What if I've had no cash on me after it's done? Hmmmm.... Shock #3: Plain manicure $40 I was laughing all the way back home... it's not NY or LA!!! This place is the worst. I've lived in Fallbrook for over 15 years and I've never had service such as this place. First she charges $90 for a basic pedi. And $70 for a fill. She justifies it by saying this is a "high-quality", however they don't take my high-quality credit cards. She adds that she put roses in my water. I'm not paying $90 for rose water. All I wanted is a basic Manny/pedi, but I'm charged $160 for a basic Manny/pedi. And that's after she rebutted my price inquiry with "this is with discount. I discount you!" . So the discounted price was $160. I think she tried to take advantage of the fact that I drove up in a dope car and I had a bunch of cash in my pocket. I wanted to try out this new place however, I think I will be sticking to my go to Place in Fallbrook, which is cuts 2000 nails, where I've been going for the last 15 years, it's only three minutes from this new grand opened nail shop called Paris. I ended up still giving her a fat tip for just sticking my feet in rose water for 30 seconds. This place is a joke and I highly do NOT recommend this new nail shop and they look like they needed the service and the cash. I was gonna pay the $160 until she got an attitude with me for commenting on the fact that she doesn't take my high quality credit cards for the so-called "high-quality" service she says they provide. she obviously did not know that I am the nail review queen here in Fallbrook! This is what I do for a living. I write for the newspapers from here to Mexico. What type of "high-quality" business does not take high-quality credit cards? Number 2, if you're so high-quality, why don't you take any high-quality credit cards? She adds There's a bank across the street. Well, that's not my bank. And if there is a bank across the street, it should be easier for you to take credit cards. I was even going to pay the cash until she got an attitude and damn near kicked me out for commenting about them not taking high-quality credit cards for their so called "high quality" service. Unfortunately I must leave a 1 star review. I'm not a Yelp Troll, or in other words one to unnecessarily complain- I'm very easy going. Although let me tell you, this one is worth sharing. First complaint is that the owner Daisy and a customer began arguing loudly at each other in the salon. The way in which Daisy handled the situation was really terrible. She raised her voice and extremely reacted when the customer said in a normal tone she has to leave for her appointment and can't wait any longer. Now it was only me and one other customer there that had to be in the middle of it all, very annoying. After the argument fizzled out the customer left saying "I don't want to argue with you daisy". Then daisy comes storming over to me and the other customer with her phone trying to show us the text messages between them about the appointment "it wasn't my fault, look!" Again very disrespectful and inconsiderate to her customers, trying to get our opinion and have us validate her being "right". There are only two people working, Daisy and her husband and in my opinion they are over-worked and don't have enough time to really focus on each customer. They are trying to squeeze in customers because they aren't charging a price that fits their needs, therefore they're frustrated (particularly Daisy). Second complaint (refer to attached photos) is that my manicure was not done well. The polish was not applied all the way down to bottom of nail- there is a gap where you can see my nail underneath. Even on the sides of my nail it was not applied all the way on. It looks as though I got them done a week ago and they have grown out already. On another nail it is applied very thick (also pictured) not smoothed out evenly. Third complaint is that I picked out my nail color and what Daisy applied to my nails was not the same. Now I'm a flexible person but the color is way off. The base color is more on the Orange/ bronze side when I picked out a champagne light gold with silver sparkles over it. She got the silver sparkles correct, not the color underneath. Now I love my toenails, she did well there. Overall it looks as though I paid $70 for a pedicure and screaming in my ear. When really I should have gotten paid for this. Will not be returning! read more

"Stop moving I already told you" "this is why I don't like nails" etc. and on top of that he was so rough and literally botched the design she had requested. She originally was going to ask for a design she found on pintrist that looked really good but they said it would be really hard to do by hand so my girlfriend being the angel she is was all onboard for them to use their little nail stamps and even Called me and told me that she was looking forward to how they'll turn out, and then the rude ass man came up and ruined the whole experience. First, booking: it was very simple. I called in the morning and spoke with Daisy who booked me for the same day in the afternoon. I asked about pricing and told her I needed gel pedicure removed and application of a gel mani/pedi. She quoted me $100, but said the price might change if I wanted designs, etc. She was polite and informative. Upon arrival, parking was simple and the shop was clean and well designed; French music played softly in the background-- very on theme. There's no chemical smell, only fragrance, which is amazing! I was welcomed in by Daisy (masked- awesome!) who was working on another client (also masked- even more awesome!), and she immediately knew I was her 3pm appointment. She told me to go wash my hands (a practical suggestion that I honestly- and perhaps worryingly- haven't seen before at other salons) and have a seat in a pedicure chair. When I came out of the bathroom from washing my hands, she had already set me up with the gel swatches to pick a color while she finished up with her client. Everything went pretty smoothly and the mani/pedi was done in an hour. I will take away a star, though, for the pretty frequent complaints from Daisy about my nails. At first, it seemed like she wanted to manage my expectations, which is fair: she told me gel manicures chip more quickly on shorter nails, and the application process takes longer because polish can get on the skin more easily, so she the technician has to go more slowly than they might with longer nails. I get that she doesn't want complaints from customers who don't realize this, fine. But this line of commentary kept up throughout the whole hour of my appointment, to the point where she said shorter nails don't look as beautiful as long nails and can cause heart problems (??). I suppose it was meant to be helpful, but at a certain point I just felt like it was a bit over the top. I'm the one who has to live with the short nails; I can't do anything about them (and I prefer them this way!)... why go on and on about them? Not a deal breaker, but worth reducing from 5 stars to 4. As far as the outcome, I like my (short ) gel mani/pedi and they look nice. The original $100 phone quote was accurate, as I got plain polish with no design. Payment is cash only, but the salon is across the parking lot (like, 100 feet) from a Union Bank ATM, so that's no problem. Would I come back?
