I really wanted to like this place. Gave them two tries with the mani and both had them peeling in under 2 weeks and as the grew out had a ridge along the base that catches on clothes and such. On the flip side my pedi from my first visit still looks great. The salon is a bit run down and a little on the unclean side. read more

Had a pedicure scheduled for 2 PM, and a very friendly Mary brought me back to my salon chair right away. Selections for type of pedicure were all priced reasonably. My feet are somewhat hyper-sensitive. I want a thorough pedicure but I don't want to be roughed up, nicked or bleeding during it. Mary was perfectly thorough and never caused me to flinch. 5 stars for Tina... But Kelly is horrible. She can not shape, she hurts her customers, does not take her time, and they come out super thick! My mother and I made an appointment for both our hands and toes. The wait time was horrible even with an appointment. I showed her a picture of something I specifically wanted and she said she couldn't do it. I asked Kelly if she could do a coffin shape. She said she would try. In the end she kept shaping my nails until there was no nail left and I had to pull my hand away because she still kept wanting to try. I WAS ALREADY BLEEDING. Fast forward to the end of the visit as I was walking to my car half of my ring finger on my right hand wasn't even done correctly! Half the acrylic wasn't even on my finger. It looked as if she missed a part of my actual nail... and instead of fixing it she wanted TO KEEP BUFFING MY ACTUAL NAIL AWAY. I taught okay never coming back here again but my mom had Tina and her nails came out perfect.... Fast forward to today my mom took my sister to get her nails done and they both got Kelly since Tina wasn't there. She was overwhelmed by the amount of people There, she cut my sisters cuticles to the point she is bleeding. Was going back and forth with customer (handling toes and other fingers) WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS ? My mom also had an eyebrow appointment the same day and Kelly said she didn't know how to do eyebrows but she would try. THANK GOD my mom is a smart women and decided against it. Tina did such a great job taking care of my nails! She's definitely a 5 star manicurist! I had been unhappy when I first came in with the shape that was left by the last salon I visited. And Tina cut them down to a pretty length and shape to allow the regrow to happen naturally. In hindsight, I wouldn't leave the glitter un-buffed. It keeps getting caught on my hair and clothing. But, it looks so super cute! I would also very much like this salon to have a larger selection of dipping powder colors. The minus 1 star is simply for color selection available in my preferred manicure method. The salon is clean, it doesn't smell of chemicals, and the parking is ample outside. read more

Okay.. So they did a good job with my nails.. Kelly was really nice BUT super expensive!!! I got a full set but one nail keeps getting stuck on everything because it has a corner chip!! I also had my toes done and asked for tge basic pedi that is supposively $15. I asked for Gel and they said its another $15 plus white tip for $5. Didn't say how much until the end.. But the amount came out to $35 more than their deluxe.. Didn't get a massage or anything.. I didn't want one but charging me more than the services... Ill be honest.. I thought I would go try a new nail salon after work, it wasn't too busy for a Friday. I wanted a new set, stiletto shape, and an ombré effect/dipping powder. I even showed her a picture! I told her this when she asked me what I wanted as soon as i sat down. Then we get to the process of shaping the nails and she made them almond. Then told me i should have told her that i wanted stiletto before she cut the length of my nails and proceeded to give me the nail file to do it myself. She didn't use dipping powder how i asked. I love coming here, I usually get mani and pedi and I see Tina, she is really creative, if you have a design idea she can nail it!... get it? Anyway, since she's usually busy. I had the honor of having Kelly do my fill and color. I loved the was she was super gentle and worked with me during my pedi. She and the rest of the ladies are always nice. And they have lots of clients they know their usuals. I was referred by my coworker Ari, and she was right about this place. I found a new nail place I am happy to share. The pedi, is real nice. They usually have a special you just have to ask. Recommendations for new people: basically make an appointment and be courteous. People with an appointment will usually be seen first and that's anywhere you go. If you have a group or a plus one, it's best to make appointment. Update: I got a pedi done last Monday. I have a toe skin infection. I just finalized this review and took a photo moments before realizing I had a white spot on corner of my toe. Which turned out to be a pus bubble.. Came here yesterday with a friend who always gets her nails done by Tina and from what I see they always look great. Last time my friend went in she had to get her nails by Kelly (Tina was busy) and Kelly cut her hands up when doing a gel manicure. I went along with my friend and had to see Kelly, not knowing at that point that was the one that cut my friends nails up! Anyways she cut my skin on 5 fingers! Today they hurt even worse! Also she was extremely rude the entire time even though I didn't complain once about her cutting me. Told me to pick a color. I picked a color and when she asked me which one and I told her. Then she says "well I can find one that is close to that but is not exactly the same, we don't know which ones go with the names" then I said well the color has a name right on it and my friend is getting the same one and the name of the color is on the box. She's goes "oh". What?! ... then she does my toe polish change. She puts about 4/5 coats on which by that time I'm wondering how the hell they are going to dry. So I sit about 20 mins. As soon as I move I notice the color had pooled in the bottom corner of my nail. I nicely asked if she can fix it. She rolls her eyes and says it's because of the color I picked. Those colors just do that. I said ok no problem maybe just do like 2 and I'll be happy as long as it dries. She got pissed and started complaining to another woman there Tina in another language so then Tina comes and fixes it for me. I got a full set and a nail polish change and I was there for 2 1/2 hrs! Place is dirty bathroom is nasty. DONT go to kelly unless you want to over pay for an attitude and cuts all over your hands. Tina does decent work but You couldn't pay me to go back. Nightmare Update: Not even 7 days later and the gel polish has already started peeling off 2 nails and one is cracking off. Others are starting to lift also. Horrible!!! read more

This is also one of the few nail salons in this part of Vista where my nails don't lift. They also are the perfect thickness, not too thin and not too thick. This was my first time at Cee Cee Nails and overall the experience was good! [side note: I don't usually go to get my nails done but I had gotten a certificate for my birthday]. I got there when they opened at 9am and got seated right away. My nail tech was Mary and she was super sweet and complimentary to me. I got a gel manicure which ended up costing $26 and was there for approximately an hour. I found it relaxing to not worry about anything else but the work that was being done. I did notice why some of the other reviews are negative. One of the girls was double booked and when her first appointment wasn't there she took the later appointment which was not professional but she must be worth the wait because it didn't seem to bother the first girl that much. All in all I enjoyed my experience and if you get there early there should not be much of an issue with the wait. read more
