I'm quite shocked at all the extremely negative reviews. I have been going there for years. I used to go to Tu, when she told me she was leaving permanently I asked who I should get to do my fills. It's really on me for not leaving when I sat down and saw a yellowed random false nail sitting on the filthy manicure desk. I also should have left when the tech started clipping off my gel extensions -- taking my nail tips with them! -- and letting them fly across the room. And I really, REALLY should have left when she nicked me with the drill, held up my hand and said "oh you have a hangnail." I sat for 45 soaking in cold water, they would not even give me a towel to dry off so I walked out with wet feet! never to return.

Truth be told: they don't even deserve one star, they did a terrible job, and when I told the lady what I wanted (which is what I always get done) she was all confused and basically just did whatever she wanted. And when I spoke up and said that wasn't at all how I wanted them, she just kept doing what she was doing and the shape and length weren't even and weren't at all what I wanted and I paid 71 dollars for this crap, and they refused to give me a refund or even redo them, never giving them another dime read more

When you make an appointment, you go on and they start soaking your feet for an hour. While you're getting your feet soaked in the cold water, walk-ins will come in and multiple ones will somehow get full service ahead of you. So why even make a f"@$ing appointment? Horrible experience. Nails done quickly, with no attention to detail and acrylics came out uneven and not looking good. Me and my friend both had the exact same manicure done and she was charged an extra 10$ just because she used debit. I highly do not recommend. Rude staff with clearly no people skills at all-except with other staff workers. Talking and yelling in foreign language, causing me and my friend to feel quite uncomfortable. Friend went away with a burn on her finger as the lady doing it was looking and talking to another staff member while using the electric file and not paying attention. Girl didn't do half the manicure. Shaped my nails poorly and was extremely rough with me. She actually held my hands down in a bowl of acetone. I couldn't pick a colour properly because I was really rushed. I wouldn't go back. read more

I posted a review a few years ago that I have had terrific shellac french manicures by Tu. I did not post about the salon in general. Regrettably I have to agree with the majority of the posts here. I have made several appointments to have Tu do my pedicures, however each time I have been handed off to someone else - not okay. The salon is poorly run and quite unsanitary. I have been overlooking the issues with sanitary practices because Tu always used sterilized tools. I always make an appointment but the appointment times have never been honoured so I am left sitting soaking in acetate; sometimes for over 30 minutes - also not okay. I was planning on talking to management about this at my next appointment. Yesterday I called to make an appointment with Tu and was told she was away for a few months. If I were just a drop in client I would be fine with that. As I have been a loyal client of Tu's for several years, I feel that it would have been a professional courtesy to let me know so that I could make alternative arrangements. That said, I really don't think this salon cares one way or the other. I have found someone else at a different salon who is actually better than Tu, at a salon that is clean, quiet. I will not be returning to Paris Nails. read more

I wouldn't give these people another cent. They treat you like cattle. No customer service and rush rush rush. My feet sat in cold water for 30 minutes while the worker rushed through another client. Didn't even look my way or ask if I was comfortable or needed anything. Didn't ask if I wanted the deluxe pedicure....just showed up with a squirt of pink lotion and jumped into my pedicure. She was rough and pushed my feet where she wanted them. She cut my skin and then tried to pretend she didn't and sprinkled unsanitary powder onto it to promote coagulation. Zero concern for the person paying. Main concern is getting as many people through as fast as possible. So glad they are here to grab our money, talk in their language so we don't know what they're saying and pretend they give a crap when they don't..... read more

I got an acrylic set put on, lady that did my nails used an electric file and went so far down with it that it burned and hurt worse then anything I've ever felt in my life when I told her she was hurting me while my eyes were watering she rolled her eyes and looked at her co worker and started speaking another language. The entire time I had my nails done no one spoke to me making it kind of awkward. During this because no one spoke to me I was looking at my phone. The lady doing my nails said "colour" and I didn't hear her at first and I said pardon me ? And she got mad and yelled COLOUR I felt like I was almost not meant to be there and they didn't want me there. They left me sitting at that stupid drying thing for forever because no one told me I was good to leave.. honestly if they were a good set of nails I wouldn't of said about your horrible customer service but they were trash none were even I asked for almond tip and you squared them off and when I asked you to fix them you said you would have to charge me for an entire second set. I hate this place with a passion and how you haven't been shut down is beyond me. Please save yourself the headache and go to LIV nails or there is a fantastic place inside the bay view mall it's a small place but good prices and nice people and great work! read more

after today, i will never go back again. i've always went to them to do my nails, but today was the last they will ever get business from me. i went in on time for my appointment to have a fill and fix done. not too long after a lady called me over as it was my turn. i sat down and was talking to a lady beside me who was having her nails done by the owner, in which she knows her well. i could tell the lady that was doing my nails was anxious. the lady beside me proceeded to tell me that the lady doing my nails was in training. i got a little worried them knowing she didn't have much experience. i let her shave my nails down to be ready to fill. but after an hour (which was in my opinion was way to long and we had barley gotten anything done), i was fighting tears. the lady had cut multiple of my fingers and burnt me countless times. i then asked to use the restroom so i could cry. i stood in the restroom and bawled while i called my mom to tell her the amount of pain i was in and how terrible the service was. after i calmed down i went out to the front counter and asked a lady if i could leave and not pay because of how horrible of a job a lady was doing. and she told me yes. then the owner came over and apologized and said i could leave and not pay, but she said she felt bad and would give me a 15% discount on a set of shellac nails (i only wanted acrylic). i thought about it for a few minutes and gave in being i was getting something better while being given a discount. so i picked my colour and sat at her table. she then proceeded to give me a much better and painless experience, and made sure i was okay at all times. as i sat there getting my nails done, the lady in training was doing a fill and fix for another lady. when i looked over at her she had a sour face. and about 2 minutes later she pulled her hands away and said it was burning way too much; then an experienced man came over and took charge. the owner who did my nails also spoke decent english which was nice. but by the time i left, i had spent 3 hours in there. 3 HOURS. for a fill and fix. i left with a fresh set of shellac nails, cut and burnt nail beds, and a migraine... if you ever plan on getting your nails done there please ask for cindy the owner to do them. read more
