This is for my daughter. Even with a reservation the place was packed. It seems that they take walk-in and that means everyone working was having to work fast. The guy that did my daughter's nails was incredibly rough and when she complained it hurt he said, something like "beauty is painful." She said it hurt worse that an Electromylogram where they stick needles into your muscles and run a current to test nerve function. Whatever glue they used to put on the false nails was too good, it too several hours of soaking her fingers in acetone to get the false nails off. She said it was like she was there for HIS benefit, not her's. She definitely said she is never going back and is telling her friends how painful it was. read more

Not enough workers so we waited a long time. Then the pedicure I got was too long of you can believe it! Also the chair was really uncomfortable. My nail polish on my toes was still really wet after waiting 20 minutes! Had to take off the polish to put my shoes on! My husband convinced me to get my nails done here and I didn't even think to check here first. I so regret that now. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted (shape/length). We discussed the fact that I dislike when nail people do my nails thick as my nail beds are narrow. She spoke enough English to know what I was saying and communicated as much to me. What I asked for and what I got are so opposite it's not even funny. I absolutely HATE how my nails look! To top it off I paid $70 for something I want to rip off my fingers. $70!!!!! She knew I wasn't happy because I was discussing them with my daughter and she got an attitude with me the remaining time I was there. God I miss my nail guy back in California....never paid more than $60 WITH tip and he was amazing. I was a little apprehensive about coming here after checking the reviews. I however had a great experience. My colleague recommended them, as I am new to town. Very kind and courteous service as well as quick and skilled. I got a full set, they were not thick at all, look great and have worn well. I definitely recommend to come early if you are a walk in or be prepared to wait because they are busy. read more

Argued with me about nail length insisting my choice was wrong then got irritated and was sloppy, nails aren't even and did not do the shape I requested. burned every one of my fingers at the top with the dremel. I am absolutely appalled at the business that this company is doing. My daughters went in and specifically asked for acrylic nails - which are $41. They were upsold to gel nails, and to put designs on them, while the business conveniently did not tell them that these would cost anything else. On top of that, the girls were asked to pick a shape (which apparently costs an additional $5 if you don't just take whichever shape the salon decides to use - again, shape charge not disclosed). My girls are young teens. One has had her nails done one time before (2 years ago), and the other never has. They had no idea that they were not receiving the acrylic nails and being given something else. Their $41 experience ended up costing each of them $85. That is absolutely abhorrent. This business obviously preys on teenagers, and I strongly recommend that all parents keep their children away from this business at all costs - otherwise the cost will be yours or your daughters'. I will say that one of the girls had nice looking fingernails afterwards, but the other one has nails that are embarrassing to look at, and I'm probably going to have to have the nails taken off and redone by someone else since they look so terrible. Happy birthday girls. I would like to add that I did call the business and spoke to a person who identified herself as the manager. She refused to even refund the basic $10 difference between the cost of gel nails and acrylic nails. read more

Booked an appointment with a specific tech and then sat in a chair for 45 minutes to be told my tech couldn't do it. Every time I have gone in all other tech move me to this particular tech because they can't do it. Can't get a refund on a gift certificate I received. I love 2 hours from this place and only come here. Wasted gas and time to be told I can't get my appointment. What's the point of making appointments with a certain tech and not being able to do so. Wow! I brought my daughter there for her (she's 5) to get a kids pedicure and myself gel nails. They charged 40$ for my nails which I would of paid 30$ anywhere else and the quality was awful. As soon as we entered it was rush, pick out polish, sit here. My daughter is 5. I'm not going to leave her by herself getting her toes done. They were annoyed with me. Her pedicure which was a soak for 1 minute, lotion and polish. I'd say all in all it was 15 minutes tops. Then they asked if they should paint her nails and since she was nodding her head, I said go ahead. When I went to check out they charged me 78$. They charged me 38$ basically for polishing my daughters nails and plus made her feel bad when they thought she smudged them. Ho hum, I will never ever go back. I went there and asked for coffin shapes nails, she said it would be extra for the shape. I said "That's fine" because i was led to believe it was for the shape. Later on I look at my receipt and it says "Extra long" and that was the extra price. When i told the lady i wanted them shorter she pretty much told me it would look bad and convinced me otherwise. My gel nails are also very blotchy, there's a spot you can clearly see it's just blotches on to and it looks different then the other parts. She also hurt me multiple times and made me bleed. After saying "Ouch!" she would act like she didn't hear it even though it was VERY clear. Although, she was very nice and welcoming i did not have a good experience this time. read more

Got two exact pedicures done here charge me 70 for one and 45 for another .They try to scam different prices in pay close attention to receipts. I have always gone to Paris Nails a and they have always done a great job. The last 3 times I've gone I have NOT been happy. The acrylic doesn't seem to always go all the way to the edge of my nail and the acrylic seems to lift within the 1st week on some nails. I dont have time to keep running in to get them fixed. ZERO STARS! Don't bother. Rude staff, unclean salon, and extremely pricey. Who in their right mind would go there? Asked for pink and white. She puts white tips on and just puts gel (not acrylic) over top?? Never have had someone do that before. She also put the white tips so far down that a few days into the nails, you could see the end of my nail (the "smiley face"? not sure what it's called) and it looks terrible. And it was $55!!!! This salon was really the worst I have ever been to. The staff acted extremely rushed, even though it was me and one other woman there, and just wanted to get me in and out, without any regard to quality. The woman assigned to me frankly acted disgusted to even touch my legs/feet (they weren't gross in any way) and really man-handled me. She would pull on me and act impatient if I didn't put my feet in the water the moment she subtly requested. Her massage was absolutely painful (pressure on the bones) and rushed. I understand that going into a nail salon, the employees may or may not be speaking English, and it really doesn't bother me one bit. Paris Nails employees were literally shouting at one another, even though working next to each other. I come to a nail salon to have 30-40 minutes of relaxation, not to have people screaming at each other. The woman doing my pedicure did a poor job. The layers of paint were piled on top of each other with no drying time, and she aggressively pushed back my cuticles. She shoveled me into the UV light drying area, and after 4 minutes, she asked me to leave so someone else could sit there. They also asked for their sandals back (which they re-use on people!). I had to put my shoes back on to walk through the mall to my car, and my pedicure was absolutely ruined. I would have been much better off going somewhere else or doing it myself. read more

Never (in a place like this, a NON-Upscale Luxury Spa) have I paid $18 for a basic one color Mani and $33 for a basic one color Pedi. - Worst Mani I have ever received. - Unprofessional workers / nail tech attempted to "pull one over" on me. MY EXPERIENCE My friend and I were seated right away. The pedi massage chair had great pressure. Unfortunately for my friend, she ended up with a massage chair that was broken. Finally a man came and fixed it about 15 minutes into her pedi. We chit chatted and didn't really pay too much attention to our pedis until the end. We both looked down to assess the work before moving onto the mani stations, and we were pleased with the pedi work. Appearently the techs all have their own stations because we werent able to sit side by side so we couldn't chit chat. At this point, 3-4 women had walked in and were waiting. I think this is when the nail techs felt rushed because mine skipped a Base coat altogether and went on to doing a crappy job in painting. I was ushered to the UV lights for drying and my friend and I sat there assessing the work. My polish was bubbling, you know the kind that occurs when you've applied too thick of layers without enough drying time inbetween? I showed the nail tech and she said "Oh, thats just your nail that do that, I can't fix" My thoughts were "Ok lady, I've done this enough times to know what causes bubbles" I then addressed the issue with the man at the front desk and he said "I can fix it, just sit down there" pointing at a mani station next to the one I was just in. By now my nail tech was working on someone elses nails. I waited about 3 minutes, waiting for the guy to come fix the bubbled nails and at about 5 minutes he saw that I was looking at him with confusion. He then said "It will be a few minutes until she's done" I said "Oh, I thought You were going to fix them" he said "No, she will fix them when she's done with her" meaning, I was going to have to wait until my nail tech was done doing a mani on a woman who JUST sat down. At this point my friend and I just left with bubbles on our nails and paint on our cuticles. $55 later, I had a Mani that looked worse than when I had walked in. read more

I went to Paris nails back in 2011 when we moved here. I had moved from Texas and normally had, what I assume was a shallack, done on my nails. With the nail tech I asked if they did the same style, she said "yes" did my nails and sent me to the uv lamps. I left with nails I felt didn't exactly resemble the type of nails I normally had, but it was a new place and felt that I didn't entirely know how to explain the type of nails, so I moved on and went home. On the way home, not even 10 minutes in the car, I noticed my nail had a huge crack up the middle of the entire polish they had just put on. I mentioned to my husband I must've already bumped it on something. We ended up going back to the mall only after my husband kept pushing it since I now had 4 nails that had similar splits and cracks in them. The lady at the salon said "no that's not our fault that's your nail, too thin, just cracks." She "fixed" them with an attitude and talked to someone else very annoyed the entire time. Yet again she reassured me if it happened again it was just my nail being too thin... Which has never been an issue before. I don't remember how much it cost since it was 3 years ago now, but I will never go back. I alway go to the salon next to Verizon in Rushmore Crossing now for way better service. read more

Oh Man! I had the Deluxe Pedicure done and now I am thinking about seeing a DOCTOR! The girl clipped my big toenail and then stabbed me with the cuticle scissors and I hurt a week later STILL! I believe it was the Cuticle Scissors I was stabbed with she quickly put the instrument away when I looked down at my foot. RATING THEY GET NO STAR! They don't even make it on the rating chart. WORSE Place to go for your nails. First the male rushed me in and cut me off when i was asking if they can do a specific thing. He over talks me and and repeats yea yea yea we do this. So, i go ahead with it since i really wanted to do something nice for myself. First off RUDE. Then when he asked me what i wanted, i explained it a minimum of 5 times which was a design on my big toe based off the designs on the hands that are on display. He didn't undrstand why i wanted that then i asked if he can just put a flower on it then he called ALL of his family members over to me and was treating me as if i was a threat or something. I had to explain this to each person and they just had no clue. He put three different colors on my toe and one after the other i kept telling him no. I WANT THE EXACT design on the hands. Finally i just gave up because if he can follow simple instructions i didn't want a crappy design to look at and be pissed about. I still had to pay for the cheap lotion/foot rub and the trimming of my nails. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE. BIG WAISTE and the SERVICE SUCKs A$$. I was so upset then to make it worse i had a credit card and when i went to pay they don't even use them.... the sign is on the front where u normally would stand to pay and its located near your lower thigh.. not a likely place you would look or see.. and the guy started raising his voice and being unprofessional and then started talking about me in his native language NOT ENGLISH and i just thought it was so rude.
