I knew right away it was the place for me. It was many weeks before I was able to make an appointment as my calendar limited. After booking it online (totally for this process) I received a text asking me preliminary questions as well as requests for screenshots of my brows. Long story short, Denise is a professional. Doing her homework to assure her success and her clients satisfaction. She proceeded to suggest a style and shape and drew it on my brows to show me what it would look like. When I told her I had my own ideas and wanted to look similar to the way my brows were before the over plucking and over shaving and age, she did not necessarily agree with me. But because they're my brows and I explained in detail what I wanted, she went with my request. When she was finished, she was pleased and mentioned she had not done this style but was going to put them as an option to her classic styles. I am completely satisfied and give her my highest ever review. Did I say she is sweet and beautiful inside and out the Vive was very holistic and peaceful. Very much painless

Take that as a lesson and try to shape not overpluck. I had been letting my brows grow in and just drawing them in all this time. I had looked into permanent brows and microblading for a long time but never did it due to cost and upkeep. Anyway, with hormonal shifts and passing time, my brows have been looking sparse these last few years. Drawing in and powdering my brows in the morning takes longer than I would prefer. I did a deep dive into microblading and nano-blading, weighing the pros and cons. I settled upon a few permanent make-up artists in the area and reached out to them. It was time for me to take charge of my morning routine. Saena Kim has a robust repertoire on Yelp and Instagram so I reached out to her. Making an appointment was easy as she utilizes an online booking system. The consultation is $50 and goes towards your procedure if you choose to continue with her. With my oily skin, I knew that most PMA would suggest combination powder brows, but she suggested nano brows that are machine assisted. I trusted her with literally tattooing my face, so I went with her suggestion after voicing my concerns. I asked about the inks, she used (which are inorganic). I asked about her experience with nano brows (4+ years). I asked about the numbing prior to the procedure (topically applied). My appointment from start to finish was about an hour and a half. She took the time to shape my brows, get feedback from me, and went to work with her machine. My pain was minimal; I might have fallen asleep. She has offered microblading services for years. She also offers lash extensions, brow lamination, brow correction, and lip blush too. She rents a space inside Sola Salons in the Woodbury Town Center. It's a small, cute space with feminine details and bright lighting. There are other beauty services offered inside the salon as well, just know where you need to go. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I will be back in a few weeks for a touch-up session but so far my brows have been looking more shapely than ever before. The brows are healing nicely and I will post an update with side-by-side images, when all is said and done. Thanks Saena for giving my brows new life!

I had a life-changing experience! Paris is not only SUPER talented, she's also so kind and compassionate! During the stressful pandemic, my brows thinned out almost losing all of my eyebrow hair. I was devastated, upon research I came across Paris. After seeing her beautiful work I decided to book! After my first session I couldn't believe the results! I HAVE EYEBROWS AGAIN! She took so much time to map out the shape and is so meticulous and thorough. My situation was a bit different considering my natural shape wasn't there to work with since I had eyebrow hair loss. She created a beautiful shape and once we both loved it she began the process of microblading. She uses a great numbing topical cream which made it very tolerable. She spent so much time perfecting her work. She is a true artist! When I saw my brows for the first time I broke into tears. It was better than I could even have imagined. I went back yesterday for my 6 week touch up and again, Paris was so compassionate, and took her time. My eyebrows got thin, sparse, and very uneven after years of pregnancy and postpartum hormone shifts. I realized I was spending a ton of time every day trying to fill in my eyebrows so I didn't feel so self-conscious about it. I started researching microblading artists, and Parisa was the one whose work impressed me the most. As a professional artist myself, I have pretty high standards and wanted to make sure if someone was going to essentially draw on my face, they better be talented and artistic! I was very impressed that Parisa has a Bachelor's in Art (and has some beautiful drawings that I saw on her Instagram account!), professional certification for permanent makeup application, and also training and certification from the Red Cross. I couldn't have asked for a better combo, leaving me feel completely comfortable in her talented hands! Parisa did an amazing job, and I am absolutely thrilled with my new eyebrows! I went there to get my eyebrows micro bladed one month ago and I was very nervous having heard microblading gone wrong stories. However PARISA was very professional, calming, caring, and patient. She was very understanding throughout the whole process and told me to take my time making sure I liked my shape. She was very kind and reassuring, I felt as though she truly cared about my experience and the overall turn out of my brows. She always made sure I was okay and comfortable. She never reuses any part of her tools, not the needle nor the handle as she wants to make sure her tools are as sterile as possible, being brand new. Parisa is my savior! I had been to three different tattoo artists before who had actually charged me a lot and were well-known. However, I wasn't happy with their work as they made my brows look really fake. One of my coworkers had gone to Parisa's Aesthetics and her eye brows look very natural and beautiful. This was my first time ever microblading my eyebrows. I was a little nervous but oh my goodness....WOW! Just WOW! I'm in shock about how amazing they look! Then I decided to drop the other place because the price is sky high. I am pretty satisfied with the cost and the quality work that Parisa has done for me. I did permanent lip liner 3 times before and it never lasted. I went to Parisa and she used a new technique called Microblading and it made a huge difference. The shape is beautiful. Unfortunately, this ended up being the worst lash studio experience I've had. For my first appointment, I requested a light, wispy set and explained that I wanted as many of my natural lashes filled as possible while keeping the fans light and natural. Vicky was nice and attentive to the style I wanted, but afterward I noticed quite a few natural lashes had been left unlashed. She also seemed rushed toward the end because her next client was already waiting. I contacted the studio the next day and asked if they could make the set slightly fuller. Ashley handled the adjustment, and from the moment I arrived, she was extremely cold and unfriendly. Instead of greeting me, she immediately asked, "What do you need fixed?" When I tried pointing out the sparse areas, she interrupted me and said, "I can't see what you're pointing to. Lay down." I explained that I liked the original style and simply wanted the bare natural lashes filled. Instead, my lashes came out significantly darker and thicker, uneven between both eyes, and with little attention to the original mapping. When I told her I wanted the lighter fans Vicky had used, she responded, "Well, I don't know what she did, so I can't do the same style." This was surprising considering they work and train under the same studio. I eventually left dissatisfied and booked at another studio the following week. During that week, my lashes became increasingly uncomfortable and felt like they were pulling on each other. When the other artist removed them, she took photos confirming that multiple lashes were stuck together. In some areas, approximately 3-4 natural lashes were glued to a single fan, and some fans were glued together as well. The removal was difficult and painful due to Ashley and Vicky's poor application. Although Vicky was much nicer and did a better job with the styling, some of her original application also had natural lashes stuck together. The bases of the lashes were very boxy too, which explains why I felt like the lashes were poking my eyelid anytime I closed my eyes. As a lash artist myself, I don't leave a review like this lightly. Proper isolation is extremely important for the health and integrity of natural lashes. Between the application issues and the way my concerns were handled, I unfortunately cannot recommend Moon Lash. The experience showed a lack of consistency between artists, poor customer service, and most importantly, a lack of attention to natural lash health.
