I've struggled to write this review for a long time because I had given Mojee the benefit of the doubt and really wanted to like her and her work. If you don't want to read my lengthy review, long story short go to Pomi B. Brow Studio for microblading and go to Dr. Khan at GentleCare Laser for PMU removal. Avoid being scammed by Mojee. I had the old style permanent makeup done on my eyebrows from 2012. I was ready for them to be updated and understood that it would be a long process. I saw a photo that Mojee posted on Instagram of an old PMU tattoo covered up with microblading and was instantly sold. So I called and left a voicemail to get an appointment. As some had previously mentioned in other reviews, it was a bit difficult to get a response from her. I had to call her a second time and when I finally got a call back, she said that I didn't leave my correct phone number in the voicemail, but I've had the same phone number for 12 years and I doubt that I suddenly had a lapse in memory and provided my wrong phone number. Nonetheless, I went to my appointment October 2017. Mojee examined my eyebrows and determined I'd need 2 removals before she could go over it with microblading. She said that she had this special going on which included 2 removals and microblading plus touch up for $750. The receipt showed $250 for initial visit and removal, $110 second removal, and $900 for microblading with a $510 discount. After my October 2017 appointment, I found out I was pregnant. So I had to wait until I was obviously not pregnant anymore and done breastfeeding. Fast forward to March 2019, I had my appointment for my second removal, then after made an appointment for what I thought would be microblading next, but then when I got to my third appointment, Mojee said I needed another removal, and repeat this scenario about 3 more times. I ended up getting a total of 5 removals (10/31/2017, 03/15/2019, 05/17/2019, 08/09/19, 09/19/2019) and my old PMU was not getting any lighter and I was paying $210 for each appointment. Mojee kept telling me I needed removals and I blindly trusted her. She did not apply my credit or balance towards any of these removals, she made me pay each time. I should also mention that my fifth appointment, she had moved locations and neglected to tell me her new location. I had called her 3 times throughout the day and sent her 2 text messages without a response. Then 10 minutes after my scheduled time, she had the audacity to call me and ask where I was. That aside, I was finally fed up with being given the run around and got a second opinion. I found someone locally on Instagram that had beautiful work and then cross referenced with her Yelp reviews (Pomi B. Brow Studio). She gladly took my appointment to take a look at my eyebrows and did not charge me. She told me that if I had already done 5 removals and my old PMU was still this dark, that I probably needed something more aggressive. I asked her for a referral and she sent me to Dr. Khan with GentleCare Laser. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Khan the same week and he is the nicest guy ever. The laser removal is so much more effective and quicker than Mojee's removal and it was only $100 each appointment with only 24 hours of downtime as opposed to the one week down time with Mojee's removal. I ended up getting 4 laser removals with Dr. Khan. Also, during my first appointment with Dr. Khan he pointed out where I had SKIN DAMAGE from Mojee's removal. My skin had white spots aka hypopigmentation from her chemical removal. Now here's the real kicker, at the beginning of quarantine my significant other and I had a loss of income. In a desperate attempt trying to quickly make ends meet, I called Mojee and asked if there was anyway she could refund my credit even just temporarily or if she could provide half a refund. It took a lot of swallowing pride to even make the call. I was in absolute disbelief when she showed ZERO compassion and advised me to file my taxes to get a stimulus check. She claimed that it was against policy and that the transaction was too old for her to refund. WTF??? I NEVER signed any sort of contract or saw any signs that said "No refunds after X days." How can Mojee keep my money when she never performed the service? Could you imagine going to a restaurant and paying for your food and never receiving it and they said "nope, no refunds." I couldn't believe as woman to woman, mother to mother, she was so cold and rude. Then to top that off the following day, I saw her post on Instagram of her NEW ASTON MARTIN. Are you kidding me? At that point, I knew she was dishonest and I would rather lose my $532 that I already paid her than to continue to do business with her. She literally charged me for 5 removals knowing darn well that it wouldn't work. Mojee scammed me out of $1,380. I took my business elsewhere and cut my losses. read more

Mojee claims she is an expert in everything, when in permanent make up, microneedling and facials she fails in delivering any treatmeant to satisfaction. She never explains what she is doing to your face while you're on the table. Constantly answers the phone calls she receives and always rummaging through her drawers looking for products. Very upsetting experience as once you give her cash which she insists on she won't even give you credit for balances you may have for additional treatments you already paid for. Don't try to get your cash back either...this woman will cancel all written agreements you sign with out you knowing. Awful experience. She takes before and after pictures on the same day which shows good results however my lip and eye pigmentation faded to 80% in two weeks. It was a wrong choice for choosing this place for my eye brow, she charged$500 and the job last only 1 week, and the result was horrible the shape was not up to date, she could only do the old shape 20 years ago. Mojee is amazing, I found her here on Yelp and was a bit hesitant since it wasn't a referral from a friend. She really took care of me! She is very professional but very friendly nice and calm. She walks you thru the procedures and truly listens to what you want to accomplish. I have never had very prominent brows. They were too light, very thin and asymmetrical. I wanted brows since they're so in style now but feared they'd be too dark or look extreme on my face. Mojee drew them on with pencil so that I could see if I'd like them. They looked great so I went for it and now don't know how I lived without them!! They look so natural like little hairs and she was able to make them even unlike my own brows. The color is perfect & they make my eyes pop! Mojee was so patient with me & all of my questions. I had my first appointment with Mojee on Thursday of last week. I was real nervous since I had a very bad experience before. I was pleased from the second I met Mojee. She was very pleasant and answered every question I had, calming my fears. The salon was very nice and Mojee keep everything very sterile during my procedures. Mojee started with an indepth consultation before starting my procedure. Due to medical conditions, I had lost most of my eyebrows and had leftover tattoo that Mojee had to work with. Nice job but it lasts only for 3 days. After a week, the make up was mostly faded. It happened even after one session touch-up. Extra touch-up sessions will cost at least 200$. So, you need to be careful and make sure that the material which she uses is convenient for your skin type. read more

Mojee did my eyebrows and lips. I went in for a second treatment and Mojee offered to do a third time as the color did not stick. I tried to book an appointment initially with no return calls. I finally was able to reach her only to learn that she wanted to charge me more due to the time lapse. Unreal. I don't believe that she could take my money with NO results as the color just wore off quickly on both my eyebrows and lips. As for my lips, initially they were so red and bled a lot. The procedure was excruciating even after numbing. She did not use a block like you get in a dentist office. I asked for more numbing cream and she claimed I had it on. I screamed as the pain was too too difficult to take. So I thought I would want to go back to give her a chance for my eyebrows (I was scared to do lips at this point) but all she wanted was more money. Don't waste your time with Mojee as she does not care about what the client hoped for. After trying to give her a chance to finish her once started job, I'm glad I did not go back. I've found a great beautician who actually knows how to numb ( didn't feel a thing) and turn out beautiful brows and lips. Do your research and don't waste your time or money with Mojee. read more

I wasted $700 and ended up with only two hairs tattooed after stupidly doing 2 separate procedures with this woman Mojee. i paid $500 for the first one which it only lasted 7 days, she did the "perfecting touch up" that is offered with every microblading procedure, but again, it only lasted a couple of days. Then she suggested a second procedures with a digital machine for a fee of $200 she said it included ONE " perfecting visit touch up" it lasted a little bit longer but most of the hairs faded once again. When i called to schedule my perfecting touch up, she said it will cost me an additional $250 incredible! of course i knew better than to keep throwing hard earned money to the garbage so that was the end of it. What it really bothered me wasnt so much the fact that after two procedures and $700 i ended up with only two hairs tattooed but the fact that she was dishonest and did not honor the agreement by giving me the "perfecting touch up" that i was entitle to, and used the excuse that i was supposed to schedule it within 8 weeks. Well thats not what it says on the agreement statement she has her clients sign. It says very clear that the perfecting touch up has to be done within 3 months, and if you decide to have what she calls a "maintenance touch up" that is done within 6 months to 2 years at an additional fee of $250. so basically she wanted to charge me an additional $250 like if it was a maintenance touch up, even though the second procedure it included the mandatory perfecting touch up. buyer be ware, do your home work first, do not go with someone who has only a handful of "good reviews" , and make sure you request a copy of any agreement they give you to sign.
