This Y has great workout equipments. Some of their machines are pretty modern. I was surprised by how clean and well maintained this Y was. Bikes were amazing. You can go on a nice virtual ride. The handles turn giving you a real feel of riding the bike. One of the best bikes I have seen in the gym. They lose a star for their outdated locker room. Small showers and the access to the sauna is pretty far outside the shower near the swimming pool. They don't provide towels. Luckily my husband had an extra towel in his gym bag.

But I'm back, and they have new equipment! Yay! I didn't feel like anything was wrong (except for the SkiErg that keeps breaking. I wish they'd get a Concept2 version), but I came back to True equipment. Now there are two seated row machines and two lat pull-downs. The dip machine is a standalone machine by itself. They also added a glute builder machine. It's not a version I've used before, but it'll do. Lastly, I always finish with time in the sauna. It's always nice & hot.

During our visit my son gave us a private tour of the new UA Global Headquarters near the Baltimore harbor. We started the tour at the visitors center and received some historical information about Under Armour, it's origin and founder. There were plaques and memorabilia of legendary athletes and celebrities that are sponsored by the brand. We then toured the performance center which includes strength and conditioning training, classes and equipment. The is an infrared sauna and recovery room which was designed with all athletes in mind. The design center was closed for visitors but Ben a generous E-Commerce employee took the time out to give us a personal tour of the indoor basketball facility, dining area, design studio, sample room, focus group area and what's next for Under Armour. I was so impressed with his knowledge and willingness to share the new releases for Black Friday. Which is going to be HUGE savings. There is so much science behind the brand with families and athletes in mind. We drove a few minutes off campus to view the new track & field stadium that will also be used for soccer and football. The track was bright red with hints of gray throughout. I can't wait to see my son race on this track in the future. It's scheduled to be completed in 2023.

The complex is very picturesque and can be distracting to workout if you are a UA fan. So, I suggest you get all your pictures out of the way before you workout. There is a few parking spots in front of the center, but most of them are marked as reserved. The Center does have one stipulation for working out here. You must wear Under Armour gear. That was not hard for me though, because that I what I mostly wear anyway. Even if you don't want to or can't work out, just visiting the campus is impressive. It is a great location, right off of the Patapsco River and across from the wold famous Inner Harbor

The Middle Branch Fitness & Wellness Center is a 35,000 square foot facility featuring a gym,…read moreindoor/outdoor pools, basketball courts, indoor/outdoor walking path, maker's space, playground and so much more. The entry into this gym is free and they offer some free/low cost classes. Check-in to the gym is pretty easy and the facility is kept clean. Also, there is free parking available. This facility is great if you want to stay active for no more money in a nice facility and they have a small work area for work-for-home employees. This gym is also great for aquatics for the kids. If you are a "gym-rat" this may not be the space for you. All in all, it's a great facility for the community and I hope it continues to impact Baltimore positively.

This facility is beautiful, and the staff make it even better. I attended a wellness expo here this weekend and truly felt surrounded by community and connection. This center was created with the intention of making Baltimore a better place and providing a space where both kids and adults can benefit. The bathrooms are HUGE and clean, there's a giant pool, basketball hoops, a gym, and an indoor track. I could keep listing all the amazing features, but everyone needs to come and visit for themselves. I am so impressed not only with the design and amenities of this place but also with the wonderful energy it has. I can't wait to come back!

The workouts are designed to make you feel like an athlete, building both physical and mental strength. This pool has 4 lanes. When I came at about 1330, the pool was empty. WINNING!!! There was a woman in the locker room preparing to swim, so it was just the two of us. I didn't care for the fact that there's no entrance to the pool from the locker room, but the hallway from the locker room to the pool is kind of in the back. When I entered the Y the two women at the front desk were very helpful. I asked about the pool and what were the busiest times. I also asked the lifeguard this question and what I gather is that it varies depending on the day. There's plenty of cardio equipment and although it's not a huge club, it has everything I would need for my workout if I were to use the weights or treadmill. Also, it's very clean! I'll definitely give this Y a chance again and throw it into my rotation to get a feel for the best times to swim.
