This is a great place to practice cricket and baseball. The lanes are wide and lengthy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This Howard County park was definitely built with team sports in mind. There are plenty of…read moresoftball and soccer fields so you don't feel like you are in anybody's way. There are also a couple of volleyball courts near a very large covered pavilion that would fit the family bbq or the the office crab feast. There is also a decently sized playground for the kids, although it isn't nearly as good as the playgrounds offered at Centennial and Meadow Brook. I can imagine parking could be a pain as the fields fill up but there is street parking available.

We come here pretty regularly with my kid's travel team, usually on Saturday afternoons, and…read moresometimes just for individual work a couple times a month. I don't have a lot to compare it to, but this spot has become part of our routine, and it's always cool to see whole teams and individual players getting their reps in. The batting cages are the main thing we use. They can be a little hit-or-miss accuracy-wise -- maybe around 65% on the pitches -- but at about $2 a round, it's still pretty cheap for what you get. Depending on how into it our kid is that day, we're usually here 1.5-2 hours. The facility itself feels like a typical sports warehouse: moderate noise, good lighting, and can get crowded, but it's workable. For being a place full of bats, balls, and kids running around, it's actually kept pretty clean. The staff has always been solid. They greet you when you come in and when you leave, and anytime we've needed help, they've been friendly and quick to point us in the right direction. Most of the time we already know what we're here for, but it's nice knowing the support is there. Overall, the pricing for individual use feels fair, and it's one of those places I'm honestly grateful exists. It gives the kids somewhere to train -- even in the cold months -- and that alone keeps us coming back.

I went here the other day simply for the batting cages and to get some hacks in before the upcoming…read moresoftball season starts. There are 3 cages that can either do baseball, fast pitch softball, or slow pitch softball. Sure, the balls were not consistent in speed or height, but that's fine. It won't be that way on the field either. Each credit gets you 15 pitches, which seemed fine to me. They do have some bats there to use, but bring your own if you have it. Those bats have seen better days. The tunnels looked like they were in great condition. The staff was friendly and explained everything to us since this was our first time here.
