And they require you to pay by check when that happens and you have to drop it off in person when the office is open. Maintenance is slow. They send out messages saying they decided to "punish" us by "closing the pool for an undetermined length of time" because someone tore a pool chair. Pool chairs that were old before we even moved there, and sat outside multiple summers and winters and thus dry rotted. Just sitting on them could have torn them. They offered the choice of free carpet cleaning or led light bulbs for renewing our lease. We chose the LED lights. Scheduled a time for them to changed them out over and ever and no one ever showed up. We never got the bulbs. The complex gets bought and sold every 6mo to a year. Because office staff is constantly changing, so are the rules, and they can never keep track of who's parking spots are who's etc. You don't get a parking spot with your apartment rental. You have to pay one (monthly fee) We don't like paying extra cleaning, repair fees, etc. so we left the place move-in ready. Scrubbed everything top to bottom. Shampooed the carpet, not a single ding or mark on any wall, replaced the blind slat that had a kink in it, literally everything. They still tacked on a $435 maintenance and cleaning fee. Greedy, corrupt pricks. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Oh and they said that everything I got a notice that my account was going to be changed $20.00 We finally bought a home in the area, I went in to ask about getting out of our leas 1 month early only for them to tell us that we singed 14 month lease not a 12 month. They wanted either $2200 or we could pay back all our concessions back for the 11 months we lived there plus the rent till our unit was rerented. We ended up paying $1700 to brake the lease. The company that handled the buy out messed up twice and kept sending out notices that we still owed, like 6 months after we moved out. And to this day I still get email notices to pay my rent on line even though I have opted out of the email 6 times. I would not recommend this place to anyone, it was crazy over prices, small, and the staff is totally incompetent.

When we moved in, carpets were dirty, blinds broken, and vents dangling down from the ceiling, bathroom vanity pieces peeling back from the wall/mirror due to water damage and just little things missing throughout the apartment, such as drawer handles, door knobs, even light bulbs.. Every time I brought up something that needed to be fixed or replaced, they would telI me.. "We'll have maintenance come look at it" but they NEVER DID!!! I fixed all of it myself, except the fridge, dishwasher and sink faucet leaking.. It stayed like that the whole time we lived there, they never bothered to come fix it.. We even went through almost 2 months with no AC in the heat of our first summer there, all because they didn't want to replace the AC unit!!! The manager there isn't a good person at all.. It has taken 3 days of us calling to get a maintenance guy out to fix our heater and water heater. This is the middle of winter! People are leaving this place in droves and they are making the rest of us pay for it. We can't get out of here soon enough!!
