Insulation thrown onto our barstools by the maintenance.
Tatiana A.

My roommate and I have lived here for about a year and had no issues until a month ago. We had a horrible leak that ruined multiple pieces of our furniture. We called numerous times for maintenance and all they would do was come and suck the water up rather than find the root of the problem. They were so negligent that mold grew on the wet carpet and remained multiple days without them offering a different place to stay. We had to ask multiple times to be given an Airbnb before they complied. It has been a month. The problem has still not been fixed, multiple personal pieces of furniture have been ruined, and they have been so uncommunicative throughout this entire experience. When I finally called and suggested getting my lawyer involved, Mel Escalante (the property manager) was incredibly rude and unprofessional with her response. She stated that they had 30 days to fix the problem while providing alternative housing, which would be true had they offered the Airbnb immediately upon the initial call or even on the first time we asked. Not even to mention that apartments in Utah have 3 days to fix a problem if there is active mold. The negligence and lack of respect to our personal belongings is UNREAL. They moved our TV stand to a puddle of water where you can see the cord dangling IN the water, threw insulation on our bar stools and couch, rolled the SOAKING wet carpet onto our leather couch, AND left our apartment door unlocked one evening when we went over. Not even to mention going in our personal bedrooms multiple times without asking consent prior. The way that we have been treated throughout this entire process has been disrespectful, negligent, and the opposite of empathetic. If you choose to live here, hope that you don't have any problems because the attitude and lack of communication and assistance is horrible.

Our TV stand getting soggy after sitting on wet carpet multiple days. It was relocated to a puddle on the hardwood after a week.

Good luck living here if you have a problem that needs fixed. The last 24 days there has been a leak in our apartment. Standing water causing mold, a horrible stench, and bugs flying around. Only the hardwood was a problem but the lack of urgency from the apartment caused the water to spread to our entire living room. Many of our things have been ruined. Maintenance and the front office staff have been dragging their feet and have shown a great lack of empathy.

Move in process was as straightforward as it gets. Trinity was very kind and professional. I showed up to lease a one bedroom apartment, and Trinity walked me through the process step by step, following up with necessary emails to ensure all the paperwork was completed. I received my keys within 24 hours and moved in 48 hours after signing the paperwork.

The only issue I have experienced since living here is that Sprint has very poor service in this area but that is obviously not an issue with the apartment complex.

In my household, we paid rent and media fee two days early (the only two things showing that we owed), bringing our account down to zero. Two days later, they posted another (optional) fee to our account..and instead of applying my payment to what I actually paid for in the first place, they took a portion and applied it to my optional fee, leaving me a "balance" on my rent and media fee which was paid for in the first place. Now, they have charged an extra $115 "late fee" (on a $14.95 optional charge) because they chose where they wanted to apply my payment to instead of what was actually paid for. One of us left a review, and the customer care team responded and told us to email them because they would like to resolve the issue. However, after reaching out to customer care a couple of times, they have ignored the emails and have not responded at all. Again, not showing they really care. Another reason I'm leaving a one star is the walls and ceilings are not very sound-resistant. We here our upstairs neighbors and their dog constantly.

Another reason I am giving a one star is the walls and ceilings are not very sound-resistant. We are constantly awoken at night because we hear our upstairs neighbor walking around in their apartment. It's a good location, but there are tons of other apartments to choose from.

I was SO very excited to move in initially. As soon as I moved in, I battled with ants for several weeks not to mention the insane amount of insects. I have never experienced anything like this before. Every place I have lived in they were super wonderful about taking care of their tenants...including insects. I will say that the maintenance team are great here; however, when I moved in my sink was backing up and they fixed it...so I thought it was fixed, but then AGAIN after three months I am still dealing with the same issue. I have spent so munch money with the cleaning service...as every time the maintenance come through I have to have my home cleaned to get all the stance out from under the sink baking up into the apartment.. On top of that I have had a leakage under my sink which leaked everywhere on the kitchen which caused my floor to warp. I asked when that would be fixed and I was told by the leasing office...that Maintenance had other priorities. WOW! How would you feel if you're paying $1800 a moth? I don't believe I'm being unreasonable. I have complained again about the insects...I was told that they didn't get any complaints from other tenants...so therefore I don't matter. No resolution was offered to me...instead I was treated like a pest. I take pride in my place and take care of it like it's my own home, but when I am paying their mortgage I would expect them to take care of me and my place. Is that so much to ask? I am still dealing with flying insects...it's hovering over my desk, bed, bathroom. I even had a couple that flew into my nostril. This is where the buck stops and why I am writing out of frustration. Unfortunately I am locked in with the lease.

Upon final inspection the guy from the office was surprised to see the 3+ year old carpet still in my unit. I was just as surprised when I received a $1400 bill to replace it, knowing it wasn't in great condition upon move in. The unit was not clean when I moved in. There was even a bag of random things left on the counter from the previous tenant. It damn sure was clean when I left, although they think I owe them $145 cleaning fee. Maintenance didn't respond to calls. I lived with exposed wires from a FAULTY fire alarm in my main bedroom for a full year without them addressing it, even though they said they would have it fixed a few weeks after moving in. The hot water heater sounded like a rock tumbler and often took a long time for the water to get hot. It was reported and I was "put on a list" for those who also complained about their faulty water heaters. (This apparently was common) as maintenance told me I was 1 of 9 and until it completely goes out, they wouldn't do anything. I could literally go on, but if you made it this far, save yourself the headache. On top of all of this, they upped the rent for a terrible paint job on the exterior of the buildings. Honestly, not worth the money.
