They had offered to repaint my whole apartment when I renewed the lease end of last year. But it would be work, moving furniture etc so I politely declined and said I would touch up heavy traffic areas myself eventually. I decided this week would be a good time. So one hour, not even, after leaving the voicemail. Katie the Assistant Manager had returned my call and Dennis the Maintenance Manager had promptly left the paint on my door step. This is how they have ALWAYS treated me here, the team are amazing, friendly, always professional and more than anything make me feel this is my home Always! For starters, I put a deposit on a one bedroom apartment here. They would not let me view the apartment I put a deposit on at all, I was told I could not view my unit due to "renovations". Upon my move in date, it doesn't look like jack squat was renovated. Theres dents in my walls, chipped paint on my cabinets, and the vinyl flooring is peeling off the ground. Oh, did I mention the horribly cracked window in my bedroom? On the first floor? I mentioned this the very first day I moved in, and my window still is horribly cracked, and I had to fix the gap in the glass myself with packaging tape. Its still not replaced 6 months later. In addition to this, there is a constant beeping from the elevator that you can hear all the way inside of your own apartment. Wanna hear your neighbors having sex? This is the perfect place to live. A motel has more privacy than this damn complex. Want to take a relaxing break on your patio? The whole complex can see you and the whole inside of your apartment from their own patio. I was told this place was pet friendly, how could it be pet friendly when their "designated" fenced in area for dogs is COMPLETELY damaged and broken? My puppy could escape in less than a second. Also, the pet waste garbages are OVERFLOWING with poop bags. When i say OVERFLOWING, this is an understatement. There is poop bags EVERYWHERE. There is poop EVERYWHERE. The smell is absolutely horrendous. Also, there is litter scattered almost EVERYWHERE around the complexes property. My dog is still young, and leaving around trash and bits of plastic that she could eat on a whim, is a risk for her death. They want to boast about their nice pools here, its anything BUT nice. The pools are infested with teenagers who live at the NEIGHBORING complex, they stay for all hours of the night, so good luck getting a good nights sleep. They trash the whole entire pool area, leaving the garbages overflowing with alcohol bottles, food, and other trash. The trash overflows into the pool area all over the floor making it look so raunchy. There are drug dealers who flock around and hang out in the parking lots of this complex and play their music to the maximum volume, you can hear their music and conversations from INSIDE your apartment. This place is an absolute scam. The maintenance men who take care of this place are just self-employed handymen who have no idea what they're doing or fixing. Not one thing that I need to have fixed has been fixed in this unit, no matter how many work orders i have put in. The new management here is horrible, all they care about is your rent on time. Oh and for some reason, they keep coming into my apartment saying its a "mandatory" maintenance check up. What the hell does that mean? Unless your coming to fix something that needs to be fixed, (which they haven't) Stay the hell out of my apartment. I wish I took a look at this place before they had me move in, otherwise i would have asked for my whole entire deposit back. The floor-plan on the website says theres a washer and dryer where the kitchen pantry is, theres no washer and dryer space in here. After i moved in, they tell me theres washer and dryer space ONLY in the 2+ bedroom units. I have to do my laundry in the "laundry facility" where people have stole my laundry and my clothes and stuff COUNTLESS amounts of times. Im so tired of this place and its shenanigans. Im ready for this lease to be OVER.

It's in my rental agreement to have a unit with a working washer and dryer. My original lease has an addition of payment for a washer and Dryer. My second and third lease has washer/Dryer included for all units. Are you no longer able to meet these standards? "Reply" Per your lease agreement addendum for 'washer and dryer', it doesn't state that we need to repair the "equipment" during your lease tenure. Yes, it states you must report damages, in which we noted, but like I have previously mentioned, we are not making repairs on the washer and dryer units. As for withholding rent, per the Florida statue, you must provide management with a certified letter via mail or provide written letter with a witness to the office stating issues in the apartment giving responsible time to make repairs. Rent for June must be paid in full and on time to avoid eviction. If you plan on withholding rent, a letter via mail must be sent 12 days BEFORE rent is due. If you are providing letter with a witness, it must be done 7 days BEFORE rent is due. You must also legally withhold by placing in an escrow account to ensure the courts the money is available. Also, to piggyback on my previous email, is it ok for maintenance to enter to make repairs on the toilet that you have mentioned in below messages?
