Thanks to my dryer being broken, it raining outside, and guests coming in for the weekend, I needed to drop in. I decided to wash and dry at the laundromat. Being totally honest, I was a little nervous using it since it's been so long. I'd seen pictures on our local city page about the new ownership and remodeling. It was nicely done and everything is brand new. I stopped in on a Thursday morning after dropping my kids off at school, so around 8:00am. I had the place to myself. There are options of sizes of washers, a machine to buy detergent/softener/dryer sheets, a change machine, pay via an app, and vending machines. There were a good amount of dryers. I really loved using the app to pay. I can't speak to cost because I'm not sure what a laundromat normally runs. While I'd rather be doing my laundry at home while tending to other tasks, this was a nice, quiet, environment. I was actually able to sit and read my book. I have no hesitations to come back if ever needed.

Much nicer, courteous, and "above and beyond" service than I expect these days. Further, in response to my questions, he described how they clean and press sport coats (I had a nice suit ruined once at a different cleaners, just trying to avoid a repeat), and it was very reassuring. Based on my experience there, I do recommend Crown Cleaners at 42nd Street.

I picked this one based on its current yelp rating compared to the others but wanted to also give my feedback. This is probably one of the most updated laundromats I've visited as it has newer machines covering load sizes up to 9 loads. The machines are also clearly marked as to which load size it allows. Floors needed a good sweeping but I still felt they were worthy of five stars based on their machines and cleanliness of the machines.

They have free wifi, vending machines, restrooms, icecreams, and even 2 foosballs tables among the other waiting tables. Very nice staff who frequently cleans the area to keep it crispy clean! I really like this place. Btw, it is within a culturally hispanic area, with a hispanic grocery market next door.
