What a hidden gem in a nondescript suburban neighborhood! Super friendly service, wonderful variety of dishes to try and some fun grocery store gems. There is only a small table with two chairs inside so food is best taken to-go, but worth the stop. I loved the lamb bun, lamb curry, pineapple pie (not too sweet and HUGE), turkey tail, coconut cream taro and lamb that was cooked like a pork belly which gave it such a good crisp.

Enjoying a special treat! The food is fantastic & we love supporting local businesses too. Thank you Park Ave. Polynesian Restaurant!

The dancers were amazing, their energy was vibrant and fun, and everyone -- from the keiki to the kūpuna -- absolutely loved the performance. My baby boy was mesmerized, and it meant so much to me that he was celebrated with a true piece of his heritage. Vivian, who helped me plan everything, was wonderful to work with. He listened to my ideas and was so accommodating, even as my needs shifted during the planning process. He made everything easy and stress-free. I'd absolutely recommend them for anyone planning a lū'au or celebration filled with aloha.

From the incredible music and energy of the dancers to the delicious, authentic food, everything came together seamlessly. The entire experience felt truly magical. I even attempted a birthday speech in Hawaiian (pretty sure I butchered a few words ), but the aloha spirit they brought into the room made it feel easy and heartfelt. Their team created an atmosphere full of joy, culture, and love--and seeing my daughter smile the way she did said it all. If you want a celebration filled with real aloha, amazing entertainment, and outstanding food, I can't recommend Islanders Dancers & Hawaiian Catering enough. Mahalo for helping us make her 13th birthday so special!

Today the building management where my office is located treated the…read moretenants to a catered lunch, and from the moment I walked up, I felt like I had accidentally wandered into a mini luau instead of a workday meal! Everyone with the catering service was wearing REAL plumeria leis, and the tables were decorated with beautiful tropical flower bouquets. I half expected someone to hand me a coconut and tell me my office had been relocated to paradise! I had the BBQ teriyaki chicken, kalua pulled pork, macaroni salad, mango-pineapple refresher, and pineapple upside down cupcakes--and let me just say, my taste buds put on a grass skirt and started celebrating. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and delicious. I honestly didn't think the kalua pulled pork would be my favorite, but surprise! It fully stole the show and ran off into the sunset with my heart. The macaroni salad was excellent, and the mango-pineapple refresher was so tropical that I was one sip away from doing the hula in the hallway! And pineapple upside down cupcakes? Come on now. That is not dessert--that is sunshine and sugar! Everything was so good that I actually went back to the floor where they were serving just to tell them how much I loved the food and service. I also took pictures because the world needs to know: if you need catering, hire these people immediately before I book them for my backyard luau! After checking out their website, I saw they also offer Polynesian music, hula dancers, and classic luau entertainment. So now, naturally, I am considering throwing a luau for absolutely no reason other than joy, pulled pork, and of wearing flowers in my hair. Mahalo for a fabulous catered lunch--this was festive, fun, delicious, and totally worthy of a happy little hula! Headed home to find my coconut bra and grass skirt!!

The rice was cooked perfect, spam and eggs and well, but the gravy was the star of the show. So tasty and went perfect with everything. The Island Chilaquiles were super yummy as well. Everything was cooked to perfection and the rice was a nice touch. Again, both similar to aloha stacks. We got the mango smoothie and the iced Hawaiian coffee. The mango smoothie tasted very fresh and not too sugary. The coffee was pretty basic but had a nice touch of cream on top There is indooor and outdoor seating and you order at the counter (nice and helpful people) and they bring it to your table. Scramblers also has a long line, but in comparison the wait was more reasonable. I've since removed the other restaurant from my list of places to go. Congrats to them for being so popular, but when people are forced to wait for an hour by default, it's an automatic turn off and they're losing customers. Anyway, while waiting in line at Scramblers we had time to look at the menu which is a big sign hanging over the counter. When we first walked in, though, the sign was still far away, so I also brought the menu up on my phone. I was glad there was a vegetarian Garden Crepe option and the cashier was accommodating when I asked for even more ingredients to be removed. It was packed inside, so when we were asked we told her we'd prefer to sit outside. Outside, there are small wooden signs with numbers on them and you go to the one you're assigned to. We were sat next to a tree which was appreciated because we got some shade. There's also a table with condiments if you want to grab a bottle of ketchup or anything else you might want. At the time I remembered thinking what a nice day it was to be sitting outside, but later learned the air quality was actually bad that day since there was a fire we didn't know about. Also, summers in general have bad air quality because the heat traps the pollution. Then again, even if we chose to sit inside, the door was open for people to line up, so we couldn't have escaped the bad air either way. Also, Scramblers is on the corner of a busy intersection and I saw one car cutoff another car at the turn and the other driver honk and yell at the other driver, so not exactly the most peaceful place to sit down and eat. Anyway, the food tasted good and I ate everything in one sitting. After being to this plaza a few times now, I've learned that it's best to take whatever parking spot you can get even if it's far from the place you're going to. Scramblers is especially difficult to get to, so it was a bit of a walk to and from our car. I've said it before in other reviews, but I curse whoever planned the layout of this plaza, like what were they thinking? Still, there are enough places for us to want to try out to keep coming back.
