I absolutely love this bowling alley. These lanes are always well upkept, friendly staff, and awesome pro shop. The pro shop is clean, well stocked, and organized. The snack shack is at the one end of the bowling lanes and very clean. The pro shop is by the entrance and easy to find. The arcade area has been redone. The scoring system computers are from the late 90's/early 2000's, but still work great! read more

Park Centre Lanes on Whipple Avenue has failed to demonstrate a commitment to serving all customers with dignity and respect. The owner decided that league money is more important than open bowling for people with intellectual disabilities after they already paid! He shut off their lanes in the middle of their game. Then when staff was advocating for the individuals by asking him to let them finish their game the owner decided that then was the appropriate time to say "what you're having a bad day because Kamala didn't win?" When did consumers in your place of business become less than due to being a female or someone with a handicap? This situation had nothing to do with politics and was completely inappropriate. If you agree with this man's actions then delete me now. If you know me or my family at all you know how much we stand for all human rights especially those with intellectual disabilities. The owner's actions and comments were unprofessional and unacceptable. I refuse to give any business my time and money that don't prioritize inclusivity and customer service. I took a large group from a college here for an event, and had called 2 weeks in advance to reserve lanes knowing that it would be busy on the weekend. When I arrived the lanes that we were going to utilize were still be occupied by a league. When I had called to reserve they had mentioned that we would be ready to bowl around 9:30pm. I waited until 9:45pm before speaking to someone again about the delay as the group was still at our lanes. I had asked the manager if it was possible to use other lanes that were open since had already been waiting. He said it would be inconvenient to do so since they would have to close a lane on either side of my group. Also our group, even though over the phone they had mentioned that the lanes were every other, had grouped all 30 ppl in my group one top of each other in 6 lanes. While we were waiting I had asked the young gentleman working if we could get our shoes so that when the time came we would be ready to go. He said no and that we should do it all at once when we were ready. The manager did let us get them once I asked him. The younger gentleman was very rude and disrespectful and talking negatively about my group in front of us and to his other coworkers. By 10pm we were still waiting and many other groups who had walked in were bowling before us, the group that had made the reservation. The manager, understandably didn't want to kick the group on our lanes out, but also did not provide any accommodation for us other than to wait. He also did not apologize once for the inconvenience of having to wait, which was a total of 45 minutes- 1 hour if you count the 15 minutes early I arrived prior to the rest of my group. Additionally, the bowling alley was overcrowded with people just hanging out and not bowling and many of the patrons were not wearing masks while traveling outside of their lane(if they were bowling). I was extremely dissatisfied with the service received. Did not receive an apology or anything else for the inconvenience and was met with rude and disrespectful staff. I will never be utilizing this bowling alley again and will be telling my colleagues at the college to not use this venue as well. read more

I was not impressed with this place. I used to go here all the time as a teenager and really enjoyed it then. But there is absolutely no organization there. I was told by a friend that I should call ahead and reserve lanes because they fill up fast. So I called around 2:00 pm to reserve lanes for around 9:30 pm. The guy I talked to seemed to have no desire to help me out. I asked if I could reserve lanes and he told me that I should call back later and speak to someone who works the night shift. Then, I asked him if he thinks I need to reserve lanes or can I just walk in and he told me he doesn't work nights so he doesn't know. So I called in around 6 pm and they told me that they don't reserve lanes. It's first come first serve. Why couldn't the guy tell me that before? So, we show up to the bowling alley around 9:30 pm because that's when open bowling begins. It was probably 9:40 I guess so we were a little late but I didn't think it would be difficult to get lanes. I go to the counter and they tell me that there's going to be an hour wait for 2 lanes. There were about 6 empty lanes that no one was using, but we couldn't use those because they were reserved. Absolutely terrible customer service. We were going to leave but we had to wait for the rest of our friends to show up so we just waited for a lane to open up. We only waited about 15-20 minutes because the people with reservations didn't show up. We ended up having a really good time and had no problems the rest of the night. Bowling is just like bowling anywhere else, but the old lady behind the bar has no clue what she is doing!

This by far is one of the rudest, most non-customer friendly establishments in the area. We called inquiring about open bowling and the gentlemen that answered hung up on us twice in a row. The first time I thought it was a mistake, but then he did it again. I then got on the website and noticed that they did not open until much later. The children were off school so we were trying to find something to do for the day. Apparently, bowling at Park Centre was not an option. However, answer the phone in a professional manner and tell us your closed, don't just hang up. I would recommend finding any place to go rather that here. If you are going to spend money, spend it somewhere that appreciates and welcomes new business. read more

Had sons 7th birthday here yesterday. Party started at 3 but we had to wait on the other group who was ahead of us, so we started late ( about 15min) some of the lanes i reserved didnt get to finish their game which would have finished if we got our full hr of bowling. The room that the actual party was in was small maybe fit 20 people and i had 30 so people were standing and eating. The staff was not very friendly read more

The Alley itself is good. The lanes are great and never any problems with the lanes breaking down. My only bad note is: Bad bartenders!!! I gave the one bartender a $50 for a Ten dollar tab, he gave me back 7 dollars. When I brought it up to him, he said, "Oh, I didn't look at the amount." REALLY?!?! The older lady, which I believe is the owner is ALWAYS so rude!!! She is only nice to the older bowlers. When I spend money in that place, I at least expect a "hello" or a smile. read more

I would never attend or host a party at this location. People who work at this location are rude and act like you are bothering them when you ask for something. Lanes are nice and restrooms are clean but I am willing to drive a few extra miles to get better customer service. read more

This place sucks. The old lady at the bar cut us off after only like 4 drinks each. There was 8 of us and we were keeping to ourselves and having fun within our group. She asked to see my ID 3 times then told the guy at the desk we aren't aloud to at any more games.... Lame. If you're looking to have fun don't come here.... They only like old people. read more

Park Centre Lanes is a fun and relaxing place for casual bowling. Now that Ohio is smoke-free, it is even better. The music is enjoyable, and they have a small concession stand that will make whole pizzas. The "Foxfire Lounge" is a bit dated, but a comfortable place to have a drink. I have never been on a League and have only went for glow-bowling. read more
