Once received, the second "new" motor didn't work properly. Dane once again refused to take responsibility and said that they no longer service a boat as old as mine. (They did when they took my money) Now the scone "new motor" from them needs to be replaced. I have a motor that has been in the boat since before I bought it in 2017 that works perfectly, and 2 of Lakeside Marine's motors have gone bad under the exact same conditions. Dane pretended like he was going to replace the motor to stall me, now the only thing this company will respond to is a law suit. Mary was delightful, and the service manager went above and beyond for me. The cost of service was less than I expected. Buying a boat is not quite like buying a car, who you buy your boat from really matters. First off, repairs on a used boat can be a costly surprise. Secondly, I keep boats for a long time (last Nautique for 20 years), thus you need a partner to help service through the years. Based on my experience of a lifetime of buying stuff, I can attest that I am so glad that I bought my boat from Watersports Central. The lot was half full. If you're eager to go boating, get here early. I know it sucks not to sleep in and drink later in day, but the parking can be a pain in the ass I feel like if you get here too late. Checking In - My friend and another person were Captains... aka, learn the boat stuff. Took around 20ish mins? We bought a ton of us with us. Food, drinks, etc. I think the only rule is no glasses? I'd advise to bring a ton of water bottles, a ton of booze, mini soda cans, trash bags (we forgot!), and solo cups (we forgot this too). After we found out spot on the lake, we just chilled. As we got back to the dock, the folks that helped us earlier were there as well. Got us back into the boat spot. Not sure how much it was... but this was totally fun. I'd come here to rent a boat!
