Bought a Nautique from Tommy Lee and the whole experience was exceptional. I showed up unannounced, bought a used boat without testing it, and it's such a nice boat. The experience was straight forward, easy, of quality. I have since had my boat serviced there and that experience was exceptional as well. Mary was delightful, and the service manager went above and beyond for me. The cost of service was less than I expected. Buying a boat is not quite like buying a car, who you buy your boat from really matters. First off, repairs on a used boat can be a costly surprise. Secondly, I keep boats for a long time (last Nautique for 20 years), thus you need a partner to help service through the years. Based on my experience of a lifetime of buying stuff, I can attest that I am so glad that I bought my boat from Watersports Central. We were invited by Chad to attend the Atlanta Boat Show. He left us tickets at the Will Call window... We were able to meet all the folks from WaterSports Central and were impressed with their knowledge and friendliness... I continue to find more evidence that this business, it's owner, and Chad Hodge in particular are all dedicated to looking out after their customers with the hope of developing a long term relationship. I priced out the same boat at another dealer and found that dealer to be 12 to 15% higher than Chad's offering. There were several "tricks" that the other dealer tried to push up the price, plus they pushed really hard. Chad's approach is low key and honest. read more

I purchased my Xstar from Mike Daugherty back in 2011. My three boys where all early teenagers and it was an amazing surprised when I pulled this awesome boat into the driveway. The memories we have from running this boat around our cottage lake for the last seven years are priceless. They even let me drive it once in awhile. Everyone could have fun on this boat. Even us old guys could have fun surfing behind it with zero risk of being to sore to get out of bed the next day. Wow!! They are my local Mastercraft dealer. I was having trouble with my boat. I shredded the impeller and it was running hot. Ordered the part and within a week it was in for me to pick up. When I went to pick it up, I was given a basic tutorial by Tommy. I we home & did just as he instructed. My boat runs great now & I was able to repair it on my own! The guys at the Seneca, SC location are great! Took my Mastercraft in to them after a HORRIBLE experience at a marine service shop in Hartwell, GA. Tinsley, the service manager, couldn't have been more personal and helpful - among other things, finding me a prop at about half the cost of what he originally thought it might be. Jason, the parts guy, jumped all over getting the right parts FAST. And Adam went above and beyond - taking a personal interest in diagnosing, repairing, replacing and testing - as if it was his boat. They actually put the boat in the water 3 different times - first to help diagnose some suspicious issues (I had only taken it in for a new prop and stuffing box - but they found some serious problems), then to test out their work. And finally, they delivered the boat and Adam had me take him out in it to make sure I was totally satisfied. I had my son and a bunch of his friends coming for Columbus day weekend and only had a week to do all the work. The short of it is, they did more in 6 days than Mark's Marine did in over 6 months - and did it right, including redoing some of the shoddy work. The boat runs like a champ now - smoother, quieter and faster. I've got some fiberglas work that needs to be done thanks to hurricane Irma last year, and they're going to take care of that this winter. This was among the very best service experiences I've ever had for anything (and I'm old enough to have experienced quite a bit with houses, cars, boats, computers, appliances, etc.) I wouldn't take my boat anywhere else. read more

We drove to Buford to purchase a pre-owned boat. While at the dealer, everyone was really nice and helpful. We spent the whole day there because there were things that didn't work and had to be repaired. We were told that they would be available if anything else went wrong...blah blah! The first day we took it out there were some problems. We have called and left multiple messages, told we would get a return call. We still haven't had that return call after a month!! We would not recommend this dealership. Lots of promises and no follow thru! read more
