With having a first child, pregnancy is scary, especially in the last 4 weeks. I had a couple scares and went in a couple times to get checked. All those times with false labor pains the nurses were kind and friendly. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. When I was finally admitted the nursing staff took great care of me. Helped with dealing with the contractions while waiting for my epidural and got me anything I needed in general. The Dr who performed my epidural was very nice and friendly. He walked me through the process as he did it and it really helped to keep me calm through the pain of both the contractions and the needles. My epidural lasted all the way through pushing, he really knew what he was doing!! Here, the delivering doctor, is whoever is on call, so it was not my original OB. I was extremely impressed with how I was treated throughout the whole process. I honestly believe that if it wasn't for the staff here, I wouldn't have had as great of an experience for my first time. They helped me with pushing and I believe they even saved me from any severe tearing. The recovery rooms are really nice, fit a lot of visitors at once and just felt very comfortable in general. The food was delicious! And I highly suggest getting the bananas foster french toast when you are there! The best part for recovery was that they had a nursery. I was able to have someone look after my baby so I could get a couple hours sleep before her next feed. I don't know how I would have handled everything without the ability to get the tiny break to regain some energy. I'm looking forward to returning for my next pregnancy and delivery. They know what they are doing here and they know how to treat their patients right!

My daughter recently gave birth at this hospital and it was the worst experience a mother could…read morehave. She had a Covid test ( which was not fully completed) and it came back positive. She was told if she had another one, it would change her care completely. She had the second one done and it was negative. It didn't seem to matter though despite being told this. She and her husband were not able to see or hold her baby after birth. She wasn't able to clean up or shower and was released less than 24 hours after delivery. There are more details too, but just too much to put in this review. I cannot even believe this horrible experience. This is a point in your life that you always remember. She was robbed of all of this. She had no bonding time with her baby, no photos, nothing. And she did NOT have Covid which was clearly shown in her negative test and no symptoms. My other daughter gave birth 3 weeks later and changed her hospital because of this. She ( and all of us) are so glad she did. I give this hospital zero stars!

The technician lady was very nice and talked to me the entire time answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable! I was sent home 8 weeks pregnant with ultrasound pictures without having to ask ( not sure if that's normal it's my first baby and my sister who has three kids told me she didn't get one until she was 12+ weeks pregnant )! As in it took me 6 months to see someone purely due to mistakes on their end. Also I just saw my doctor and she refused to spell the name of my suspected disorder for me or put it in the virtual visit chat, despite my hearing loss. She assured me that a 3rd party provider would make the information available to me, so it wasn't necessary. the 3rd party provider who she works with a lot won't give it to me for another month, and nobody at the clinic will call me back to give me the name of the disorder, or give me the report the person I'm being referred to will need, or even tell me where I can sign a release to have that send over. I'm told it may be days before anyone gets back to me even about the name of the disorder. Absurd. I expected some delays and lateness from a respected specialist in a small field. I didn't expect significant barriers on every single contact. Happy to have my referral and move on. EDIT: Finally got the name of the thing she was referring me for and it's a form of dwarfism and has nothing to do with any of my reported symptoms. I'm above average height. So either she didn't even google the thing or she knows it's absurd doesn't care. The report also suggested I may have the thing I was trying to see the doctor about initially, but she LAUGHED at my noting that the symptoms had changed in the past year and refused the diagnosis, or even referrals for physical therapists who know about the general category of problem I'm having. I suggest avoiding.

I've never dealt with Smiley before yesterday, and I will never deal with him again…read more I called with questions about medication that was prescribed to me at discharge from the hospital. I have a pretty rare medical condition, and information I found indicated that the medications prescribed could cause issues. And yes, I know there's a lot of false information online, which is Why I Called. I told him what happened to me and he basically called me a liar. I had a severe reaction to Zofran while the paramedics were working on me. My blood pressure, according to paramedics, was 80/40. I told him that and he said, verbatim, "No it wasn't." I told him the paramedics had to try 3 times to even get a blood pressure on me. He said, verbatim, "No they didn't." My husband was in the room when paramedics were there and saw/heard all of this. I told Smiley I was concerned because my condition is rare and some doctors aren't familiar with it. The doctors have told me this. Smiley said that wasn't true. He said that since the meds were prescribed in hospital there is no issue and I should just take them. So aside from giving me bad medical advice, he was rude and dismissive. I can't help but think that if I was a man I would have gotten better treatment. I don't know if Voyage records phone calls like some businesses do, but if they do I would highly recommend they listen to the call. That being said, everyone else at the Voyage clinic in Osseo are absolutely wonderful and I've gotten great care from them. Big shoutout to Mr. Horn and the rest of the staff.

I have worked in various health care facilities (not Voyage HC) and know that this choice is right for my family.
