That trip exceeded expectations. He came back with an intensity for the game and skills that I don't think he would have received otherwise. Being put into challenges against kids that play in the UK, was like a lightbulb going off for him. I traveled with him on the UK trip and it was everything Futbol for 10 days. The kids were expected to carry themselves with respect and dignity and represent the club and the US well. The experience of visiting 5+ professional stadiums and attending 2 professional games while there added to the whole experience. Before we landed back in the U.S., my son was already asking which Road to Pro camp can he attend to try to be selected again for the 2028 trip. Highly recommend this club. We have seen some players come and go but my son is loyal and committed to Relentless and we trust the program for his growth!

We started with NISD soccer and then transitioned our two older boys to the Dragons Soccer Club…read more Both boys (2012 & 2014 birth years) played on the 2011 Boys Team. This year they expanded the boys teams to have a 2012, 2013, and 2014 team. Our 2014 boy now plays on the 2013 team and supports the 2012 team when needed. Our 2012 player plays on the 2012 team and assists older teams when needed. They have both grown immensely in skill. They love the game and as a parent I've been very happy with the club. The club has been awesome so far. The Dragons Soccer Club is by far the most affordable in San Antonio and competes against the same teams where the parents are paying $200-300 a month and $250-450 for a kit. Each coach picks what leagues they participate in for their respective teams. Some teams are in 1 league while others might be in 3. Our 2013 team is currently in SASL, while the 2012 and 2014 teams are in SASL and WDDOA. Our kids practice 2x a week for 1.5 hrs. For keepers there is an extra practice, goalie specific. I do feel the need to mention that the coaches, assistant coaches, and staff are all volunteer and not paid. This keeps the club affordable for those who want to play at a competitive level. Everything is at cost. These coaches are dedicating their precious time to develop these players literally because they love what they do. There is no financial gain for them. Just figured that should be mentioned because many parents come in thinking the coaches are paid. Last year I also had an opportunity to play with the Women's UPSL team and couldn't have loved it more. I truly enjoyed my teammates and the camaraderie we had during our season. After feeling like I was doing nothing for myself for years (full time employee and mom to 3 boys) I finally felt like I was part of something special again. As a person who was always part of an athletic team growing up it felt great to be on a team again. My teammates were so kind, patient, and always willing to assist and teach me new skills. Coach Bobby was amazing and really knew how to move players around and put them in positions that benefited the team as a whole. As a player, I have enjoyed the club even more so than as a parent. I'm also not normally a review type of person, but as a player and a parent I figured I would share my experience with you all. Tryouts are generally at the end of May. If you are interested in joining a team / our club I'm happy to answer questions... it just might take me a bit to get back to you.

This summer we needed a place to beat the heat while doing sports. Soccer Zone was easy to sign up…read morefor. The kids get one hour of practice during the week and one hour of games on the weekend. Practice is grouped together by age, so for us, there were a ton of kids. It is a bit different not to practice with your team but it works. There is a registration fee (due every season) and a member fee (due once a year). The child will get a plain jersey. The fields are very small. The atmosphere for the kids is relaxed and fun so if you are looking for something competitive this may not be the place. Not many indoor soccer fields to use in this area so glad there is something. Although the price is higher for one soccer season, they offer a variety of things that the other soccer programs do not and vice versa. My son is happy to play during summer and I am happy not to roast in the sun. There is a bar upstairs with light snacks. It is only accessible via stairs no elevator available. There are a few of downsides... Frist downside is the lack of seating. On days of practice with so many parents and kids the seats go fast and if you don't snag one early will be standing for the duration of practice. The same could be said for game days. If you have bad knees, have little ones, or are elderly would suggest bringing a folding chair just in case. Second, the front desk gets busy often and the wait is long. With the number of people coming and going for practices and games throughout the day, it would be nice to increase staff to accommodate the influx of visitors. Third, during practice/games parking lot gets full quickly. If you are inviting family to view the games would suggest carpooling. Fourth, the other sports programs we had signed up for had 2 days of practice than games on the weekend. With the number of kids during practice, it would be nice to have a second practice day. If you are looking for one-to-one coaching, it won't happen with the number of kids. It's more a collective group practice and spot corrections are done here and there so if your kids need more direction with getting moves/drills, they may struggle. Fifth, the fields are small. We had signed up here before the pandemic and compared to now the size of the field has changed. The fields used to be twice the size it is now. They reduced the size of both the indoor and outdoor fields. I get that it's a business for profit and probably cutting the fields was a way to get more customers signed up.

5 start review for everyone BUT the head manager of the facility…read more HEAD manager plays favorites, may be a little racist based on conversations I've had with him or witnessed with him talking to people of color. He does not know how to properly train his staff or handle situations. No manager should say well if statement is true then i will have to fire that employee. Who says that to players, and that is not the way to go about the situation. Privately talk to the employee and correct the situation and train more no need to go straight to termination. Some things he says to players can be condescending, and inappropriate for a manger of his status. He is telling players where they cant play even though they are paying money to play. Prices are getting a bit extreme and I've noticed leagues are smaller then way before
