I was just surprised today with an invoice for a Permit, no one told us we needed or it was going to cost more. Its for $321.00 Plus they told us we would need to purchase and install our own batteries and do some other things we did not know how to do. We are a small office - not fire techs. After spending 1,000's of dollars for their 'top of the line' security solution for a place I own, what I got was a recurring bill each year of close to 900 bucks. What I didn't get was a system that ever worked, was perpetually in need of battery replacements and when I called for service was always outside my availability window to sit around waiting for the next round of excuses for why my system couldn't connect to the different sensors. And there was ZERO account management. In 5 years wouldn't you have called at least once and Noted the recurring alarms on sensors going off and the fact that I was NEVER able to arm the house in away mode? It never worked! Wouldn't you care about that if you were selling a service? Not these guys!
