He is a very understanding no nonsense kind of doctor. I am a very strong personality so I need someone who can call me out and bring me back down to earth. He has a keen knack for reading people and working off of that. It has been an eye opening experience and he helps me see things in a way I wouldn't have seen it before. Unfortunately he is in partial retirement, but I have noticed his practice has a steady flow of clients. My daughter and husband see Dr. Sandra Reinhold and they have had a lot of success with her as well. She is compassionate, observant and gives her patients a direction to help attain their goals in therapy and be more successful and overcome their issues. I have gone in a few family sessions with her and have been thoroughly impressed with her approach. This group has really helped me and my family work towards healing after a long and hard road. I am blessed to have them in my life to assist and guide me when I feel helpless or can't find my own way. They also do trauma therapy and work with all sorts of cases and issues. Not sure if they are still taking patients, but either way they will be able to direct you in the right direction. They are knowledgeable, experienced and connected.

Our children were in the same school district for most of their lives. Then we moved over Christmas…read morebreak 2019, and they started at a new school after the holidays. That can be challenging enough on its own for kids under normal circumstances. But then March 2020 hit, and our kids, who hadn't really got their footing in the new school district yet, had the Pandemic turn it all even more upside down. They did online school for a year and a half, not returning to the physical classroom until September 2021. Before this return, my husband and I knew we wanted to get them some additional support. I landed on Barb's practice after reviewing my insurance options in the area, and liking her website explanation of her services for children. We were initially put on her waiting list in the spring, but Barb anticipated slots for our kids opening by late summer. When we started sessions with Barb, I knew we made a great choice for our kids. They are 14 and 11 years old, and Barb does an exceptional job uniquely meeting them both where they are in their adolescent development. She's clearly cut out for this line of work: just a purely warm and empathetic presence for her young clients. Beyond her soothing persona, she is wonderfully effective too in working with the kids on real hands-on strategies for coping with various stressors. Barb accepts our insurance plan, and made understanding and processing billing very simple (we're actually fully covered). The only challenge is she is very booked, so finding a time that we could bring in our kids was tricky. But we thankfully managed to make it work. Our children rotate and see Barb every other week, plus some additional online sessions during their respective in-between weeks as needed. Barb can conduct in-person and online sessions as clients prefer. In person, she has two office options, but I am only familiar with this East Amherst location. It is in an easy to find office building on Transit, with plenty of lot parking. If you are looking for therapy support for your children, I can't recommend Barb and her practice highly enough. You may be placed on her waitlist initially, but it is well worth the wait. She is a fantastic support line for her clients.

ive been seeing a provider here for meds for the last year and just keep getting frustrated in…read moredifferent ways. i get lectured, i get fined, forgotten entirely when i am late for work, i get over charged, and then when i call to talk to a person i wait 20 minutes on the line and then get sent to voicemail. as soon as i can i am finding another doctor. the providers here act like they do not care about you and then lecture you about your life and treatment like you're an idiot. and then they send you to voicemail after waiting.

I have been a patient at Williamsville psych for over a year and I got dropped from this practice…read moretoday after sleeping through a whopping 2 appointments. Both had been pretty unwillingly scheduled at 9 am! No warning, no nothing, just my NP (not a doctor) giving me a call saying I've been terminated from the practice, after scheduling an appointment with the front office 20 minutes prior. As someone with a disorder such as mine, I was able to find a new office and a new doctor, with no referral within the hour, so I guess it was no big deal for me? What does that tell you about Williamsville Psychiatry though. Do they care about their patients and their progress? Or are they more concerned about the business they lose that given day when a patient misses and needs to reschedule an appointment. I'll leave her name anonymous, but as for my NP (again, not a doctor), she may be the most stale, plain, and honestly inhospitable worker I've come across in the medical field. It just kind of feels like a slap in the face too when I drop lump sums of money coming here, just to have my "doctor" (NP) rush all of my appointments. She gives me the vibe that she just plays candy crush or something in between all of her patients. I'd give zero stars, but 1 star is okay, only because the aloof NP in question was pretty hot.
