I was always happy with all the dr's here and appreciated that we ALWAYS saw a dr at each visit. There was rarely a wait of more than a few minutes, which is great when you have a baby or toddler. The dr's were always very supportive and reassuring, even when my son had trouble gaining weight as a newborn (they continued to encourage my breastfeeding) and later when he had some very delayed gross motor skills. I would have stayed with these pediatricians forever if we hadn't moved!

Dr. Joel and staff always listen and respond in a caring manner. They go out of their way to accommodate you when your child is sick. The small practice allows for a personal experience each visit. Sheridan Peds is a wonderful, loving, and nurturing practice. I feel as though they are part of my family. I wish they could treat my children into adulthood.

He told me he was checking to make sure everything was okay in there-such as herpes. I was young, a virgin, and didn't understand. I haven't been to a doctor since because it brings back these traumatic experiences everytime, and I'm 33 now. Please go into the room with your child wherever you take them. My parents never went in the room with me and stayed in the waiting lobby. I saw him for clinical depression which i still have but I had to see him to get my medicines prescribed. He made my depression far worse from inappropriately touching me in ways I didn't understand doctors aren't supposed to do at the time but felt off about it. I trusted him. I'd bet the reviews relative to 'controlled' or ADHD meds might have more going on than those patients care to admit. I frequently have to leave messages days in a row with each department to ensure call back. Bills have disappeared, reappeared etc. Today I had a 930am appointment scheduled and verified via email and text, Franklin street doors and lights were locked and off. No one answered calls or knocks on windows. Received a call and voicemail at 10:15am (45 minutes after scheduled appointment and 75 minutes after the office is supposed to open daily,) apologizing stating the receptionist 'had an appointment.' SO DID I lol! Why didn't the doctor I was scheduled to see come see why his patient wasn't there? Weak. Poor form.

As the caregiver of a person that has need of Psychiatric services I find this practice to have…read moresomething that many lack: Patience and Compassion. I have interacted with 2 of the Psychiatrists in this practice in that capacity; Dr Ghosh and Dr. Tan. Both of these Doctors take the necessary time to understand the issues surrounding their patients needs and show a penchant to avoid over prescribing potentially unnecessary medicines. Most importantly however that I noted is most Psychiatrists I've ever interacted with just focus on the maintenance of a patients' mental health, both of these practitioners have shown their willingness to create a road map of recovery that actively looks to see their patient overcome their mental health challenges. There is a stigma in our culture about mental health issues. Considering 36% of the US population reported some level of incidence of Anxiety or Depression related disorders (i.e just over 1/3 of our population) it seems silly that this stigma even still exists. With practitioners like these it makes it easier to cope with the challenges of mental illness.

I asked for toddler activities that I could get involved with and again I wasn't on a list. If you're not on their list don't bother they don't care.
