There is no way to work up through master certification without getting coached yourself. And something magical happened. I remembered that stupid raisin and thought about being mindful in all aspects, physical, emotional, and spiritual. I struggled for a year or so trying to do it alone, and finally contacted Maria about three years ago. Thank goodness for her patience. I struggled, really, really painfully struggled. Completely ridiculous. If you can't manage your schedule, don't book that many patients. The only decent part of the visit was the NP, who was actually kind and personable. The rooms were clean and the front desk did their job. But none of that excuses the lack of basic professionalism. The office was decorated nicely and gave a comfortable atmosphere. Prior to paying $300 for a peptide I was told it would take a "a week or two" but after a month visit she had no recollection of my purchase. She said she would order again and it would take about a week. I waited approx. two more weeks and still had no call for the peptide and respectfully asked for a refund and to cancel future appointments - I lost faith in something important like a health care provider. I value transparency, accountability, organization, and accuracy when dealing with something as serious as my health. I received a $120 refund - she kept $180 "consultation fee" and told me I signed her policy of no refunds for services and products rendered. I HAVE NO PRODUCT! Apparently the $300 Sermorelin peptide is only $120 and her fee is $180. She defended her unethical behavior by blaming the second portion of the wait (2 weeks) on the hurricane but will not take accountability for her mistake leaving me out $180 and no services nor products rendered. I called trying to sort this out with her and was treated with attitude. I am not in the business of providing negative reviews but think twice about trusting your health to someone who is kind when you agree with her but when questioned and held accountable whacks you with a $180 fee - more than half of the total cost of the product. I enjoyed my meeting with Ann Marie. She's very sweet and calming, and she listens to you and cares what you're saying. I originally came to Synergy because I had worked with Jen Turesky before. She's fantastic. She knows what she's talking about and she won't let you off easy. At the same time, she won't let you be too hard on yourself either. She's always willing to work with you. Just let them know you want to see Jen and you can always meet with her after your appointment. Dr. Scott meets with you about your prescriptions, and he is so thorough and nice. He gives you such detailed instructions and goes over everything with you to make sure you understand. It was so nice to have someone right there in the office to go over that aspect of it. Dr. Caruana was my assigned surgeon and he's great as well. I had absolutely no fear that he was an expert in this surgery. I think he told me he's done 1000+ gastric sleeves? I couldn't believe how nice he was in the hospital, too. He was so much nicer than you'd expect a surgeon to be. Also...Misty and Christina, the PAs, are as nice as can be. They perform their surgeries out of ECMC, which freaked me out at first. I had heard awful things and had never been there. It seemed weird that such a nice suburban office would use ECMC. WELL! That surgical ward was super nice! From the waiting area onward it was clean, bright, modern, etc. My room, which was private by the way, was like a modern hotel room!
