Besides parties they've got decorations/decor for the holidays too. Staff working the balloon area were very friendly and super helpful! I was pretty impressed with them. Very friendly folks! I needed to pre-order balloons for pick-up. Their website was easy to navigate to get that done. My only complaint was that my confirmation didn't include the details of my order (quantity, color, pick-up date / time). However, with one quick call to the store, they were able to verify my information. When I went in to pick up it was CROWDED and a lot of people in line. However, I spotted my order and was able to ask an employee if I could take and go. She quickly and with a smile just asked me to confirm my name and I was on my way. I wish they were closer to my home, but they were close to my destination with the balloons, so I'm grateful. Highly recommend. read more

I'm not sure what happened with some of the reviews that were ragging on the teenage workers. my experience was delightful. I was greeted at the door. one nice young lady showed me what I was looking for and another asked if I was ready to check out. a third rushed over to the register and did just that. sometimes I think people that write bad reviews just have no empathy or just walk around looking for a fight. don't let those people ruin a great store, with employees that work with a pleasant attitude. read more

Owner's are rude, unaccommodating, and has no idea what's happening in their store. I rented a helium tank and was told "if inflated the night before the party we were having they would last till the party" by an employee. After spending close to 3 hours inflating all the balloons I went to bed and checked on them the next morning to find 90% of them on the ground. I called the store then the owner contacted me. I told her what the employee had told me but was told she was working that shift and had heard the conversation. Fun thing is that I was standing at least 10 feet away and half the time she was inflating balloons. After trying to work something out and being called a liar multiple times I was continually met with no accommodation, Hostility, and intimidation tactics another family member spoke with the owner and after a long time talking and arguing the store owner said she would DISCOUNT 50% off balloons if we brought the helium tank back (I believe it was due to saying I would dispute the charge through the card company). Will NEVER EVER shop here again. Buyers Beware!!!! read more

HORRIBLE DO NOT SHOP OR WORK HERE. This was my little sisters first job. With excitement she worked efficiently and always talked about the new things she learned. She has been struggling with mental health so after months here she put in her two weeks. After her two weeks ended they called her for help with additional shifts. Though she's been in and out of the hospital with sickness we had a family member pass AND SCHOOL she still showed up to complete the job. The other day she was on FaceTime with a customer for roughly 40 minutes to get the outline of an order. The customers husband came in to tip my little sister personally with $100. She was so excited to receive her first ever work tip- He told her it was only for her thanked her for taking the time to talk to his wife on face time and said with your skills you will go far in life. She felt honored and proud of herself. After she received this tip members of the staff demanded she split the tip. They felt entitled to something that was given just to her. Anyways grown woman and men are texting a 16 year old girl calling her names over a tip that would be split 20 bucks each way. They are making a 16 year old with already bad mental health feel horrible after a job well done. Now I'm worried about her safety. I'm in disbelief that when I called the store the owner wouldn't even talk to me. I can't believe this is her experience with a first job and that grown adults are texting such horrible things to a child when they know she's been struggling, but not only that she's been comming in to help even after her 2 weeks ended. They have treated her kindness with disrespect. This is harassment and I will be taking steps to ensure it stops. Don't give your money to such terrible owner !! They have no respect for their workers! They are selfish and horrible to their staff !! Maybe if they paid their staff more they wouldn't be so upset over a 20 dollar tip ?! THAT she earned and they felt entitled too. No job I've had in my life allows texting coworkers outside of shift like that HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. The owner threatened her that if she didn't bring all the money back that the customer gave her to split he wouldn't give her a recommendation for any further jobs. (Also just to mention if you're still reading ) My sister doesn't want her name mentioned but it starts with an M and older woman sent her a 7 paragraph text calling her names and saying how terrible of a worker she is because of this whole tip situation. Even though she's been outstanding and has been told this before. It's honestly so sad to see a grown woman be so cruel to a child. Not that I think management cares, but I hope you don't keep someone on staff that cusses out children at a party store :) I don't care if this bad review gets deleted I will be posting it on all Parker Facebook groups and making the texts public on social media. What an absolute joke of an establishment. She also said she didn't know it was such a big deal and already offered to split the tip and is still getting paragraphs of how dissatisfied they are with her and her character because she accepted a tip someone gave her and didn't immediately hand it out to everyone. She kept it because it was given to her and the man said it was only for her. Even after she offers to split it the next day they still send her harassing text messages. Then still had the audacity to ask if she was comming in to complete yet another shift they asked her to work after her two weeks was up. I hope management and the "team" knows if they contact her again I will be going to to police. read more

I dropped two things and I thought I had picked it up when they walked over and called me and my friend childish and threatened to kick us out because this is a "family owned" environment. I came in last Friday looking for Batman items for my kids birthday today (Wednesday). The gal was very helpful and showed me an entire Batman section and showed me some Mylar balloons that I know my kid would absolutely love. I asked how long the balloons would last and she said 7 days, so I told her my wife would stop in on Sunday to get some. I bought a few Batman items and left excited to get the balloons and set up for my kid's birthday. On Sunday my wife got 4 balloons and we stored them in a closet (no temperature issues or anything that can damage the balloons). On Tuesday night we pulled out the balloons and decorations to set up for the party. To our dismay 2 of the balloons were completely deflated and on the ground. I didn't buy these at a dollar store, I bought them at a store with party in the title, this isn't an issue I should have run into. I am completely furious, my kid wanted balloons more than anything. The only reason I'm not giving this store 1 star is because my kid loved the store so much and with it being her birthday I must have a soft spot. read more

So disappointed with the owner. Ordered a special graduation banner for my daughter. Went and picked it up the day before we needed it, looked horrible the gold was green. They told me they were having issues with the gold, would try again. I asked my oldest daughter if she could pick it up for me, I had to take my senior to pick her diploma up. When she picked it up she told them it looked better, but wanted me to see it. I saw it still rolled up and it was awful. I didn't use it was upset and disappointed how bad it looked. I left it rolled up until I brought it back. WOW! We are trying to support our small business during this time and the owner behaved horribly. She argued, grabbed it out of my hands, told me "well it''s personalized etc. I told her this is not was expected from you. She went on and on with me told me I was yelling at her. I had my mask ON! Another issue. When we walked in there was customers in the store the employees had no masks on! When she was finally refunding my money for the banner, she slid her mask off her face. I get that we are all stressed during this time in our lives, however this behavior she showed was totally 100% unacceptable. Shame on you. How do you think I was feeling? I purchased some electronics items, decorations that require batteries, and their return policy on those is that they are for exchange only. Not for credit or money back. They told me this when I bought them, but my understanding was that I could exchange them for another electronic item within the same department, not necessarily the exact same one. Unfortunately, the items I purchased did not work well. I bought several of the same thing and they all had the same problem. I took them back and they said that I could exchange them for others of the same item. I didn't want to waste more time trying to get more cheap, faulty items to work so I decided not to exchange them. In the future, I won't buy electronic gadgets from there. I'll look on Amazon for highly rated items instead. read more

We hosted our grandmother's 100th birthday this past weekend and Party America was fantastic at handling the balloons. They have a large variety of options at competitive pricing and also offer delivery which was wonderful (no one in south Denver offers this). Cindy was wonderful to work with over the phone, and made everything really easy on our end. Beyond expectations on customer service! When I called looking for "something shamrock" for a close friend in the ICU (no flowers, no balloons, no fun), Cindy put together a gift covered in shamrocks that was "hospital-approved" and she DELIVERED it herself... on St. Patrick's Day... an hour after I called her. St. Patrick's Day is special to my friend, and she needs the luck of the Irish right now. Cindy is an angel. She really came through for us, and didn't take advantage of my distance (out of state) and desperate need to get shamrocks to someone in a bad spot. Six times. Six times I've gotten a dozen or more balloons from here. And I've never, ever had one pop (well, that wasn't under the direct influence of a toddler at the time). Most of our balloons have lasted for days or more. Never just randomly explode. Well never until today that is. Today while the younger girl working was filling our balloons they were popping already. She popped at least three while we were in the store, two from our order. I should have worried then, but I took the balloons anyway- I didn't have time to screw around and wait for another order, and I figured "well they must know what they're doing, they wouldn't just send me out with bad balloons..." Five previous times and no unexplained popping. I put the balloons in back of our SUV like always. I sat down and buckled my seatbelt. *BANG* another one popped right behind my toddlers. Any other time I would have gone back in, but with both kids in tow and everyone buckled into their car seats I was prepared to just write it off. So I drove away, one balloon poorer. Five minutes later on Parker road- *BANG*. No reason. All balloons still in the normal spot out of reach of anyone, just hanging in the back. Two down. I called Party America when I got home. Said, hey just wanted to let you know that some of my balloons popped before I was even out of the parking lot. The response? "Well, balloons are temperamental things you know." So I explained, half a dozen purchases, this the first time, the girl filling them popping them as she did. (I left out that you were standing right there and seemed kind of frustrated she kept exploding balloons...) I did say, it seemed to me like maybe she was overfilling them. "Well, if you want to come back you can get two more balloons." I told her I was in Franktown and was just letting her know- (like HELLO YOUR EMPLOYEE IS MESSING UP THE ONE THING YOU ACTUALLY DO.) trying to be as gracious as possible. I mean, come on, if I wasn't going to come back in when one popped in the parking spot, I'm not going to interrupt nap and drag my toddlers all the way back for two balloons. All in all it's just really disappointing. They obviously didn't give a rat's backside about it. So I've only got 10 balloons to bring home instead of a dozen, it's obviously not their concern. Balloons are temperamental. She actually said at one point, "and well it's hot out." I've bought balloons in July and had no problems. And another one popped right after the call. I'll be glad to have six balloons for our birthday party at this point. I'm only giving them two stars instead of one because I have had a good experience five other times. This is the first bad experience, which would be FINE if they simply acted the least bit concerned. But apparently it's my problem, whatever the reason so many balloons are spontaneously popping, both in the store in the car and at home, it's not their problem. At the very least you could be sorry. You could say, "Hmm, I'll look into it." But no- nothing but the impression that I'm somehow at fault and that I'm clearly wasting their time by calling about balloons. read more

Unfortunately, my experience at the store was terrible. If you have to do business with these people, unpack and check all of your items at the time of sale. Their return/exchange policy, while clear at the time of the sale, has no leeway whatsoever for unusual occurrences. The owners (a husband/wife) are very condescending, rude, and, in my opinion, not good businesspeople. In my case, they were more concerned with challenging my wife and son's integrity than with accommodating a simple exchange request, which ultimately cost them $100+ in additional sales. read more

This is the third time I have had a balloon order "lost" and not ready when I went to pick it up. The owner is very cold and is only concerned with getting his money, not customer service.
