If you have someone from Marmac to manage your property, be aware that they will secretly put in a…read more$300 request from the potential tenants without you knowing. I see this as a deceptive tactic. They are trying to ruin the rental possibility simultaneously to have more time to find you a buyer and earn the commission from selling your property. Unfortunately, they were still unsatisfied with the 10% commission and wanted to ruin the rental, or at least that was the result. As an owner of the property, you need to know what their rental advertisement looks like, as they believe they have no obligation to tell you what they put in the advertisement. They lose this comment sense that requesting $300 upfront will ruin the rental. You suddenly have to argue with them why requesting this much money will ruin the rental. Why did I have to engage in this ridiculous conversation? Aren't we all live on the same planet? Arguing with this selfish logic is difficult and a waste of time. Remember, their goal is not to manage your property but to sell your property eventually. They don't even think for you when renting out your property but secretly want money from potential tenants without you knowing. If that's not a deception I don't know what is. The ridiculous thing is, they think that since it is coming from the tenant, they don't have the obligation to tell you. This is an insane convoluted argument. Really? Do you really think so? What if this is your own property? What do you think? $300 is not $3 or $30 Okay? Why again did I need to engage in this ridiculous argument in the first place? Find yourself a real property manager who is not just trying to sell your property in the first place. All they care is the money so they are not truly trying to manage your property but to find you a buyer and convince you to sell. They are there for quick money. Saying that they manage the property for you is just a foot in the door to sell.

We had an absolute nightmare of an experience with MarMac Realty. We worked with an agent and the…read moresales manager. We found them both to be very unprofessional and misleading. I would encourage anyone looking to sell a home in the Decatur/Hartselle/Priceville area to stay far, far away from MarMac!
