I left this clinic feeling completely unsupported during one of the worst periods of my life. I came in with severe anxiety, panic symptoms, foggy vision, and legitimate safety concerns because I operate heavy machinery at work. Instead of being met with care, my symptoms were minimized and dismissed. Even after scoring at the highest severity level on their own anxiety/depression screenings, the provider only gave me a taper for my current medication and never told me what I would be switching to next. I was given no treatment plan, no replacement medication, and no stabilization guidance. Only after I left did she call me multiple times asking to "discuss my medication," something that should have been handled during the actual appointment. When I brought in my FAMLI medical leave paperwork, she wrote on it without explaining why, making it unusable. When I asked for it back, she told me she had "written some things on it while talking to the other doctor" and offered to print a new one. The handling of my paperwork felt careless and unprofessional. I left more anxious and confused than when I arrived and will be filing a formal complaint. I'm confused by the negative reviews. Dr Vu has been our family doctor since she moved to Colorado. We find her to be an excellent listener, very thorough, and best of all, she's generous with her time. The other provider named Julia (PA) has also been phenomenal. I typically do not leave negative reviews, but my recent experience was disappointing. I arrived for my 11:30 AM appointment two minutes early and was informed that I would need to reschedule because I was not ten minutes early. I've visited this office twice before and have always been on time -- usually five minutes early. The posted office policy states that patients may be asked to reschedule if they arrive more than five minutes late, which was not the case here. I had already completed check-in the day prior and paid my co-pay, so being turned away despite arriving before my scheduled time was unexpected and frustrating. read more

Maybe the worst interaction I have ever had at a doctors office. Cancled my appointment that had been scheduled for 2 months 3 days before it was supposed to happen. We then rescheduled it, arrive 5 minutes late due to traffic and after having my fill out paper work, the rudest women I have ever met in my life who goes by the name "Jazzy" called me up to tell me they had to reschedule my appointment. We live 40 minutes away for reference so this was quite upsetting. This women was extremely unprofessional and rude to me, had me in tears by the end of the interaction. They wouldn't let me pay for the bill while I was at the office. Every person I asked why gave me a different answer. Then starting the next day I got pestered by multiple calls and emails daily saying "Did you know there is a balance in your account?". In addition, the blood draw process is a complete cluster. They made me reschedule twice. When the fateful appointment arrived, they told me they couldn't draw my blood (even though they had been calling and texting me daily reminding me about my appointment) and I'd have to reschedule AGAIN. Mind you, this is after I had been fasting all day in preparation for this appointment so I would have an accurate blood test result. Every time I asked why I couldn't get my blood drawn, I was given a different reason. If you have any other options, please avoid this place. It is managed very poorly. read more

worst practice I have ever used. I had cortisone injections in both my shoulders yesterday, from my orto surgeon, after I was home a couple hours, my blood sugar shot to 375. I am not insulin dependent because I am borderline diabetic. This has been my dr.'s office for over a year, called immediately, the message was relayed to the nurse who called me back that my blood pressure was 375, OMG! (seriousy) when I told her it was my blood sugar, and requested they call me in insulin so I could get it controlled and that it was an emergency, the lady said she would go talk to the Dr. Voo and call me right back. waited all night, now its 1:24 pm still no call, so I called them, got the same person I delt with last night, heavy heavy spanish accent, I asked her why no one responded to m, she said Dr. Voo said just watch it, watch what my body go into shock and me go into a coma. I went there on 12/8 in 2022 because I got Covid , when I got there they let me stay in my car and Hannah Holloran NP did the Covid and flu tests for me and before she did it I called my insurance provider and to make sure these tests will be covered by my insurance provider and they said yes, so I took the tests and the Parker Square Family practice clinic charged me $35 fee for I don't remember. And today on 3/2, 2023 at 8:20am, the Parker Square billing department sent me an email (this is the first email I received from them) with balance of $405.61 the Covid and flu and also another service called "Level IV" and amount due on 3/1, 2023 which was yesterday, This is so FUNNY! And I called my insurance provider right away and there is no claim at all , so I went to the clinic and talked to the front desk and the lady said she will email and talk to the billing department. I called 6 times the billing department nobody on the phone and kept saying "our agent is busy servicing another customer". I will never go back and get any medical service from them !!! read more

Prescriptions get sent to my pharmacy before my PCP leaves the room. PCP gives me as much time as I need and even puts notes in their online portal. I have been with Dr. Vu for a few years now. Started seeing her when she was at the DTC, and decided to stay with DTC location when she left to Parker Square. My care was not as consistent as it was with other providers at DTC so I went to Dr. Vu. She is wonderful person besides being knowledgeable MD. I am a former MD from another country, and we have that special way to communicate as a colleagues. And we create a team rather than and patient-provider situation for my health. Most importantly she takes a time to explain things, go over the results, compare your test, lab results and build a health plan with you not for you. read more

I moved to this office because of Dr. Vu who is a very good doctor but now I can't even get an appointment to see her she is booked all the time. The receptionist puts you on hold for hours and connected me to someone that didn't even belong to that office. I was suppose to get prescribed medicine and I called Primary care physician's assistant to see if that was sent to the pharmacy, without asking my name she said yes and when I asked her what medicine do I need to take then she ask my name. And when I called the pharmacy it was never send. I am trying to call back, the receptionist is putting me on hold for over half hour. Service at this office is really getting bad. I am really sad. I began seeing Dr. Vu at the DTC OnPoint location, and followed her to Parker when she moved! It was just a natural move. Dr. Vu has been the best primary care physician I've had. The staff at Parker Square Family Practice has been friendly and helpful every time I've had to come to the office. As nearly every doctor's office, you do typically end up waiting a bit to get into your appointment, but it's never been longer than 15min in the waiting room or the exam room. You can call the receptionist and they'll help you to their best ability or let you know how to get the message to your doctor in the best way (portal message, voicemail, them passing it on, etc). They've been able to get me in for COVID tests so quickly, and same for appointments! I'm never left waiting more than a week or two to come into this great practice for care. read more

I tried to switch my whole family to their practice and each one of us had disappointing results. They don't seem to care about customer/patient experience, time or health. It seems to be only a money-making practice that runs us through the lines like cattle. They didn't refill my prescription without a new apt and I wasn't even due for one. They didn't try to contact me - just denied the refill - no worries that I don't have any more and don't have time to get an apt in the next few days. They also prescribed dangerous meds for my son with no other options. He didn't end up taking them and got better without them. They are too busy to answer the phone and you can't speak to the doctor or even PA when you call. Even more problems - but I won't list them all. I would not recommend this place - especially if you are sick. read more

I've only been a few times, but I have waited a bit for my appointment each time. No big deal. Recently my husband was there for a 920 appointment and at 922 he received a phone call. He answered it quickly and got off the phone. A few minutes later the staff came out to get him and brought him back. Once back, they they turned to him and said "I came out to get you and you were on your phone, our time IS valuable you know!". Very unprofessional and so unkind. Our time is valuable as well and we'd rather our health care circle be filled with compassionate kind souls. We won't be returning. read more

Literally the worst practice I have EVER been to. Will not be going back. WORST bedside manner - didn't listen to a thing I said and "didn't have time" to address the main thing I went in for. I had been in there for 5 minutes answering their redundant questions. On top of being rude and uncaring, the assistant and nurse practitioner were incredibly uneducated. Didn't listen, looked stoic and could barely keep eye contact, didn't want to do any bloodwork or tests or anything more than push the same medications to fill the big pharma agenda. As a new patient of this practice, I would rate this five stars because: I made an appointment with the courteous and knowledgeable receptionist and was able to get in within one day; I was able to complete all my 'paperwork' online via the link that was sent within minutes after my call; I was 15 minutes early for my appointment and was called within 10 minutes; the staff was extremely polite and welcoming; I met with Derrick first and he took all my vitals and quickly input necessary data; I then met with Sherry NP and she took her time with me and I never felt rushed during the appointment and she gave me great suggestions and support with my medical options. Front desk didn't acknowledge I walked in as she was on the phone. I stood by the desk and after the phone call, she pointed to a clip board. I assumed sign in. We called ahead of time to see the wait time for urgent care and told just walk in. I should have known "urgent care" I'd be getting charged my "ER" copay. Nobody came out to assess the anaphylactic reaction I was having. The MA did not know how to give a Diphenhydramine injection and hit my sciatic nerve. I was then sent to Parker ER for no improvement and charged yet another ER. So $2K later.. This was not my only bad experience, I should have learned. I went for an annual. Waited in a drape for my physical for almost an hour. I got dressed, stuck my head out the door to see how much longer and the lights were off! I walked to the front desk who was packing up to leave and told to reschedule because the physician already left! No apology! I asked to speak to the manager but was told I'll receive a call and never did. I called back the following day and even a week later saying "they are busy." The PA I used to see left, I ran into her at another facility and she said it was an awful place. Honestly don't see how this place is still open. read more

Zero Stars! My wife is at Sky Ridge Surgical Center right now having a titanium plate and screws installed on a broken bone that Parker Square Urgent Care dismissed as "nothing serious".....TWICE! Urgent Care X-rayed it, said it was broken, and sent her home with a little velcro shoe that they claimed was all that was needed. When it still was swollen and painful a week later, we went back. They X-rayed again and said "the bone has moved" and sent her home with a calf high velcro boot. This was when I did what I should have done in the first place, took her to a specialist. The podiatrist said, "You need surgery...NOW!" She is in surgery as I write this. I'm sure there's a reason that sub-par doctors end up working at urgent facilities instead of nice, highly rated practices. read more

I wish I could give no stars. I called to make a new patient appointment and the man/boy that answered the phone was incredibly rude. I told him I would actually look for a different family practice to visit because his customer service skills sucked. He thought he hung up the phone but didn't. They proceeded to talk about a patient (by name) that was being seen there and how she was a "bitch" and "deserved to be sick". This is absolutely disgusting behavior and not to mention a HIPPA violation. It's sickening that people are looking for help and treated like crap. I started coming here for the convenience of walk-in appointments. I'm not sure why I kept going for so long. The front desk lady is rude. They consistently mess up my billng to insurance, forcing me to pay full price for visits. They say they have called in prescriptions to the pharmacy when they haven't. It is impossible to reach anyone on the phone. This is an actual message from Dr. Fayhe when I contacted her via Patient Portal when I got a UTI: " Well this is not the best venue to contact me about an acute problem and since I have no beak to check ANY message all day and am just now getting to yours, ( and still have MANY more!), gues I will just take your word for it and give yout the 3 day med." If I could give this place 0 stars I would. About a year ago I was seeing another doctor and got a new insurance that they didn't take so they referred me here. I went last summer and saw Dr. Gillespie since Dr. Jacobs wasn't in the office and I had been having some health problems. She was so nice and sent me to a specialist for a problem she thought I had(which turned out to be correct). So I kept getting calls emails and texts this summer saying that I needed to go in and see dr Jacobs for an annual wellness exam. So I called and set up the appointment. When I went in the day of the appointment there were a couple of other things I wanted to ask her about. The first thing she said when she walked in the room was, "you're seeing a gynecologist correct?" She didn't even introduce herself. Through the convo she went on to say comments such as, "why don't you use the brain that God gave you to figure that out" "since you're seeing another doctor I won't be touching you today. She can do all the work" "you want me to do all the work for you?" "Come over here let me show you how to use google." "It's not my job to find you a doctor to refer you to." (Which my insurance requires a referral from my provider for them to cover the appointment), "you've been on this earth for 23 years time to learn how to use your brain" "you wouldn't go to a brain surgeon to talk to them about a knee problems would you? And would wouldn't go to a heart doctor to talk about a eye problem would you?" Dr. Jacobs needs her license pulled and she shouldn't be able to practice anymore. Due to these and many other comments she made to me in the 30 mins she was in the room it is safe to say I will not be returning to that practice. I am a 23 year old who doesn't understand all of the medical stuff that I'm sure she does and she was very rude making me feel like I should know the answers to the questions I asked her. This practice is terrible!! Do not go to this medical practice unless you are young and perfectly healthy. I recently changed to this practice. Dr Jacob is just ok but she is not available. She only works a few days a week, only in the afternoons and she won't be available at all this summer. She is the only doctor at this practice. The rest of the staff is a PA and NP. Can they even legally operate without a MDs supervision in the office?! I saw the NP last week to follow up on their request I come in for some more blood tests after they got the results of my annual physical blood work. The NP didn't know why I was there or what tests I needed. She hadn't reviewed my record. She was slightly rude and it seemed like seeing me was such an inconvenience to her. I was very concerned about the additional tests and she did nothing to address my concerns. Then the NP prescribed a medication that conflicted with another medication I am taking. She never asked what medications I was on and apparently again, didn't check my record. My pharmacy caught the error and left repeated messages at the practice for the doctor to call them. No one ever called them back. The pharmacy contacted me and explained the situation and cancelled the prescription. I am looking for another doctor. This place is borderline malpractice.
