It's such a cute & quaint hotel. The look & feel reminds me of old Mexico that I learned about on school field trips in my younger days. Yet, there are modern touches and this hotel is very clean! The staff are also great , and they also a decent exchange rate at the front desk. (Although still cheaper to go a exchange store, the front desk is a great alternative when those stores are closed. Our room is a tight squeeze, but we made it work. We had a queen bed, and we didn't have much of a walkway between our bed to the bathroom door, but it was do-able. Location is also great and it's walking distance to the beach. The foods in this area are awesome as well, we explored spots by just walking everywhere. We felt very safe! I would def rebook here again if we were to come back to PV.

Note- you will pay the price as there are not any discounts happening here! Employees are attentive in most places... some speak English, some not so much. Happy shopping!

When my wife first said she wanted to "ride horses galloping through the surf" I was skeptical we would be able to find a place, as I assumed beaches just don't allow horses. We'll in Sayulita the horses can traverse trails to get to quiet secluded beaches that allow you to run your horses through the water and waves! Our guide was careful while not being overly restrictive, and the horse never bucked or tried to head back to the ranch. The only minor problem was keeping them from eating along the trail. Overall, for $119 per person because of the quality of the horses, trails, and ability to ride through the waves this was a great value. Highly recommended.

It is turning into more of a professional office building. There are doctors, dentists, attorneys, engineers, etc. There are also cleaners, nail salons, hair salons and some boutique stores. The anchor tenant is Mega with everything you need from groceries to liquor to paint to car tires to appliances (fridge, TV, juicer - you name it). There are restaurants around the perimeter like Jeans Hamburgers (awesome), Los Molcajetes (very good), Moka Café (great coffee and lunch) and a few others I have not tried. Parking is cheap ($6MX for 2 hours?). La Isla this is not, but if you must go to the grocery store, stop by and walk around a bit. It is mostly locals and not touristy other than expats going to Mega from the Marina condos.
