Can I give zero Stars? Just used them this weekend. Arrived slightly early to an empty lot. No warning when we scanned our code, but poof a $10 fee added to our bill for arriving early. Not three hours early but less than 20 minutes early. We left the lot the next morning and the scanner wouldn't accept the same scan we used to get in the day before. Fortunately the lot was at this point attended so you'd think it would be a quick fix. Nope, was like a mini Spanish Inquisition led by a dude who clearly got his customer service skills nowhere. After about fifteen minutes of questions from this guy, which included "why isn't it working?" (How would I know), we were finally released. Sent an email to parking panda customer service and 30 plus hours later, not a peep. So, save yourself the hassle. When it works it works. When it doesn't, it's a train wreck. read more

Terrible!!! Was told on the internet that the parking garage was 0.5 miles from the event when, in actuality, it was 1.5 miles from the event. HUGE DIFFERENCE. We ended up taking the bus back to our car (which kind of defeated the purpose of driving). We were also told their would be no parking closer to the event. We saw plenty of available parking on the way (much of it significantly cheaper and/or free). We were told we didn't need a paper copy of the parking pass, that it was sufficient to show a copy on a smart phone or tablet. Then we had to fight with the guy at the parking lot because he was pretty adamant that we needed a paper copy (even though we had the permit on a full sized tablet). We then found out that if we'd just showed up to the garage, it would have cost $25 instead of $40. Complete ripoff!!! Never, ever would have spent a dime on this had we known half the things that were going to go wrong (particularly if we'd double checked the distance between the garage and the event)... If you want a good app that's free, try parkopedia. MUCH better and completely free... UPDATE: They contacted me and gave me a partial refund with a profuse apology. They also asked some helpful questions as to how things went wrong in an effort to prevent future problems. I still think Parkopedia is a better option (and free). That being said, Parking Panda really went out of their way to try to make things right (without me having to do anything). And I greatly appreciate that. read more

I have used the app in DC, NYC, Philly and Baltimore. It's convenient to put the directions in my GPS and drive there directly knowing that garage is the best available for the price and distance from my destination. 2 years ago when I first started using the app, a garage was full, Panda gave me a refund. Another time the price at the garage was less, Panda returned me the difference. I'm assuming they've worked on these problems, the last few times I've used it had no problems. read more

Booked online, had acces to the pass on my phone and email, followed the instructions and felt confident that I had a parking spot waiting in unfamiliar territory. I used Parking Panda to locate parking in Washington, DC. After verifying with Mapquest, google maps and one of PP agents the garage Parking Panda listed as .5 miles from my hotel was actually a 15 minute drive. BUYER BEWARE. The concept is good. In my opinion. they have problems. read more

Buyer beware! The code they sent me didn't work. I kept getting an error message telling me to call their customer service which is pretty hard to do when there's a line of cars behind you. I requested a refund and was told they needed a receipt to confirm I was in the correct garage. 1. I used their address on the pass in my gps. 2. They had a picture of the garage on the pass paper. 3. Automated pay machine garage didn't give me a receipt. So, now I'm out over $30 for parking for 3 hours. It seems from other reviews that this service is really hit or miss. I personally will never use it again. read more

Would give this zero stars if possible! Paid $30 for advanced parking in Miami for an event at American Airlines arena. GPS couldn't find the address so I drove in circles for fifteen minutes in a seedy and unsafe neighborhood that was blocks from the arena. I finally gave up and parked directly across the arena for $15. Called Parking Panda next day expecting a refund but was told sorry, we don't give refunds. Completely negative! I would have voted for no star if there is an option here. I have booked a parking space in downtown San Jose on Dec. 23rd for the Sharks hockey game. The parking is valid from 3PM to 9PM. When we arrived at 4:30PM, both entrances of the parking structure were closed with gates and locked. There was no service people around. Eventually we had to go find a parking at different place paid by ourselves. And we were not the only one running into this. Later on I contacted Parking Panda/SpotHero, and no response at all so far. Of course no refund either. Taking your own risk if you try to book a parking with them. read more

Prepaid for a parking spot at Cityview Plaza parking San Jose 12/15/2018 for my company event. the parking was full and the entrance was closed when I got the at 7pm. They gave us reservations for a parking garage that was full, we were not able to find a lot that had parking spots available and we were not able to go the opening day for the Orioles!!!! I am beyond pissed. This is their mistake and they should pay for the tickets for the game because we didn't see the game because of them! Worst customer service ever! read more

Wow! I actually had a little problem with the parking garage in Boston (31 Tremont St), but after contacting customer service it took them a whole 2 HOURS to correct the error. Now that's great customer service. I will use them again without hesitation. read more

Used several times in DC a year ago with great luck. Used in Atlanta 2 weeks ago and quite upset. The address and directions sent to my phone were apparently for a different lot (managed by the same company). I had to pay $75 after car had boot put on, and was told I was registered for the parking lot down the street. Parking Panda responded right away with an email asking for receipt and said they would take care of it. I responded immediately with receipt, and they said they would look into it. I have been ignored ever since. I will be trying a different app in the future. read more

UH! Refund policy is not good and you will not get your hard earned money refunded if you didn't find the parking lot/space. It doesn't matter if you don't use, your money is just gone if you don't utilize the reservation or cancel before the parking start time. I parked in DC and there was no elevators in the parking I had to walk out from the parking lot at least 3 stories with a stroller and my kid. Better to go for an onsite paid parking lot. read more

Steer clear of panda parking. They sell slots in advance, take your $, nut on arrival, no attendant and no parking spaces. Nearly missed my daughter's graduation in Baltimore due to grid lock traffic and believing we had slot reserved with Panda. Parking Panda is really the only way to go when you are going to an event downtown and know parking will be an issue. I've used them a handful of times and have never had a problem. I don't understand the advantage here. I used parking panda for a garage for 2 days in San Francisco. When leaving, there is a barcode which scans the app and is supposed to let you out. The garage scanner wasnt able to read the barcode. Had to call for help. It seemed like a common problem to the parking attendant - I got the response "oh are you using Parking Panda?". I was finally let out after 5 minutes of frustration. On top of that, it would have been $10 cheaper to just pay the garage directly upon exiting. read more

I don't enjoy this invention. Too many what, if, but, how, who, when and where. The garage was unmanned so you have to press the call button to give the confirmation code in order to get out. No guarantee someone will answer on the other side. So you might end up paying twice!!! read more

Parking Panda will sell you "PrePaid Parking" for locations in N.VA / DC area where the parking garages DO NOT ACCEPT Parking Panda. You are struck (if you are lucky enough that there are still spaces available) paying TWICE, and you are very likely to find yourself without any available parking at all. I went to the U2 concert in Houston Tx last night. I paid approximately $70.00 for a spot in a reserved lot that was secured and gated in a local Blood Center right near Reliant stadium. When we arrived we couldn't get in and when we went into the center to ask why they told us that they were no longer affiliated with parking panda and whoever sold us the spot did so illegally. They allowed us to park in a lot that was farther away and not gated or secure, so we definitely didn't get what we paid for - the parking pass says the lot was gated and secure. We spoke to the person in charge at the blood center who allowed us to park there, but who informed us that they no longer had this contract with Parking Panda. We were not the only ones, as there were several others who came in after us (while the security guard was making a copy of our pass) who also had Parking Panda passes for the same event. This was, quite frankly, a theft. It spoiled the concert experience for us, as we worried that we wouldn't have tires or rims left, or if we would end up being towed. I only marked one star, because Yelp required it, but PP deserves 0 stars. read more

I used to love Parking Panda, told all of my friends about it until they screwed me over. I emailed them and they only answered me once to ask a question and never answered me after that. All I asked for was a refund on my tickets. They make deals with garages and those garages end up overselling parking spots so by the time it was my turn to park I had to park somewhere else and pay more money out of pocket. I was late to my event and I was so angry. I left messages on their phone and also remained on hold for the maximum allotted time before having to leave a message. They finally got back to me. They're super snippy if you tell them they do something wrong. They won't admit it... I won't be using this service ever again... ALSO... I reserved a parking spot near the National Zoo on April 30. When we pulled into the Leading Age Bldg Garage at 2300 Calvert St NW, there was no attendant and a car in front of us. I would learn later that there had been an issue downstairs, but it took my husband 15 minutes to park. My 3-year-old daughter had to go to the bathroom so we got out of the car to find a place to go. I left my phone with my husband, but it locked and he had to pay again. Not Parking Panda's fault. HOWEVER, the "Cancel Reservation" link on their receipt and on their website? Goes nowhere. Tried on my phone from 2 browsers and on my home computer when we got back. I emailed customer service and got the standard "Well, we have to make sure you didn't screw up because none of our other customers had a problem." Not once and "I'm sorry this was an issue for you." I sent the required information on May 2. No refund. No email to say "Thank you, we'll let you know." Nothing. I called today (May 7) and was told they'd received the information yesterday and "We'd have gotten around to the refund today" Yeah, I'll come home after not being able to find a parking place before parking with these people again. read more

We paid $18 to park near the Verizon Center this past Saturday night. When we arrived at the garage we reserved it was closed. The parking attendant told us that this happens all the time and people are always mad about it. I contacted Parking Panda customer service immediately upon returning home on Saturday night and to date they have not refunded me the money I pad for a parking space that was not available. One rep immediately asked me "how I knew the garage was closed?" When I told her that the garage door was closed and the lights were out, she did not respond. I have emailed then twice since then, and they still refuse to respond. Do not use Parking Panda because they do not refund your money if the garage they say will be open is closed. I don't know if it's called Parking Panda or SpotHero but either way, the spot for which I prepaid was not available when I reached the parking lot. I called Parking Panda/SpotHero and was told that they can't make sure that the lot attendant holds the spot. They offered to help find another spot and refund the difference if necessary, but it ended up being more aggravating and inconvenient than if I had not dealt with them in the first place. I did not enjoy the use of your parking garage. It is poorly laid out, all of the reserved parking spots were FULL. Which was concerning since I PREPAIED for a parking spot. This tells me that you oversell your lots and hope that not everyone shows up, that's an outstanding plan! Also I had left my rental agreement in the glove box of my car when I parked it and gave the key to the attendant. When I got back to my car that day (4 hours later) the agreement was missing. WHY WAS HE IN MY GLOVE BOX! In short I will not be using your services again, nor will I refer anyone else to use your service, but will tell them to not use your services. Your parking lots are unsatisfactory, you oversell your prepaid slots, and your attendant does not seem to be trustworthy. Terrible experience. Drove around for 35 minutes as the garage address was wrong on the app. Pulled into one, was told by attendant that it was the wrong garage. Drove around for another 30 minutes before we called the number on the app, in which the person working for panda app said we were originally at the right garage. When we went back, the employees told me the parking lot was full. After trying to explain I already paid, etc. they finally let me park my car there(they take your keys). Between the wrong address on the app and the language barrier with the garage workers, I would have rather paid triple the amount it was to park at my hotel. read more

I experienced terrible customer service and they have kinks in their system that they need to work out. If you transfer a parking pass to someone, you should have to ability to cancel the transfer before the person has accepted it. Nothing is ever "permanent". Absolutely ridiculous!
