Their employees were friendly, funny, and incredibly efficient. Keep in mind, the move was from Edmonton to Vancouver (a 12 hour drive) so My girlfriend and I drove down the day before, stayed in a hotel and arrived at our apartment at 8am the next morning. Much to our surprise QHP was already there when we showed up and had half of the truck unloaded! The unloading was complete before noon. As if we weren't pleased enough with them being helpful and ahead of schedule, our final cost ended up being LOWER than what they had quoted us. (Not to say that will happen in every case, but we lucked out) I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a short or long-distance move. Tried to get ahold of the estimator by 2 phone numbers and email, and they did not answer or respond. Got home 15 minutes late and they had already left. In today's day and age, you need to be able to answer a phone call to handle off-situations like this. If you can't even do that for an estimate, I'd hate to see their service during an actual move.

I've had this company do a number of appliance repairs at my rental unit. They have never once been on time ("on time" being at least a 4 hour appointment window). They don't call. They schedule all day appointments, then no-show and no-call. They were supposed to install a control board in my 2 year old washing machine this afternoon (purchased from Appliance Outlet, of course), that has been non-functional for three weeks now. "Between 1 and 5", they said. When I hadn't heard from anybody all afternoon, I called them to make certain someone was coming, which they reassured me someone was. So I waited. And waited. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. I didn't hire them, and wouldn't, but the property manager seems to like using them. I have now told her not to send them over again. It would probably have cost me less to hire someone reliable myself to fix the machine than the value of the time I've lost sitting around waiting for chronic lates and no-shows. Don't hire these people for your repairs. Don't buy anything from them. They're patently unreliable. Note: Yelp for some ridiculous reason places my location in California in spite of my attempts to correct it. I'm in Edmonton.
