The one thing that i noticed that was different at this office versus last years MRI at a different Shands location, was no mirror by your head to see operator running your test.Also no headphones with music , just ear plugs and foam blocks by your ears. Each locations has different styles of machines, so take that into account when scheduling a scan. I learned that today. The 2 ladies /nurses /technicians did take great care of me and communicated throughout the MRI process with me.

His behavior has directly impacted my mother's care, as he prematurely signed her out of urgent care against medical advice, which nearly cost her life due to his cognitive decline. This lack of support and communication is unacceptable, especially given the gravity of the situation.

Then one day he walked in with a shadow and asked if it was ok if he could join in. When I learned that this kid was actually going to be replacing Dr Benton I can admit I was a little worried. He was young and Dr Benton had some pretty big shoes to fill. But, I trusted Dr. Benton and if he was turning over his patients to Dr. Powers then surely he knew he had picked the right man for the job. And of course he did. I have never had not one problem with Dr. Powers. In fact the only problem I have is that I recently moved 2 hours away and I couldn't take him with me. They are so caring and personal and do everything within their power and more to provide for your needs. We've particularly appreciated all of the attention and genuine care Dr. Powers has shown toward our son and his abnormal genetic condition. I'm sorry to read Stephanie's review and I don't want to discredit her experience. Though I do suppose it's possible that anyone can have a bad day, I want to make a point to vouch for the Rick I've known for years. He is consistently one of the most joyful and caring people I've ever met. My family will make a point to pop into his office anytime we're in, just to say hi and see his smile. Also, I don't know of any answering machines that have selective services. They treated us just fine when we were on Medicaid. Lastly, all of the parents within my social circles regard Benton Pediatrics as the best place to receive care. Would give this practice 6 stars if I could! Awesome place :)
