For any big sports fans and also even history buffs, this is the place to come to. It's awesome seeing the variety of choices, along with each department carrying its own product all pertaining to sports. Most of the items will vary by price, and is not cheap for the most part, especially the details and popularity of them. Tough decisions in the process when it nails down to the wire. The workers are friendly and are willing to help, and even chat about sports and life. No big issues for the most part, but why though, is the store very cramped?! It makes it hard to walk around the whole store. It would be awesome to see an improvement with this, which will up my rating.

I stumbled on this gem during my summer holiday. They have a tight lil setup, lots and lots of…read morestuff in there (i.e. jackets, bags, pins, hats, you name it) piled up all around which is ok if you're comfortable in closed quarters. There is literally a narrow line to weave thru in the event there are say more than 7 people, aside from the staff browsing throughout the shop. A lot of the good picks can be hard to buy depending on the season (i.e. there was a dope fishing boonie that was neat and the perfect size for me however it was floor model only and likely previously fitted by many individuals). This is my first time to a physical MIL surplus store as I typically shop online for them and had no knowledge before my visit that this particular one was in operation for well over 50 yrs, kudos. One thing though is that if you plan on returning or exchanging anything you should discuss all the details PRIOR to purchase. For myself, def learned this the hard way as there was some gear I bought, accessories and tees (pd in cash) but changed my mind on some of them after a couple of days. Then I checked online and their store policy is 5 days with original receipt. So I returned with my goods, namely a T-shirt and was told it is NON-REFUNDABLE due to it being "underwear" and the fact it "touches your body". I was thinking "ok..." and my face def showed it, as this was the first time in my life that I heard of a business that bent their return policy. Maybe it was because of the fact that I paid cash for my gear, not sure and the owner did not want to refund me, but I got past it. But as a heads up, if you do think you may have any sort of wrinkle with a return it prob is better to put it on your charge card so you can work it out with the issuer/card company for any disputes. Me and another guy were standing there admiring it, and he said he was going to get one. Pictures below. They only have a few left, so make sure you go in there and grab one. I was trying to figure out how I was going to get it myself, but being from Los Angeles, wearing a Knicks jacket might look a little like I'm jumping on the bandwagon. There was not a lot of Laker gear, but the Knicks did win. Ironically, they had a lot of San Antonio Spurs gear too. They have a very big selection, a lot of displays for shoes, hats, and clothing. It was also nice to see they had a WNBA section. I think the WNBA is represented very well in there. Regardless of your team, there's very good representation. I think it's a must stop if you're a basketball enthusiast.

I was hoping I could buy one, and there they were!!!! A great size assortment and a big price, an embarrassing price, but I really wanted the sparkle tee shirt just like our amazing team wore right after their incredible WIN!!! And so, I gave myself a July Birthday present--I bought myself the tee for (gasp!) $75. The most I have ever paid for a tee shirt. The quality is there, it is a very well made, high-end quality, heavyweight cotton tee, with embellishments that put this tee in a higher price category but I would have liked a top price of $50 a lot better than the real price of $75. BUT, the tee has the gold embroidered NIKE SWISH LOGO in the neck band, it has black embroidered numbers on the lower right rear, indicating the 16 games THE NY KNICKS WON. I had to ask what that meant LOL. I paid $1 fee for the MSG bag, since I wanted to keep my precious new tee from getting messed up. I am so very happy that MSG SHOP had this special tee shirt, and I am grateful that I was able to buy one. Oh!!! And when I wear this magnificent NY KNICKS CHAMPIONSHIP SPARKLE TEE, strangers say things to me: "LOVE THE SHIRT!!" "NICE SHIRT!!" "GREAT SHIRT", and about half the people do a brief chat, too!!! So, if you're lucky enough to be able to buy the NY KNICKS CHAMPIONSHIP TEE, get ready for having fun, quick chats with other KNICKS FANS.
