Many welcoming greeters, large facility, comfortable seating, but I left thinking there's no soul in this church. In short, I wasn't feeling the family, fullness, and genuine their web presence suggests they deliver. And, for some reason, I wasn't really believing the Spirit was present here day we visited. It seemed more about the show than the Love. Maybe we just picked the wrong Sunday, or maybe my heart wasn't open, but another friend with us felt identically. If it works for you, I'm truly happy that you found your new church home. As for me, I'll keep looking for a more spiritual worship experience. read more

I love my church!! From day one I have never felt unwanted or unloved. Our Parkway students are one of a kind! We have felt very much loved and welcomed and at home in Parkway Bible Church. We have been attending for 2.5 years and it has literally been what has kept here in Texas. I wasn't going to write a review, but I feel compelled to correct something. It probably wasn't intentional, but Mr. S misrepresented the Owe Love Only campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to pay off the building, build an outreach center, and free up money for the compassion ministry (and other ministries). I'm sure Mr. S simply misunderstood the goal of the campaign. If the sanctuary isn't full, it's because the church has planted six new churches in about 15 years. If it weren't for those church plants, we'd be busting at the seams. I'm sorry he felt marginalized. The people I know at the church and the church leaders would never intentionally marginalized you. I hope you gave those who you felt marginalized you a chance to restore the relationship. Lastly, this is not a church of extremists, unless you consider loving Jesus, believing Jesus is THE way, and wanting to tell the world about Jesus are extreme. Here is a very short explanation of Owe Love Only: Romans 13:8 says the only debt we should owe is the debt of love. We can get the gospel out by investing in Community Compassion, Church Planting, and Global Outreach. Our compassion ministries are underfunded. I have attended here with my wife for over 10 years and have found this church to be full of real, caring people who are truly committed to practicing what they preach and being a part of the Pflugerville community. It has been an awesome experience to be around these folks and I now count many of them among my closest friends. As I write this review (summer 2014), here are some good things to know if you are thinking about visiting: - The church holds two services: 9:15 and 11:00. Both services are the same style of worship (as you know, some churches have a traditional service and a modern band-style service) - Sunday worship is more band-style than choral/hymn based, but throws in some good hymns on occasion. It can be a bit loud if you are used to a traditional hymn/choir service. - The preaching is Bible-based and follows a worship portion of the service. - Child care or youth programs are available during both services - The church does not have traditional Sunday school, but focuses small group times in home-based groups that tend to cluster around folks in similar life stages, though some people prefer to mix up with other groups outside of their life stage (kids/no kids/single/divorced/recovery etc.) - As you can guess from the name, the church is non-denominational (not Baptist/Methodist/etc.) and is focused on the Bible as the main source of wisdom for life and living. Love this church. The Pastor, Danny Box, is awesome and the people are so friendly. It is a Non-Denominational Bible church that believes in and is based upon the historic Christian faith. A nondenominational bible church that accepts every man, woman, and child - I'm in. I happened upon this church about four years ago and have been inviting folks over since then, and when I saw what a sorry review they had on here - I knew I needed to chime in. Basics - Free childcare available, (walk ins welcome or you can register online) Elementary and High school students each have their own worship services aimed at their age group every Sunday. Multiple classes on Sundays and throughout the week for adults to plug in and get connected. Newcomers breakfast - Yum! Various ministry outlets and volunteer opportunities - Women's, Men's, Children's, Single Mom's, High School, Middle School, etc. Large Sanctuary with comfy seats. Large projector screen for those times when a song is brand new. Great worship service every Sunday at both hours 9:15 am and 11:00 am. Clean restrooms and open walkways. - Always a plus! On the spiritual side of things - I've come to know Jesus through the grace of the people at this church. Not everyone will enjoy some of the feats a community have been called to - the Hope Center for example, but our faith is what allows us to even take those kinds of jumps. There are a family of people here who will remember your face every day, not just on Sunday.
