First of all, this place lacks integrity. My wedding was 09/14/2023. I sought out services from…read morethis place on 07/15/2023 for my husband and I second wedding outfit. After our meeting on 07/18/2023, I approved the white fabric for my second dress & everything was set to move forward. The day of the meeting we were told to come on 09/05/2023 for our fitting. On 09/03/2023 I reached out to confirm our fitting but it wasn't until 09/06/2023 that Legacy Tailors confirmed our fitting for 09/08/2023/. Fast forward to 08/18/2023 I reached out to Legacy Tailors (LT) to check if things were going well and they assured me that everything was fine. When we came on 09/08/2023 for the fitting, my husbands suit was fine but for some reason, the wife decided to change the color of my dress from white to a dusty light pink (PS: the colors for my wedding was burnt orange, brown, burgundy, gold, white, cream, emerald green & navy blue). Please keep in mind that anytime I recieved an update it was because I reached out to them & at no point did they inform me of any issues. I was shocked to be informed about the issue so late prior to my wedding day and I was livid ! LT offered to fix it but texted me on 09/09/2023 that the fabric was sold out. I requested a refund because 4 days was cutting it way to close to my special day. On 09/09/2023 my husband and I were forced to run to the mall & spend EXTRA money for a second outfit, which we ended up wearing instead. We left their clothes with them. I have been going back and forth between our banks for things to be made right but after 4 months, LT still refused to resolve the issue. The most insulting part is the fact that on the day of the fitting, the wife kept saying that she has 6 kids & she would hate for what has been done to me to be done to her kids, yet she chose to do this to someone elses daughter. Maybe one day the universe will return their lack of full accountability and they will understand how heartbreaking this experience was for my family & I.
