As a Deaf resident, I never felt like a burden when placing an accommodation request. It's quiet and beautiful place where I can do yoga, knit, work from home and enjoy family night when my family comes over. Requests are handled in a timely manner and the staff are always friendly. If you want to live anywhere in Rochester, I would suggest you live here because there no other place like it.

The only reason I moved out is that my lab moved to a different city. My roommate continued living there from 2018-2019, and has now extended his lease from 2019-2020. There's plenty of room in the bedrooms of the apartments. I fit a queen bed, a stack of 5 shelves, a big desk, desk chair, a dresser, a smaller chest of drawers, and still had some floor space left. In the closet I another small chest drawers. Apartments are clean and modern. The management was great. They responded to our requests and never tried to charge us for anything. I got my part of the security deposit back in full. My only complaint in 3 years of living was that my neighbors above me were rude. But that's bad luck, and can't be blamed on the property.

The separate entrances and huge closets for a 2-bed under 2K were what sold me. Added a garage for $100. Pool, sauna and gym on site - have yet to use. Staff are very professional and took care of some issues I noticed right away. The only downsides are the typical things you have to ignore/deal with re other tenants who do not take care.

I have never encountered anything so ridiculous…read more Before the end of my tenancy, the property used my unit being flooded as an excuse to enter my unit half a month beforehand, throw away my personal belongings and refurbish it for the next tenant. When I tried to contact the leasing office and claim my damages. Ms. Pamela Nowlin, kept changing the subject and would not give me a straight answer as to why she entered my unit and discarded my personal belongings as garbage while I was still paying rent. I was never contacted during this one process! To this day, the property continues to maintain a negative attitude towards my contact. They think that I, as an international student, am a vulnerable person who can be bullied at will. They only smile at you when they collect money and I will never, ever recommend erie harbor for any student at our school.
