never in my life have i experienced such HORRIBLE hair cutting, they f*cked me up so so SO badly…read morethat I almost cant bare to step outdoors without a hat on and even then the hat cant hide my HORRIFIC side profile after the barber had strapped me to that chair about scalped me, she practically had her way with my head, i had asked her to keep the sides a bit long she had said "2 inches sound good?" I had said yes because I didn't expect her to forget every single thing she's learned in the past 20 years in a single sitting. After she was done violating my scalp, she had taken me to the back to massage my head, which frankly was the only redeeming thing they even dared offer me, along with this TRECHEROUS 35 dollar bill they had given me, and I had to tip, there was no option NOT to, from what I had seen. AS IF THEY F*CKING DESERVED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. I knew they would've done me wrong in the first place, so I had come prepared with a hat, but not even a hat could've saved me from this torture she had made me go through. I'll remember you. Diana. She was so polite, which was shocking for someone with the combined IQ of a half-empty bottle of DR pepper, specifically the 2-liter, because she was, granted. On the heavier side. with "respect," But in all honesty, if any of you reading my review had seen the torture I had endured and the final product on the top of my head, people would've had less fear in their eyes describing a murder than what was left after Diana had her reign of terror. Genghis Khan had taken notes, apparently, because all she had done was divide and conquer on my scalp. If any of you had watched robo cop, specifically the scene where he was saying, "Holy Christ, there's nothing left." That is how I felt after I had seen the actual war crime on my head. I would've walked out of that "salon" with more pride if there was a turd on top of my head; she had violated the Geneva Convention on American soil in a small town in Indiana, located right on top of my poor scalp. Please, if you read this. Never go to this "Salon." I won't be able to show my face for 3 weeks to a month without a hat on at the EARLIEST. I feel as if I should've just had a deaf, dumb, and blind 5-year-old go to town on my hair. It would've looked better. My hatred for Sports Clips knows no bounds. If I could sue, I would, specifically for defamation on my head.

However, the location in Columbus, Indiana is terrible. When this location first opened, things were great, but then the stylists got into a routine habit of letting their friends and family walk in and cut right in front of everyone who has been sitting there waiting. Because if this, people are now trying to sign in online way ahead of time, just to try to be secured a spot when they get there. This is the only location I have ever seen have a 2.5 hour wait, with a nearly empty waiting area. As you check in online, and then show up early, you see all these people come in, talk to a stylist, who says something like "let me finish this one, and I'll sneak you in," or as people come in and have not even checked in at all, they will get taken ahead of everyone else who has been sitting in the lobby. It's ridiculous how unorganized it is as they pick and choose who gets to go next, almost bypassing the waitlist entirely. This has happened numerous time at this location, so lately I've been traveling to a different location for a hair cut. Today, I didn't have that luxury, so I went ahead and checked in online, which showed a 150 minute wait (2.5 hours). I ran a couple errands first, and decide to head in, as I showed 5th in line in the app. Once I got there, I checked in and sat down, with only 3 people in the lobby, and I showed 5th in line on the board inside as well. As I sat there, several people showed up and were told they would be "snuck in" next. One guy was there for his son, and had even told them initially that he didn't need a cut for himself that day, but after his son was done, he changed his mind, and was taken back immediately. A glance at the board, and somehow I'm now number 18 (EIGHTEEN!). HOW?! After sitting there for an hour, I was still showing a 2 hour wait. Last time I was here, I wound up walking out because of these issues, and that's exactly what I did this time. If that's not bad enough, you have stylists who do such a mediocre job, just to try to get through the cuts and get their tips. I understand that they need to work quickly to get through the list of people waiting, but when you tell them what you want up front, and they don't follow those instructions and have to correct it, some of them act very put out, as if you're wasting their time. After today, I doubt I'll ever come back to this location, as it's literally quicker and easier to drive 30 minutes to another location.

Ok.. So I showed pictures of hair style I wanted but they totally messed up my hair…read more... Also some hair dropped on my clothes bc front wasn't covered.(that was unprofessional.) After he showed me if it's ok and I told him I don't like flat hair edge and he cut more hair and removed the cover w/o asking if it's ok. So I was not able to check hair. I got back home and looked at mirror & am so upset bc it was NOTHING like what I asked for. Back is way too short than side which I don't understand how it turned out like that when I showed him pictures of hair style and I also said side shorter and back longer. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are female. I will never go to great clips. this place is more like for small children or men.
