I had gone to Blondie's after one of my friends recommended them for vitamin B-12 injections, and I was paired with Abbie who was absolutely amazing! I went for multiple injections and started feeling so much better. I finally had energy back, and the appointments were always so quick. Booked a special with them for a massage. (Was $200 but with the special was supposed to be $100). Paid a $50 deposit and the receipt said I would owe $50 when finished. When finished they instead charged me full price of $200 and claimed there never was a special despite showing proof. Talked to the owner and was given a run around of how the special didn't actually apply to my situation. Very unhappy with their customer service and the massage was mid at best. I really contemplated posting a review. I am not one to post unless I feel very strongly one way or the other . In this case , I've continued to be unhappy since I left the salon . I am a platinum blonde . I've done my own bleach and tone for years . Because I'm growing it out - I needed a professional to do my color. The marketing and store front of Blondies is amazing. I felt as though I was walking into luxury. I asked my stylist to cut my dead ends at the end of my appointment and she said yes. My hair is not 100% healthy but it was healthy enough to process more than 10-12 foils. Once my towel was removed from my wet hair I was looking at the same hair I walked in the door with. Painfully subtle highlights , extensive dark roots showing , no visible white blonde, to me . I told my stylist 3 times that I prefer an edgy punk style - showed pictures . I was styled as if I were at least 10 years older than I am. Soft under curled waves - the exact opposite . I was told I would be cut once dry but it never happened . I literally teared up when I was spun around in the chair . I actually cried - not hysterical but just disheartened . I left with the same hair I walked in with , and paid over 300.00. I have never paid that much for salon services . I regret every penny and will not be returning, ever. I personally believe I deserve a refund - nothing was done and I left in tears. read more

I visited this salon because I am turning 60 February 2, 2024 and I Just wanted to be able to wear lipstick without it always feathering! I met with Tosha, an actual nurse, who was patient and professional. She listened to my needs and wants and was able to come up with a written plan ,including pricing based on exactly what I had expressed to her. I was so comfortable that I went ahead and started with my lips. I was so pleased at the instant results that I booked more procedures for 3 days later. Tosha checked on me repeatedly and was so genuine. I could feel the pride that she takes as an " artist" ensuring her clients well-being throughout the process. I cannot recommend her enough. Having a true medical professional and expert on fillers is the way to go. This is a simple, reasonably priced way to ease gently into our goddess years without the cost and fake look that one sometimes sees. I visited today with my mom and sister. It was a special 'girls day' that only happens maybe once a year. My sister and I had the same person, Reily (I think), provide the facial. My sister bragged about how she received a shoulder rub and had product applied to her upper chest area. -- I did not receive the same attention and, when questioned, was told that those services typically where not provided with facials. But Reily was happy to push an $82 dollar product on me without providing information on what it does or how it was superior to my current skin care routine. All I know is that it was from Italy, which could be a deterrent as I prefer to buy American. I was curious about Botox and other options. But, when I indicated that I didn't want to go into debt by using Cherry service -- some sort of payment plan -- I think it was assumed that I couldn't afford it and the conversation was dropped. Overall, I had high expectations since this is an established business. But, unfortunately, I am apparently not worth the time since I was not willing to buy additional services or overpriced products. read more

Sidney is a Great person to see if you are wanting to get your brows waxed!! She also does a lot of other things besides brows. I have never been a person to go to a salon for anything, but when I was recommended to try Blondies I was hesitant. Everyone always said they were pricey but to be honest they are not. The prices are great especially with the service and experience of the staff. Staff are friendly, polite and go out of there way to make your experience the best you will receive anywhere. My rating has nothing to do with service I've received at Blondies, but with their new rate increases. Their spa services area is not luxurious at all, but a bare minimum room. The prices they want to charge now are higher than the luxurious spas in Indy!!! If I'm going to pay this much money, l expect the rooms, and service to be way above what they offer. Unprofessional and unfriendly. Not an auspicious start for the new location. I booked a 1:30 barber cut online with Jane three days before the appointment. When I arrived at 1:25, I was told Jane was with another client and shown to the waiting room. When I sat down, I notice Jane was just then taking her other client to be shampooed. Since she was just starting the person ahead of me at 1:30, I realized that she was a full haircut behind schedule. But I wasn't in a hurry. By 2:00, Jane was still not done with the person ahead of me and her 2:00 client had apparently arrived. During the whole time, several other stylists and headset-clad managers walked back and forth giving me smirking or confused "I-don't-know-why-you-have-been-sitting-there-all-this-time-but-its-not-my-problem" looks. Finally, at 2:05, when Jane had finished with the person before me, her 2:00 client was quickly ushered by a headset wearer into Jane's chair for his service. When I pointed out that I was still waiting for my 1:30 appointment, only then did Jane or anyone else seem to realize that she was a full 35 minutes behind schedule with a client waiting the whole time. No one seemed to care much, though. They did seem slightly annoyed with me for being there and, apparently, for playing havoc with Jane's schedule. Not really wanting to be the person Jane made up time on (and being pretty put out at this point), I decided I would just leave. Jane offered a half-hearted, insincere apology while giving an "I-think-that's-best" look. "I think things were booked a little tight" was her excuse. After checking with a headset wearer to make sure I wasn't charged for a no-show, I was taken down to the cashier to confirm. The headset wearer told the cashier that I had decided "skip out" on my service but wasn't to be charged. No one else offered any kind of apology and everyone acted like the whole thing was par for the course. As far as they whole crew was concerned, they seemed to think they had done a great job and were sending off another satisfied customer. This was the first time I have ever booked a service at Blondies, so I can't say if this was a fluke or if people are routinely treated this way. Nor can I say for certain whether the fault lay primarily with Jane or went deeper. My impression, though, was that it was systemic. read more

I had a great experience. I made an appointment online and it was easy. I was taken to my chair right on time, i didn't have to wait. Maddie did an excellent job shampooing my hair, I really enjoyed the scalp massage. She was very knowledgeable and I truly appreciated her tips on what products to use and how to style my hair. Blondies saved me after a horrible color when my previous hair stylist left and I was searching for a new one. Penny got me in ASAP for color correction and then Victoria has been doing an amazing job since then! I've also had plenty of spray tans from here and they are very high quality. Everyone is very knowledgeable on products and services and happy to help you in any way! They offer all sorts of spa services that I have yet to try but would be excited to in the future. Had a prenatal massage here yesterday with Anna....Looooooove. I had heard great things about her and my wonderful husband surprised me with an hour of her time, I was not disappointed! I have had massages other places before but not for a couple of years, as a toddler mom as well as 37 weeks pregnant a time to relax was 100% needed. Anna has that perfect balance between a light touch and firm kneading to really relax the muscles. She did ask how the pressure was for me so I'm sure if I needed more or less she would have done it--but I was good! I felt like a new woman by the time she was done. 10/10 for her. The only things I'd mention were it wasn't very quiet in the room, the music was fine but I could definitely hear talking and bustling around outside the door/in the next room. Not terrible but worth mentioning. Also I kind of got confused coming out afterwards, I am seriously directionally challenged though so that may be more a personal problem but I did kind of feel abandoned like "okay you're done, see ya at the payment desk!". Really though, not a huge deal, I'll be back! I'm going back Tuesday for a manicure so I'll update on that *update!* Had my gel manicure, it was lovely! You get a paraffin wax treatment, a sugar scrub and a lotiony hand massage (I bought the lotion she used because it's amazing!). Plenty of color options as well. read more

I wouldn't go back. We were a bridal party coming in for mani/pedis the day before the wedding. 4 ladies, 3pedis and 4 manis. We scheduled to arrive at noon and were told we'd be done around 5p. This was pushing us too close to rehearsal so two bridesmaids opted to forgo the manis and just get pedis. We arrive for our appointment and somehow (in spite of several phone calls) were short one pedi appt. So now either the bride has to skip one of her treatments (seriously?) or a bridesmaid now gets no service (which is what we opted for) because they can't squeeze in another pedi. So, we're not off to a great start. The girls who helped us were very sweet and pleasant. Though, I feel the work we received was mediocre. They forgot to put on my sandals before painting my toes so I smudged one and I still had some flaking on my heel. I also had to clean up the skin around my nail (polish on skin) a bit. What really pushed me over the edge was that we wanted to buy the polish I picked so the other maid could use it. They didn't have any more because it was a limited Christmas collection color... In June. So we inquired if we could buy the open bottle. It's an old color, open, and one of the bridesmaids already had to skip service because of their mix-up. They asked a manager. I was sold the bottle at full retail. No discount for it being open and used. I didn't argue because I didn't want the mood to diminish as we headed to rehearsal. I was grateful that they let us bring in a cooler of snacks and lunch which helped make it a fun experience. But that didn't outweigh the lack of organization or service. read more
