Worth stopping a nice old school barber feel. We walked in at 4 after going by to mothers that was closed even though the hours listed open. They had full seats a few waiting on their usual barber, but they got the 2 boys in and was polite about it saying we will try to get you in quick. Both the boys was happy with the way their haircuts turned out I think we got the 2 newest barbers they had but no complaints they listened to what they said and did the cut right it seemed a little frieded when we walked in but the have a extra sitting area towards the back.not my normal barber me personally I'm not from the area but it's worth stopping in (better to call ahead ) but nice Little spot read more

This is the best place in Central Indiana to get a haircut for men. The ladies are amazing and do wonderful. As a father of a bi-racial son, many people struggle with his tight curls. All of the ladies do great with his hair and keep him entertained. There is typically a wait, so don't be surprised. Waiting is well worth it. read more

Some others might say it is good, and that could be true. For me this place gave me the worst haircut I've ever had, it was the only haircut I ever thought I would not say it looked good when asked. How did this happen? I believe it might of been a miss communication, as I said a little off the bangs. The barber decided to make me look like I am balding, which is not the look for me. Thankfully the hair will grow back eventually, but the places where I can't wear a hat like church, I have the slight feeling of self consciousness of looking bad. If I could get a refund I would, but oh well. In all I will most likely not come back. But if you are reading this, this is a local business so they do care about their customers more then a corporation. So go here instead of sports clips or great clips. But, be advised know EXACTLY what you want and show them. read more

The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. They always do a great job and I've never had an issue. I'm not sure why the other guy had any issues, I'm in the military, as is a ton of their other customers and they always know what to do. In fact, there is usually a bit of a wait because they are so good. I'll definitely continue to go there and recommend this place to others. read more

my family and I just moved to franklin three months ago. been looking for a barber shop. I was both surprise and pleased what I found in this shop. it has the atmosphere and looks of the old fashion type barbers shops. the ladies were very friendly. Brandy did a great job. Had a great experience getting my hair did at this shop. I'm visiting from out of town and needed a haircut thanks to stupid Army regulations. The ladies in there really take their time to do it right. There was no rush for them to get people through as a steady stream of customer walked in. And they really do take care of the neckline between clippers to straight razor. It's refreshing to see a legit shop that caters to men and actually gives great service. After a couple of times here, my suspicions were confirmed. It's a beauty salon disguised as a barber shop. A woman insisted on a number when I just wanted it tight. I told her I wasn't comfortable and that I would use the guy I had used before. Then the owner starts to lecture me on numbers. She even said that the guy I'm about to use isn't a barber, but she is! I nicely said that I didn't come in for a lecture and left. I will take my business and as much of the local military population as I can influence with me. read more

I have been going to this barbershop for years. They have a total of four stations however currently only three barbers. One recently left. Even though they have gone through several different barbers in the last few years, the owner as well as one other barber give top notch "barbershop" cuts. The rotating barbers occupying the third and sometimes fourth spot have been somewhat questionable. Currently the third barber is somewhat green in this environment however despite other reviews, all services provided by this shop are further on the barbershop side of the pendulum than a beauty salon. Especially during peak times including most of Saturday, this shop is packed. It is not unusual to spend up to two hours waiting. This may be frustrating especially when they loose track of who is next. This could be avoided if they would simply implement a numbering system. There is a fine line between giving a great, non-rushed haircut and going beyond acceptable wait limits for this type of service industry. I go to the barbershop approximately every two to three weeks. Sometimes the timeframe window to complete this task is small. Unfortunately I will possibly be sacrificing quality for the sake of time by going to a national chain from this point forward. This pains me because I rather give my money to local businesses instead of national chains. Maybe if I was retired and with no time restraints I would reconsider because the "barbershop" cuts are second to none. The three out of five stars is due to long wait times and inherit chaos. Best barber shop in Johnson co and franklin. Blows mediocre clips away. I am moving away but will find time in my schedule to come back in town to get my hair cut at this place. I was in the area again and knew I was coming here with my free time! This place is almost two hours from my house so I can't make the trip unless I'm down in the area. No doubt the place is really great, they take their time and make sure it's perfect, a little massage and straight razor...if your going to some chain hair cut location you are nuts. Some people think you should be in and out in 5 minutes. That's not the case and it shouldn't be the case...keep it up! Another review says it's a beauty salon in disguise, that is also false.
