This firm is a joke!! i would probably been better off going with jacoby & meyers!! Parris law firm is a big firm with multiple lawyers that go after cases that small firms cannot handle. That is what exactly happened to me. I got hit making a left turn and a kid running a red light. I injured my lower back in 2021 and the firm recommended me to have surgery. I got the surgery and from there I had more complications. The defendants insurance company would not pay and ultimately we sued them for "bad faith", as the attorneys for parris told me. They did not disclose any of the contingencies agreement and pretty much forced me to sign it. Had I known they would take 40% I would of went the opposite direction. The attorneys were so nice during the 2 years of litigation. Almost to a point I had 100 % trust. That is where they get you!! you put your trust in someone that knows the law and think that they have good intentions, but trust me when I say it is a form of deception. When I got an offer from the defendant for 987,000 I thought that i would at least walk away with more than everyone else. Mind you , I was also hesitant to take that offer and wanted to go to trial. But my attorney pretty much convinced me that this was a good deal and that going to trial would cost me more money. The attorneys used my financial hardship as a tool to get me to sign the offer. They also told me they have the best negotiating team in the country and would get my leans down at least 25 to 30 percent. That was a lie, Rawlings which is the health insurance that handles leans was only at 46%. Random people and doctors with their grubby little hands took a big chunk. I mean I do not know how much a shot cost but it sure isn't 4000 dollars. The random pharmacy charged me like 1000 and when I called them... they said that is the price of doing business!!?? whatever that means... This law firm is a joke and the only reason why they get to do what they do and get away with it is because the father of the company is some big shot DA in lancaster or something political lawyer there. stay away and do not sign with them.... oh yeah, as soon as I signed the offer, guess what: I was totally ignored and treated like a red headed step child: (no offense to the red hair people out there, its just a saying). I have contacted the bar association and even went as far as calling the firm. Guess what they said: its too late and that they could not do anything for me. wha a joke read more

I was very pleased and satisfied with this law firm. Follow through and communication were excellent, and they were able to negotiate a reasonable settlement with a large company I was suing for deceptive business practices and personal damages. It was a difficult case in that the company's purchase agreement contained all kinds of legal language limiting their liability as well as limiting the options for resolving a dispute. The company initially offered me $2000 to settle. Parris Law got involved and was able to negotiate a $45,000 settlement. Thank you Parris! read more

Without going into TOO much detail, my family and I were involved in an automobile accident that left a couple of us hospitalized. Like a couple people here I too have been turned down by this law firm for the reason that what I believed was because the case wasn't large enough well actually it was my husband's case so I wasn't turned down he was but that actually made me respect the firm even more. Perhaps I feel this way because once upon a time I was hoping to become an attorney until certain circumstances happen that prevented that from happening thus far and I can promise you and I've worked around attorneys as well for most of my life and I can tell you right now most attorneys especially and I mean especially personal injury attorneys do not become attorneys so that they could make small amounts of money to help the little guy. The ones that do usually work for legal aid or for some of the other offices that firms such as Rex Paris is law firm refer people to. And when you think about it if you got a case that might settle for say $50,000 these attorneys work for 6 months minimum on a case if it goes through litigation it could be four or five or more years to get a portion of $50,000 how many of you would work 4 to 5 years to get a portion of $50,000. As for their contracts I can tell you right now they're not much higher than a lot of other law firms if any higher at all it's pretty much around average that's why a lot of people don't bother filing personal injury claims at all because once the attorneys and bills are paid off there's oftentimes nothing left for the client. I do not work for the parish law firm I do have a case which I can't speak about because it hasn't yet been resolved and I have had concerns that after the lawyers are paid and the bills are paid if there's a settlement or judgment in our favor if anything's going to be left for me but I know this law firm is going to give me the best chance of that happening. And if you find an attorney a personal injury attorney with as many years experience as this law firm and they're willing to take a case that's likely to settle for a small amount of money I wouldn't suggest that you hired that attorney because if they've been practicing that long and they're still willing to take small cases they're probably not very bright and probably don't win very many cases if you have cases that are going to get a small amount you should look into some of the attorney's Rex parish refers you to or legal aid those are words of the attorneys that are good or just out of law school so they still remember the law and they're wanting to make a name for themselves that's where they practice but I personally would never hire an attorney with more than 10 years experience willing to take a case that's likely to settle for small amount of money that would just be stupid. and if somebody came to you and said okay I have two side jobs for you one could have you working as little as 6 months or as many years as maybe seven and it'll pay part of $50,000 or side job be same set of circumstances only it could likely pay several million dollars which would you choose? Yeah maybe seem kind of messed up after you might not be willing to help the little guy but if lawyers are led by their emotions then imagine when it comes to negotiating with the other side they're going to feel sorry that the other person is having to pay so much and they're going to negotiate a lower amount just cuz they feel sorry for that person that's not what I want in an attorney myself but I guess everybody has their own priorities. And I don't know if I mentioned it yet but at least this law firm does refer people to other attorneys some of the other attorneys that turn people down they just pretty much hang up on you once they decide they don't want to take your case they don't refer you to anybody at least this law firm cares enough to do that. And anybody who's surprised by the amount that a law firm charges this one or any they should have read the contract they signed first always read what you sign ask any law firm they'll be the first ones to tell you so and maybe even have an attorney look at it not the ones that are having you sign the contract either but good luck to anybody looking at a case thanks to those who written success stories with this law firm I'm keeping my fingers crossed I have an awesome team and I'm having faith in them and we'll see I made i informed consent read more
