Geico recommended Gross. Selected the Express Service. Informed the estimator that I had previously worked at a body shop. Very affable and said the damage was so minor he would probably send my BMW to the body shop same day. Fast forward 2 weeks. Why is this taking so long. Answer-you selected the Geico Express Service which takes longer. What?? Another week and asked where is my car? Waiting to go into the paint shop; sitting under a tree in a chain link dirt lot; just where anyone would park a convertible. When will it go into paint? Answer-soon. Started calling daily. Reception is now very unfriendly and snippy. It will get done when it is done. Another week and got the car back. Complained about the poor paint match (probably a too thin pearl color coat) and the misaligned bumper. I was stunned when the fellow says our work is guaranteed so you can bring it back anytime and we will fix it. Oh goody, another month hoping the work is done right the second time. Why Gross could not get the job right the first time is a mystery. Our schedule took us out of the United States for a few months so we paid another body shop to fix Gross's shoddy work when we returned.

Had to have the car towed from there and am currently having everything that was done there done again at a more experienced place. He seems like a nice guy, and his family is very congenial, but I certainly wouldn't recommend him to anyone that has real body/frame work that needs to be done. If anyone wants actual pictures of the fiasco that cost me 25 grand but didn't accomplish much, just say so and I will gladly post some.

The customer service people at the front desk are nice that's about all the good things I can say. Took my NEW car 2017 Rouge in that had minor damage, the fender needed replaced that's it. (on passenger fender due to tree branch falling on it.) Well to start it was a day late on being done on the original schedule, that might have been acceptable if it had not came back with new damage! The framing around the drivers door had a small dent on it yes I said DENT, a dent that was not there prior to taking it. The glass in the window on the passenger side was etched with deep scratches like they dropped something heavy and sharp on it and had a chip of glass missing! They also said they had to feather in the paint from the fender to match passenger door, yes maybe so but with new paint it kinda makes me think that they just carelessly let something heavy and sharp hit the door whatever it was apparently screwed my window up too. And let's be honest the paint job was horrific upon more inspection you could see stuff like bubbles that popped or trash that had gotten into the paint. Some parts of the paint had rough spots in it, and they cut to deep into the body while buffing or whatever it was they did because it left dark splotches and a line that was also very noticeable above my door and handle. Not to mention the pin stripe is starting to bubble up due to the trash/ grit under it. All these things are very unacceptable, especially when you take a new vehicle there for minor repairs and you get it back with all these issues, you'd think maybe they would hire responsible individuals that truly give a darn about good workmanship. I'm positive that if it had of been there vehicle that they would have been livid! Which I am livid but I mean what's done is done, I just know one thing, I will NEVER bring any vehicle of mine or my families here ever again!! Oh I will make sure NO one I know does either!!

He doesn't think he owes me timelines or past communication with insurance so I can determine what to do. He's teamed me out of his office and refused to assist me. This shop must be in decline with that kind of rude, offensive disdain for elderly women. Considering legal action just to find out what is going on.
